My shingle roof was 29 years old with a couple signs of damp plywood inside the attic and the insurance company was starting to send letters about pro-rating claims on old roofs so I gave Coast Mountain Roof a call. A representative came out and explained what they would do to bring things up do date with ventilation etc. and then met us at a shingle distributors to help pick a shingle model and color. Coast Mountain roof were able to work around my schedule to get a team out to do a great job on the installation which included replacing a section of plywood that a family of squirrels had chewed through the year before. The team cleaned up the roof, gutters and yard nicely after they were done. The roof looks great.

Back in 2018 we hired them to replace our roof and were very pleased with the experience. Last week in a short rain, we were super surprised to have a leak in our bathroom, nothing crazy but water was definitely coming in our house.

After 7 years, I called Coast Mountain, and it took them seconds to bring up my account, and within 1 minute was off the phone with someone dispatched to my house. That person arrived within 2 hours, and was super friendly and professional, jumped on the roof, took a look at the attic (I had a bunch of pics already).

It turns out it was super minor, luckily it was a build up of debris at a vent. He cleared it out, applied additional caulking, done.

I wanted to call these guys out because every step of the way they have been great. Professional, and super responsive. Our roof looks great after 7 years.

These guys cut off 3 different vehicles swerving in traffic on Burrard with no signal light, nearly causing two accidents including with me having to skid to stop and missing them by inches. Licence plate WB-5340. I don't know if they are drunk, but they have no business on the road, and I would suspect that kind of behaviour carries through to their work.

Our property was being used for some filming of a Netflix television show and I was worried that we weren't going to have the roof done in time. CMR took this very seriously and showed up with a crane and double crew to attack the job on day 1. The whole neighborhood showed up and wanted to know who was doing our roof! The work was safely completed (job site secured and everyone tied off) and my property was left very clean. I have a toddler and dog and neither have since found anything that could get them into trouble. Would highly recommend this crew again. Priced right and job done right.

I was recommended Coast Mountain Roof amongst many others when I had an emergency. Water was dripping into the basement bathroom. Of those who were recommended I called them all. None responded as quickly as CMR. I think the most important person in that company is Treana Pybus, Project Admin, I believe. Her demeanor over the phone clinched me given CMR the business. To top it, Treana, 'harassed' me the next morning (in a positive way). She called, texted, emailed, messaged, from 6am. She was able to 'snuck in' (her words) Troy and Bruno to come in at 8am to check out my issue. They fixed it. Overall, from start to finish - leak stopped in 36 hours. Troy was a very amiable guy, it was a pleasure to meet him and in the few minutes of interaction I knew we were in good hands. Tony arrived to my house on time. Took a lot of pictures to show me the various issues that needed to be addressed on the roof. Gave me options. Jack Hickman and the site supervisor, John, did a great job of organizing the arrival of materials, preparing the roof, replacing plywood and shingling our roof. Prompt onsite communications as well as email, text and phone were very much appreciated. John did an excellent job of organizing the day to day workflow and kept me apprised of each day’s progress.

Everyday the worksite was left clean and tidy. The crew was punctual and polite, worked very hard, and put in long hours. I also want to put in a shout out and a thank-you to Tony and Jaden, who worked very hard and put in the extra effort to complete the insulation in our.

I am so grateful for the excellent work that Jaime and Joseph from CMR did at my house on Oct. 19 when water was dripping from my kitchen ceiling into the room during the atmospheric river storm.

They were meticulous in finding the source of the leak in the attic, and they were conscientious when getting onto the roof in the rain and at dusk to seal the problematic vent. WOW!

Tony and Christian did a great job repairing a leak in my roof. They arrived on time, diagnosed the leak, repaired it and also took time to explain why the leak occurred.

These guys are our go to roofing contractor for many years and always do great work. I wanted to make a special mention to the service crew; namely Tony and Parker. These two gentlemen recently came and did a service call on one of our projects to reseal some vents that had been damaged throughout the course of construction and went above and beyond to work with my schedule and needs to get things done in time for lock up and did it with a smile on their face. I think as a business owner it's important to recognize the boots on the ground and the fantastic work they do and so these two get the honorable mention along with the team at Coast for always taking care of us. After the most recent atmospheric river, we re-sprung a leak - no surprise given the amount of wind and rain we received. I had called Coast Mountain Roof back in 2021 to take of a massive leak that 4 other contractors could NOT solve. They were the only ones and given that, I knew when this issue came back who I would call. They let me know they were booking about 10 days out but a few days later, they had a cancellation and the crew was at my place within the hour. Tony and Daniel found two possible problem areas, sealed one and used lead lining on a cracked concrete tile. They even put the liner underneath so it's not visible from the outside. Fingers crossed these were the areas but love the service, response time and friendliness of Tony and Daniel. They took the time to explain things to me as they went along.

Foreman, Jaime Tan and team were fantastic during an emergent leak we had on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, as a result of the atmospheric river that Vancouver experienced over the weekend. Jaime kept me in the loop when he initially received the work order, and let me know when he had arrived at my property. He kept me informed throughout the job of cleaning off the debris that was clogging our roof drain, and was careful to remove his boots when investigating the effected unit. He was courteous and good humoured, despite the busy day they already had, and still had ahead of them once they finished up here. My deepest thanks to Jaime and the whole response team at Coast Mountain Roofing.

Coast was fast, efficient and had high quality in replacing our roof. In addition to addressing the roof replacement they managed another contractor to replace our old insulation which made our lives a lot easier with one contractor to work with. Coast have a great team that is very engaged and proactively addresses any and all issues. We are totally happy with the service and the result.

It was great working with Brad and his team for the re-roof of the building. During planning Brad was very helpful with the roofing options available. Once a date was established they were there on time with a full crew and got the job done quickly. The team was very organized and efficient and the quality of work was very good.

We wanted to replace the roof on our garage and asked 4 different companies for a quotation. Coast Mountain Roof offered the most reasonable price, and they were very prompt and friendly. We were told they would be able to start in one or two weeks after we paid our deposit, but it started getting wet so everything was delayed. After that, we didn't hear back from them for several weeks, and when we contacted the people we had given the deposit to, they were not available. My husband and I got worried, thinking we had been scammed, but eventually we did hear back from the company. In all, the process took a bit longer than we had anticipated, but once they arrived, the roof was replaced and we are happy with the result.

We recently had our roof replaced by Coast Mountain. Even though it was raining, the job was finished on time and with no hitches. I was impressed with the troubleshooting and with the clean up. A great team and an excellent job! Thank you.

We contracted with Coast Mountain Roof to replace the 19,200 square-foot torch-on roof for our condominium.
The whole process from quote, contract negotiation, to final installation and clean up went very well. Brad and his team were very professional and always courteous. Brad provided a number of different options during the quote process (good, better, best) and explained benefits of each which was very helpful.
Our project included installing sheet metal siding and flashing on several parapet walls. That took WAY longer than anticipated. In any event the finished product looks amazing.
I would recommend CMR to anyone looking to have a low slope torch-on roof installed and to at least include them in their bid process.

We hired Coast Mountain Roof to remove our old cedar shingle room and install a new asphalt roof and a new gutter system. The project was completed efficiently and on budget and the new roof and gutter system, which include leaf guards, looks great and adds street appeal to our home.

These guys are very professional and do great quality work in a timely fashion. (very different from my experience with 2 other roofing companies recently, one of which is now on the 3rd warranty claim!). Coast may not be the cheapest but the quality of their work is great and they are easy to deal with - you get what you pay for.

We reached out to 3 companies for quotes on a large commercial roof project. Coast Mountain came to quote within a week, the other two companies took 2 months. We went with Coast Mountain and could not be happier with the results. Brad and his team carried out the work within the time frame they quoted and made the entire project a breeze. Would recommend them to anyone.

I found their project managers Cor and Josh to be very responsive and knowledgeable, and their pricing was quite reasonable. The skilled tradespeople who attended site were professional and very accommodating. Overall it was definitely a positive experience.

I had reached out to Coast Mountain Roof about a ceiling leak in my house.

I had connected with Amanda at Coast Mountain who was very patient over the phone and explained to me the different routes I can pursue and explained the difference between the teams of employees they had whom were specialized in different areas. Amanda took the time to ensure that I understood what my options were.

I later received a call from their licensed roof inspector, Brad, who explained to me that the affected areas causing the leak was not something they specialized in and therefor would not be able to help me. Brad gave me his opinion as to what he believes the issue was and whom I should reach out to to have the problem areas fixed. Brad was very detailed with his explanation and was very helpful.

Although Coast Mountain Roof was not able to work on my project, they gave me very valuable information and was kind enough to not charge me any fees at all.

If I were to experience any roofing issues in the future, Coast Mountain Roof will be the first company I would call.

My had to replace my old my roof last year. I got a recommendation from my agent to use service from the company. Because my house has a pretty steep driveway, and there were a big load of materials to remove and bring up, I expected the project to be the most complicated given the experience I had with other contractors for smaller installations like heating and piping. However, the team hired by company did an excellent job. They were always on time although they had to travel everyday from Surrey to Lions Bay in three weeks. They just came and left everyday till the whole roof was done. The only thing they asked from me was to open my garage for power supply. The company did inspection themselves after completion and did not find any problem. I waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to make sure that I had no leakage with my new roof. It is supposed to last 40-50 years... but for now, I would recommend this company for any roofing project.

We have used Coast Mountain Roof for years. They are always prompt and professional. They rebuild our roof deck beautifully. Matching our heritage home perfectly.

I contacted Coast Mountain Roof company for getting some repairs on the roof. I informed the technician the areas on the roof which need to be fixed. To my surprise the technician went on the roof and after 5-10 minutes just left without telling me what was the issue and if the issue was fixed or not or the next steps… NOTHING. He just came down and left. I contacted the company and was told “technician’s English is not good” and “he had a long day or something”….wow….I asked for some kind of report on what was the issue and if it was fixed. All I got was couple pictures not telling me anything. I was surprised to see such unprofessional service from this company and would NOT RECOMMEND this company for any service. The company’s service rates are among the highest but quality of professional service is really POOR. Instead of sending another technician to review and complete the repair the company sent me some pictures of the roof and the invoice. Please stay away from this unprofessional company.

Brad and his team showed up on time and ready to work. The attention to detail his team used during the roofing project was awesome. They made sure to tarp off all common areas to minimize mess and speed up their daily clean up. Coast Mountain did my roof 6 years ago. I had a leak and they sent someone out next to fix the air vent. Very faster and responsive. Excellent after service.

I had a small project that needed to be done, to replace the roof on the pool mechanical room and bathroom shed, about 240 square feet of roof. Simple job. These guys actually phoned me back, and very quickly after I sent an inquiry. The very fact they were professional and courteous enough to do this was impressive, because I tried calling MANY roofing companies, and most simply did not phone me back, or just didn't seem interested in my smaller job and fitting that in. One of them the guys just didn't show up and was totally flaky, so I lost total confidence to use them, and chose Coast Mountain instead. And because of this, I've already mentioned their name to a couple of others who have needed large scale projects done. Communication with the office was easy, and again, they were responsive. They fit my small project in within about 3 weeks to a month I think it was. The couple of guys that came, were very polite, they did the work, and were gone in about 5 hours. Things were cleaned up, not a bunch of junk or anything laying around, so all went perfectly fine. If I have another larger project down the road, I will certainly contact these guys again, as they showed me that they can be professional and actually respond back to a potential customer that inquires about their services. Contacted CMR Company last spring to have our roof redone from cedar shingles to an asphalt shingle, with new rubber hidden gutters. They came with options, prices and worked with me on timeline. They were efficient and the onsite team was friendly, safe, and communicated well with me during the installation. Needless to say, we are very happy with our new roof and have managed to refer a few neighbors!

CMR installed our torch on roof with a Tapered Insulation Colvent Membrane about one month ago.
We were very pleased and impressed with this company from the very beginning. They advised exactly why our roof leaked and laid out how it would be fixed without having water pooling, we have a flat roof, in writing.

CMR's estimator, Brad S, was knowledgeable and did a detailed assessment of our roof, even using a ladder to inspect it. From my first conversation with Brad S I had a feeling I had found the right company. He did not sugar coat what could possibly be our issue but took the time to validate his suspicions firstly against the pictures I had supplied him. Secondly with a personal visit on a Saturday.
I felt good about his written estimate and we agreed on a scope of work. The crew of Tim and Lane walked me through their process on the first day and then marked out the areas of real concern. They clarified exactly what they were going to do and did what they needed to do.
I came home the day the work was finished and was very impressed by the work done and the clean up they had done around the outside of our home.
Time will tell how everything will hold up but the work that was agreed to was completely on time and close to the original budget. We were a bit over based on some cosmetic items i had requested.
