Mike went above and beyond for us when we realized our roof was leaking. They squeezed us in over a long weekend. The quote was fair and his crew did an excellent job. They fixed some flaws in the design of our roof to prevent issues in the future. Highly recommend!

I normally do not do many reviews but felt this one was well deserved. Spartan roofing just replaced the shingles on our roof this past week. What a great team! It was a pleasure to have Michael’s crew here doing the work for us. They were very efficient , polite, and , professional. At the end of each day they walked around the house as well as checking the neighbours property for any debris. I had contacted Michael for a roofing quote last summer, and after getting multiple quotes, I decided to go with Spartan Roofing as it was the most professional experience I've received, and the quote was very well priced and competitive. We decided to schedule the roofing for this year (2025) as it was nearing the fall season, and Michael was on top of things and came by with roofing samples this year. My new roof is now completed, and my expectations were actually exceeded. I've seen new roofs installed around my area, including my next door neighbour. The roofing company they used was well liked and recommended in our community, but I did not use them because they caused SUCH a mess on my property, and even caused damage (which they fixed but it was not pleasant seeing their roofers damage your property). I immediately knew that I would not use that company, and I decided what standards I wanted in the one I hired. Michael and his crew were SO careful to tarp and cover everything, and not cause a mess on my property, or to the adjacent ones. They were very professional and respectful. I also found their workmanship to be top notch, and I could not be happier. I have a large home, which took several days, and they worked around the typical unpredictable lower mainland weather. Even my dog was super happy (and he's not usually good with banging etc). I was able to work at home during the entire process. I am very pleased, and would recommend Michael and his crew in a heart beat.

Michaels professionalism came through when he came to look at the roof to give me an estimate. He not only inspected the roof but he went back up and caulked a couple of cracks in my vents before getting the job. The estimate was the most comprehensive that I received from any other company. Our strata had some issues of dishonesty with a different contractor's quote for a roof leak. We contacted Spartan Roofing instead, as they were already working in our neighborhood on a different project, and got the leak fixed.

Michael also identified that we had the same problem for the other units and took the steps to help us prevent further damage by making those repairs as well. The other contractor didn't even mention the other units had problems which would have had led to further roof leaks and extra costs for the strata.

I called Spartan Roofing early this year and they responded very quickly. I was looking for quotes for replacing my asphalt shingled roof. I called probably 8 different companies. All the quotes were fairly similar. However, Michael’s at Spartan Roofing was by far the most competitive. He past on his knowledge and shared his thoughts on what he thought I should do. Other companies had similar suggestions so I felt comfortable with his knowledge. His honesty and I will be honest his price was what sold me at the end of the day. He gave me his best price up front. Where some of the others said if they did my house and others followed suit they would give me a discount. Any questions I had he was happy to reply fairly quickly even on the days he wasn’t working. I would recommend him and his team based on my experience with Spartan Roofing. Spartan roofing was able to fix our strata’s complex’s rooftop issues and recommend further preventative maintenance items needing attention. He was quick at responding to a leak and offered way better pricing than other companies. They offered good quality product at a great rate. I definitely recommend them for all strata complexes and houses. Michael is very kind and knowledgeable and best of all is local in surrey. You can tell if a contractor truly cares about the customers or if they are only in it for the money. Michael from Spartan Roofing has good customer service which shows he truly cares. I had a very positive experience with this company. The gentleman came out instantly, went up, said it only required a quick fix and did it. He was super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. My roof has not leaked since! I could not have asked for anything more!

Michael has excellent customer service. He provided us with an inspection and report on our current roof and offered a number of very price competitive options. Not only that, he has a lot of integrity. While working on a neighbor's roof (not ours) an employee backed his truck into our fence damaging it. Michael made sure the fence got repaired even though the employee did not realize he did it. I would not hesitate to recommend Spartan to a friend or neighbor. In fact they replaced the roofs on at least three of our next door neighbors homes all to great satisfaction.

After big wind storms I noticed 2 panels at the peak of my metal roof were at weird angles. I called Michael who came the next day to examine the roof. He climbed up and bent the panels slightly so that they interlocked correctly again. He explained the situation to me and said there would be no charge. I called Spartan Roofing about a wind damage repair. Very small but necessary job. Michael said he would come by later that same day which he did. He saw the damage and immediately went to work. A couple weeks ago we discovered a minor leak in our roof and went to our local FB community page to look for recommendations on who to call to come and have a look. The vast majority of people were highly recommending Spartan Roofing, so I reached out and set up an appointment for them to come have a look. One of Michaels employees came out in the evening, after working late in to the night the night before. He hopped up on my roof and did some investigating. It was dark and rainy out, so I didn't expect him to be able to see too much, but he came back with some info for us and said he'd talk to Michael and get back to us with a quote. A couple days later Michael showed up to check the colour of our shingles as they decided we needed to replace a few, and he too gave my entire roof a look over and gave me the bad news that my roof was needing replacement. I figured it was coming up, but was hoping to get a few more years out of it. Such is life! The next day Michael came back out gave the leaky area another once over and found an issue that he could fix and went right to work. He patched a few holes, and added a few other things (I'm not a roofer, so not sure what they were called), and then left, saying that I should be good to go for a while longer. No bs and no trying to rip us off. We find it hard to trust companies nowadays as everyone seems to be out to make a buck, no matter what the cost to the other person. Things are hard right now for a lot of people and Spartan roofing just made it a little easier for us. We can't thank them enough for what they did for us and when it comes time to replace the roof, hopefully not too soon, they will be the only company we call. There is no need to go elsewhere! I just want to give a big thank you Michael at Spartan Roofing for repairing the leak on our coach house roof. He contacted me as soon as he saw that I was looking for a roofer. We set up an an appointment for him to come look at the leak on Tuesday and it was repaired by Friday. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything. Did his due diligence by also checking the roof on our main house as well. His quote was very reasonable and affordable. We will definitely use him in the future and highly recommend him to others.

We had Michael Mission come out to check on a roof leak situation on the back of our home that led into the attic. He fixed a simple error that was done by the roofers that was causing a leak during the rainy seasons. He was fast, knowledgeable and efficient in his solution. While he was up there he saw another builders error and sealed up a second problem we didn’t even know we had. If you are in need of a roofer I would give him a call for all your roofing needs.

My roof was 24 years old and I knew that the cladding on my two chimney chases was in bad shape. I contacted several roofing companies but Michael at Spartan was the only one willing to do the whole job. Before making a final decision I spoke with an individual who had his roof replaced by Michael. He told me he was very happy with the work and the only problem he had was chasing Michael down to pay him. This individual also mentioned that Spartan had replaced a roof across the street and that the work had originally been contracted to Penfolds but that they had subcontracted the work to Spartan. I had also been talking to Penfolds but their quote was roughly 50% higher than Spartan's for the roof portion alone. Spartan was clearly the best choice.

I decided to go with the Landmark PRO shingles and I am glad I did. They are a heavier shingle as evidenced by the difficulty in cutting them. I was impressed with the work ethic of the crew. It was difficult to get them to take a break even though it was quite hot.

The main chimney chase was clad in channel cedar and was roughly 25 feet high. The original builder had not flashed the top of the chimney and when Michael pulled the bottom siding off it was clear that the base structure was totally rotted and that all the plywood and siding on two sides had to be replaced. He dove right in, fortified the structure and replaced the plywood and siding and ensured that it had proper flashing so the problem would not happen again. All of this was done by ladder from sloped ground - truly amazing!

I am very happy with the quality of work done and I have no reservation in recommending Michael and Spartan to my friends and family. I feel lucky to have found him.

I had bird nest in the attic above the porch area. Michael came to fix the hole of the roof and cleaned up the nest. Great service, and Michael is very easy to work with as well. Definitely recommend!

Christmas eve it became evident we had a leaking roof, Kindly Mike answered the phone and made time Boxing day to actually come and see the damage. He actually did a little bit to mitigate the damage right away. Once the weather allowed he scheduled time to come and fix my roof right away. I would definetly reccomend these guys

We did roof installation this June because of the black mold in our washroom shingles. They did it super quick within 2 days. and the roof quality looks good. Price is fair enough, and the owner Michael is a nice guy. I would like to recommend this roofer to the people who need this service.
