I cannot say enough for the professionalism, amazing communication, respectfulness and kindness of the entire Springfield Roofing team. I have never experienced such a smooth and competent house repair in my life. I live in an 118 year old classic DC row-house that needed a complete replacement and modern updates. Springfield roofers efficiently brought my beautiful home up to code plus I received a new skylight with a remote controlled shade… now that’s what I call an upgrade! I will 100% be recommending Springfield to all of my friends, family and neighbors. They are the best of the best!

A branch fell, making a hole in the roof. We called Springfield Roofing, who had installed the roof. We stressed that rain was expected the next day. The next morning an employee showed up, gave us an estimate for repair, AND spent 20 minutes or so installing a temporary patch involving metal and shingles. The permanent repair was done a few days later and looks great. We are very grateful for the prompt response and good work.

I sought estimates from 3 roofing companies for the gutter repair needed on our house. Ben was the only one who not only gave a fair estimate, but also explained why the repair was needed. Springfield Roofing and Sheet Metal recently completed installation of a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof on a large portion of Burke Presbyterian Church. The area included five roof drains and more than two dozen skylight glass panels. The finished product exemplified superior workmanship. The management staff - project managers and foreman - were a pleasure to work with. The thing that impressed me most of all was the pride the individual employees (roofers) took in their work. They were very engaged in their tasks and often proudly pointed out work that they had just completed.

Andrew (Springfield Roofing) examined my leaky roof, he constructed a plan to fix this problem That I have had for years. A previous contractor had visited several times, made half-measures in trying to repair, none of them worked. Andrew's crew, led by Edgar is obviously skilled and experienced, they visited the day before the work was to start to get a first-hand look and dropped off shingles. The next day Edgar with two others showed up first thing in the morning and worked diligently and intelligently to implement a substantive and permanent fix. Finally after years of frustration with a failed previous contractor, the roof is fixed and solid. This was all done within two weeks of my first contact with Andrew. Excellent job.

Called Springfield roofing to replace my roof. Andrew came on scheduled date and time, was a very pleasant deal, very responsive and got done on a very timely manner. Yesterday Andrew came to take a look making sure everything was done correctly. He and I found one thing was not done properly and he said don't worry we will do it again. I had mutiple projects with Sprinfield Roofing and very pleased with the excution. I learned a lot from Ben, the knolwledgeable sales representative about the latest developments in roofing and siding. My roof was replaced with a new one with cut and installed smart vents in the middle and top roof which provide natural ventilation of my attic. I was happy to get rid of of my noisy exhaust fan in the attic. At Ben's adviced for my siding the best Hardie board tiles made of fiber cement resembling genuine cedar, maintenance free, resistant to rain, hail, fire, were installed. I also have now new gutters, and downspouts. Ben installed even the extensions to the downspouts free of charge. I am very grateful to everybody contributing to my project.I highly recommend this family owned company to anyone reading my review.

Due to an issue with my home owners insurance, I needed my entire roof replaced in a short period of time. I got three bids and Springfield Roofing was competitive and had the materials on hand . I had used them for a previous roof issue and they did an outstanding job then, so I chose them once again.

They did not disappoint this time either. As soon as weather permitted, the work was done and completed within the time frame I needed. The roof looks fantastic ! The workmanship is first rate and the crew was terrific ! Every detail of the flat roof TPO installation and the pitched roof shingle job was done with attention to detail.

Courteous, responsive, on budget and on time. Installers were diligent and respective of the property and the occupants. The new roof looks great and, after one hard day of rain, is water tight.

Springfield Roofing does it all. We moved into our new place where an assortment of tasks needed to be done. Some new gutters, others repositioned and mended. Plus bad flashing and broken downspouts had to be fixed. They were very thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. They even followed up to make sure the job was done right. I'd call them again in a minute!

I left a voice mail message with Springfield Roofing on a rercent Sat about a ceiling leak. First thing Mon I received an email that the owner himself (!) would contact me for an appointment. He and I spoke, set a date for Wed between 9-10am. Estimators JC and Matt arrived at 0855 hours, diagnosed the problem, made the repair themselves on the spot at a VERY reasonable price and left. When we called Springfield Roofing for an estimate, we were given an appointment for a representative to come out. Andrew came at the appointed date and time and was very pleasant to deal with. After checking our roof, he told us he would send an estimate either that day or the next. We had a second estimate at Springfield seem to be the better fit. We chose our shingle color after looking at several roofing jobs that Springfield had done, and our job was completed within a week. The roofers were timely, courteous, and very neat. They were careful to cover our plantings And patio items. They carefully cleaned up all the debris and the following day. Another representative from Springfield came out to assess the entire job before we were required to pay. We are very happy with the service and the final result.

Top quality work and communication. No hassle, no struggle, as I find regularly with various contractors. The first roofer I auditioned wanted to do a grand scale replacement over a simple patch at twice the price the mechanics at my house at the time stated that company was not willing to do small jobs. Springfield Roofing was. Great price. Will use Springfield Roofing again as my first go-to next time I am in need of roofing work.

Ben Watson was very good. Other roofers wanted to sell me a whole new roof and said they could not pinpoint the actual issue. Ben pinpointed it, showed me pictures of the leak, gave me a price just to fix that issue, and left the ball in my court. It was effective and positive. Sadly I will need a new roof in the next few years. Fortunately, I feel I have found the roofer for that job.

My roof was 25 Years old when 70 mph winds and rain hit us in November 2023. The storm ripped off two dish satellite antennas leaving holes in the roof. I needed Immediate action and protection. Because four other houses used Springfield Roofing & Sheetmetal for a new roof on our 1977 houses, I knew my time for a new roof would come and I knew Springfield Roofing was the best in Northern Virginia. I had called them almost five years ago to install a new roof they cam and inspected the roof and said nothing is wrong and they told me my roof had many years of life and did not charge for the inspection. Wow, Honesty! Now, I need action. Ben Watson the sales rep can out said yes to an immediate repair and did it. He made a detailed inspection and took pictures showing me all the week spots (Bad Boards) and potential problem areas which I expected and knew. I signed a contract for a premium roof with a 25-year warranty. Ben Watson was present when the USSAA insurance assessor came. The new materials came, the old thin roofing boards were removed, and new ½ boards installed. New venting system meeting state code installed. Special bonding was impressively installed around chimney, sky lights, and vents received special bonding. New gutters installed and other gutters aligned. All gutters were cleaned and new leaf guards installed on old and new gutters. We are impressed by the professionalism of this family-owned small company, the professional supervision present all day, and the careful craftsmanship of the installation crew. (Note I was a roofer in 1975). We were very happy with how clean everything was on the job site, the diligence, and attention to detail of workmanship especially the improved venting system and special roof sub layering which will reduce our heating and air conditioning cost. Our house roof system has been totally upgraded with quality products and quality workmanship end to end. I love the new friendly internet system for status, payment, email, and updates; well done. I used Springfield Roofing to replace both the roof at our first house, and to replace the roof at our new house after we moved and I'm glad I did. The roof replacement at our old house held up amazingly well for the 7.5 years we lived there with no issues at all. For our new house, we had a pretty complicated roof with multiple sections of different types (metal, flat membrane, and shingle) and they handled them all! I had a few questions about some minor details and my main contact was responsive and very helpful. On top of the roof, we had some wood siding replaced as well and the team did a great job. I'd definitely recommend Springfield Roofing, as the team did a great job for a very reasonable price based on the other quotes I received.

I was told the workers worked independently and didn't require interaction with me, the homeowner. This was 100% true but to ensure I was aware of their actions, on two occasions they notified me that for a short while my exit through my front door would be blocked, which was timely in both instances. JC and his team were super responsive to an emergency we had with our roof while we were out of town. They patched the holes…until we heard from our insurance. After a recent storm, a huge tree branch had fallen on my roof and left a hole and some other additional damage. Within an hour of calling Springfield, Ben came out to give an estimate. Ben was fantastic to work with, didn't try to upsell me "for insurance to pay for it", and was clear and direct about the issues. He was also gracious enough to tack up some leftover roofing felt to cover the holes/damage to make my roof watertight until they could come do the repair. After sending an estimate and paying the deposit (all through their online portal), they scheduled a crew for 2 days later. Crew (Ishmael and Christian) was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable (and happy to teach me a few things!). Overall, very pleased with this company and how easy they were to work with - will definitely be recommending to friends and neighbors!

Hired Springfield Roofing to repair my Skylight. Was leaking into my family room ceiling. Came out and identified the problem. Sent me the estimate that day. Crew came out as scheduled. Took off the old Skylight and replaced the old curb and remounted the Skylight and installed new flashing and shingles. No more leak. Cleaned up the work area. Did a great job. Very personable. Explained all that they were doing. Very pleased.

Andre Kacz came out immediately to examine the damage to our roof causing a leak. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. He provided an immediate estimate and had his crew out immediately following my authorization. The crew (Chico) was also on time and professional. Highly recommended.

Follow-up post. Springfield Roof replaced our roof and fixed damage due to a fallen tree. Highly qualified, professional and prompt. They were always available to answer my questions and took steps to document the damage and repair for the insurance company. Contract and payment are all conducted electronically making the process painless and efficient.
