We needed new roofs for our house and detached garage and decided to get several estimates. Our first estimate was scheduled with Spicer Bros. and Matthew Wallace was the consultant who came to our home. We were expecting a high-pressure sales pitch, but thankfully, the meeting was nothing like that at all. Matthew was professional and knowledgeable, yet easy-going and friendly. There was zero pressure and he made us feel comfortable and at ease. When he quoted us a price many thousands fewer than we were expecting to pay, we decided right then and there to forego further estimates and sign a contract with Spicer. Matthew's trustworthy "vibe" had a lot to do with our decision-making, along with the impressive 15-year repair warranty. The shingle itself has a 50-year warranty. Wow!

The day of the replacements went well and the polite, hardworking crew got the job done, both house and garage, plus clean-up, in 10.5 hours. We were amazed at their speed and efficiency! Brandon Riggin was the project manager and it was obvious that the overall smoothness of the day was due in large part to his adept management of all the many moving parts. He communicated well, and he was personable and easy to talk to. Upon realizing our garage had an extra layer of old shingle that we were previously unaware of, he immediately informed us there would be a slight increase in cost, so we wouldn't be surprised at the end of the job. We couldn't be more pleased with the end result! Our new roofs are beautiful, and much less expensive than we had expected. Thank you, Spicer Bros.! From start to finish everything went great! New roof and new gutters look fantastic. This was the second project I used Spicer Bros for, first was a bathroom shower remodel and everyone was professional yet again.

Joe E. was a pleasure to work with during the sales process. He explained the product, pricing, warranty and job clearly. Brandon R. came to my house telling me how the installation would be done and what his expectations were for his crew. The day of the installation he arrived before the crew and stayed till he was satisfied with their progress on the roof replacement. He came back later that day to check on their progress. He updated me during each visit. After completion Brandon stopped to check on the finished product. He was pleased with the roof replacement and site clean up. Before I could bring it up, Brandon pointed out that he wasn’t satisfied with the reinstall of my gutter guards. He said he would address the issue to resolve it. New roof looks great. Joe and especially Brandon did a great job. Quality at a fair price. Thank you!

Had Spicer Brothers renew my roof recently. The customer service and satisfaction that came with that was truly amazing! I thought that dealing with such a large company, you would not be treated very well. Boy, was I totally wrong.
I was fortunate to have the “ A “ team with my roof renewal. Specifically, I want to shout out to Project Manager Brandon Riggin. Nothing was a problem for him, at all. Answered all of my questions and made sure everything went smoothly and to my satisfaction, which sometimes I can be a pain in the neck. He never got flustered, a true professional. Then there is the Gutter Helmet crew, consisting of Charles and Joe. They both went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You gentlemen are a credit to the Corporation!! No doubt!
It’s too bad my roof will last at least 30 years, would do it again in a heartbeat. Maybe in 2055, we’ll see.

Having owned a plumbing contracting company in DC for thirty years, I understand the attention to details. The crew that did our roof, headed up by project manager Brandon Riggin did everything right. Our extensive landscaping around the house was protected and not one plant was damaged. Besides the beautiful new roof install, the thing that stood out the most, was the clean up after completion. The roof was finished at sunset, so clean up was done well into the darkness. The next morning, it was next to impossible to find even a nail in the garden beds. Absolutely incredible that they accomplished this with hand held lights.
I do have to give accolades to Brandon who is a hands on PM, the kind of person that makes a company look great. Communication is the #1 skill that my company taught, and Brandon has that gift.

Our experience with Spicer Bros. was very good. They replaced our entire roof after storm damage. Since we are a church our roof was fairly large, Spicer has the manpower to handle these buildings. I just had a new roof installed by Spicer Brothers. The experience was top notch. I was nervous as this was my first roofing experience. Chris who was leading the work walked me through the process, and was able to answer any question I had. The crew were experienced and did a great job. Even in the extreme hot weather they managed to stay in good spirits.

I was thinking as the old shingles were coming down, the area around my house would look like a war zone, but Chris has a nice system of "clean and go" as the work progressed. I was very impressed and very happy with the work, and with the end result.
When they were done and I walked outside to see the finish, I can't describe the wow factor I experienced. It wasn't just a new roof, it was a new home!

We had gutter helmets installed by a company that is no longer in business. Spicer Bros. has continued service on this installation to help us with the warranty provided at the time of purchase. When we experienced an issue, I called and was immediately scheduled for an appointment. The gentlemen arrived on time as scheduled, were polite and efficient. At the conclusion, they explained what they found, how the remedied the issue and how we can try and avoid other issues and maintain the gutter helmets on our own and/or with their assistance. I was very pleased with the service received, will continue to use them for this purpose and others if necessary. Please consider Spicer Bros. if you find yourself in need!

Just had my roof replaced by Spicer Bros and I'm very pleased with their service and cleanliness. The crew was on time to start the job and they were finished in two days. The crew went above and beyond with their clean up. They restacked bricks and my tarp that I had covering my roof and they did an excellent job cleaning up the yard as well as my driveway. I would recommend that if you need roof service, call Spicer Brothers.

If you want a professional roof install along with a pleasant experience , Spicer Bros. Is the company for you. From Dustin coming out to give an estimate to Jake, the supervisor of the roof installation, we were kept in the loop about everything. Our install took two days due to the fact the front was done one day and the back the next. Also the job was pushed back due to the five days of rain but Spicer Bros notified us in ample time of the install date change and rescheduled us immediately. A couple of things came up during install but Jake handled everything immediately and communicated with us what they were. We deeply appreciated Jake’s communication throughout the install and the fact he and the crew did not leave both days until we had walk around and made sure all was good.I usually do not do reviews but did so because a new roof install is a major project and cost. I strongly recommend that when getting roof estimates, include Spicer Bros. If you go with Spicer, I recommend Dustin for the estimate and Jake for the install.

We had purchased Gutter Helmets before Spicer Bros. Construction took over. During a storm one of our panels blew off. Spicer Bros. came and did the warranty work. They came within a few days, showed up on time and were very professional while fixing our Gutter Helmets. Highly recommend this business!!!

Dustin was our sales rep and we were very impressed with his knowledge of your product. He also remembered some things we discussed that didn’t make it on the contract but the company is honoring. Jake was the foreman for putting up our new roof. His team arrived promptly and worked continually until evening and then returned promptly the next morning to finish up. The professional pre-meeting sold us. They took the time to look at all the issues with our roof. Such as what & why skylight/pipes/ dish antenna needed to be removed and easily got us a reasonable quote on gutter filters that were put in the same week. I am glad I was there the day of the roofing. We had to inform the foreman what was in the contract to remove since he and the laborers did not seem to be aware of this. Otherwise they did a good job. Thanks.

I had new windows installed on the west wall of my home to let in more light into my living room.
The crew arrived on time on the day of installation, began work and the only hold up was contacting an electrician to unexpectedly move 2 electrical outlets. Construction was started on a Friday, boarded up for the weekend, then finished on following week when the electrician came to move the 2 outlets.
I have had the necessary dry wall work completed and have painted window wall.
It has added so much more light to west end of living room, it is amazing the difference it makes!!!
All I need to do now is schedule the shade/blind installation.

Spicer Construction handled a very difficult to find - and very difficult to install - window in our 20+ year-old custom home in Lewes. Steve and Wesley worked non-stop for two days, stopping only briefly for lunch, to remove and install the new window.

The installation was accomplished with great precision, and left no damage to surrounding walls. Everything looks as if it was the original construction.

They also cleaned up the work site completely and quickly.

We were very pleased with Spicer Bros. Dustin was our sales person. He is very knowledgeable. It was a very pleasant experience working with him. The workers arrived early on the day of the installation and were finished about 3 pm. They cleaned up the site very well. Supervisors were on the job and took pictures of every aspect of the job.
