We have hired In Awe Roofing for two properties. Rick and his team did our first roof, gutter and fascia board in 2020 with great attention to details and we were very satisfied with the final result. So when we needed a roofer for a new property early 2025, we reached out to Rick again when he was out of town. While not sure if he could take on the project due to the short timeline we had, we also contacted another company. As soon as Rick was back home, Rick climbed up the roof and sent us detailed pictures that showed the conditions of the roof, despite the cold, windy weather. He then presented a thorough and reasonable quote. In contrast, another company also sent me their quote, but theirs was based on satellite pictures. So we decided to use Rick again and got another beautiful roof. Rick was quick to respond to questions and fix little things that we raised. Our thanks also go to Nicole for her great customer service and prompt communication.

In Awe Roofing did my entire roof back in 2022. I had some additional modifications done to the roof and used them again on a few occasions to do the work especially to keep the warranty. Have had Rick and his crew out two times for some repairs. Minor work for them I’m sure but regardless both experiences have been excellent. Very impressed with In Awe Roofing! They responded to our call in a timely manner, and Justin conducted the inspection as arranged, complete with pictures to accompany their estimate for repairs that might be needed. Extremely professional and well-run company, with pleasant and helpful staff that answer any questions regarding the process.

We have used In Awe roofing twice, and they did an excellent job correcting deficiencies in the original roofing of a new home we had purchased. They are easy to work with, and clearly communicate at each phase of the roof repair to ensure that we were happy with the results. We have not had any leaks since their repair, and we are glad that they did such a thorough job in inspecting our roof, finding all the deficiencies, and correcting them.

On Christmas Eve Day, I noticed a small stain on my ceiling. Upon inspection, I could see a little bit of water coming in via my plumbing stack. I called in Awe Roofing and since they were close by, Rick dropped by and visually inspected the roof from the ground, as the roof was covered in snow. I knew he couldn’t have a tech on the roof in snow, so I wrapped towels around the stack and called him back as soon as the snow had subsided. He quickly had a tech on site, and had our roof repaired quickly. Within a few days, I had before and after photos of the repair job. I was extremely pleased with Rick and his team. Rick responded quick and his tech was prompt, professional and courteous. I would recommend In Awe Roofing to anyone looking for a reputable roofer.

We recently purchased a house in Langley and wanted the roof and gutters inspected to be ready for winter. Rick and Nicole followed up with an estimate quickly and in detail. We had gutter guards installed after cleaning and some gutter leaks repaired. Loose shingles were repaired or replaced. Rick found that the ridge vents were actually not installed properly and that was why the attic was very warm. Proper roof vents were installed and we also had 4 telescopic skylights installed to let in some natural light to the 2nd floor. All the work were done properly by well trained roofers. I highly recommend Rick and his wife, Nicole, is looking after your roofing and gutter needs.

I had Rick and his team inspect my roof for my new build house's 1 year warranty. I was very happy with the thoroughness and quality of the report. I didn't need any roof work done, but there is no question who I will be using when the need arises.

I do have one area of concern that could result in water dams due to ice thaw and refreeze. A couple of years ago when we had a big snowfall and then quick thaw in the lower mainland, Rick's team was more than happy to come quickly and take a look and ensure everything was ok.

There's nothing worse than obtaining multiple quotes, but it just comes with the territory of owning a home. I ended up getting my roof inspected by three different companies and their recommendations ranged from "you need a new roof" to "you may need a new roof in 2-3 years." The only person to actually go on my roof and film the entire process and point out possible issues was Rick. He gave me peace of mind I wasn't being swindled and made me feel comfortable with the entire process.

Rick is the one that told me my roof still had a couple years on it so I ended up just getting my chimney cap refurbished. Rick's team did a bang up job and that's where my 5 STAR review comes into play. Thanks again Rick; see you in a few years when it's time to change the old roof.

I contacted Rick after reaching out to a number of roofing companies. Most either didn't want to deal with a job less than installing a whole new roof, or they wanted to charge quite a bit more than the work was worth. When I contacted Rick, I was expecting more of the same, but I was in for a big surprise. Rick was happy to do the job at a very fair price. His team was not able to got to us for a number of weeks and we were entering the rainy season, so Rick donated some supplies for us to temporarily cover the problem area until they could come to do the job properly. Having previously priced some of the materials he let us have for the temporary repair, I was immediately impressed with his generosity. It became time for our roof to be replaced. As anyone that has, knows it can be very costly and confusing. There are many products offered and many Companies to choose from.
We had quotes from five Companies (actually four because one never responded). The make of asphalt shingles, variations and warranties were a little overwhelming.
We chose In Awe Roofing after doing all of our homework. Cost, product, warranty and reviews of the roofing company we’re all taken into consideration.
I am very pleased to write this review as we found Rick and Nicole to be very professional, sincere and personable, during our project and beyond. We had some additional issues above a straight forward install. Rick had the right technician do the work. Rick stuck to pricing as quoted and actually did some additional work. It’s always a concern that pricing could go up because “this or that is extra”. This did not happen with In Awe Roofing. Everything that was discussed was done without surprises.

I called In Awe Roofing about inspecting my roof as I had a previous contractor replace my fascia boards and left me feeling uncertain about the workmanship. No Job too small!
I was replacing my bathroom ceiling fan that vented out through the roof of my house. Due to the size of my ducting, I needed to replace the existing roof vent for a larger one. I didn’t want to risk leaks in my aging roof, so I decided to search for professionals to do the job. After looking at some reviews for roof contractors, I liked what I read about IN AWE ROOFING and contacted them to see if they would take on a relatively small job. After contacting them by email via their website, I received a prompt reply informing me that they would be happy to help me out. Soon after I received a phone call and was provided with a fair quote. A day later I had two men promptly arrive at my home at the prearranged time. They were polite, professional and explained the details of the work they would perform. The job was completed in a timely fashion and they also provided a free inspection of my roof.

Called IN AWE ROOFING to get facia boards replaced on my house, as well as a new roof for the shop. They where very professional through the hole process. they found fix a few problems we had on our house roof, that we were unaware of. Would recommend this company! Since my last review I contacted Rick from In Awe requesting his help in remedying a minor problem that had arisen, unrelated to the original installation. Rick was happy to help and had his technician on site within a week and the issue was resolved in 20 mins. I previously gave 5 stars for the installation and equally this service call deserves 5 stars. Again, I highly recommend In Awe Roofing for both new installations and service calls.

Without any hesitation, we would highly recommend In-Awe for re-roofing or service call. We received a quote for a re-roof from Rick in June 2017, however subsequently requested the job be pushed to June 2018. Despite a an increase in the cost of the materials, Rick kept to the quote and provided a very competitive price which included the manufacturer's warranty in addition to his own. He took time to meet with us on more than once occasion to answer all our questions and ensure we felt comfortable before we committed. The work crew were pleasant, hardworking and despite the debris that results from replacing a cedar shake roof, keep our property clean on a daily basis. After the work was completed (on time), Rick dealt with any deficiencies we brought to his attention, which were minor, promptly and without hesitation. I'm very confident in the integrity of our new roof and after 25 years, it has refreshed the look of our home. I can honestly say Rick and his team are one of the best, if not the best, contractor's we have worked with in maintaining our home over this period of time.

Had been talking to the owner as my dad wanted to get a new roof. I was asked to do my research before hireing a roofer. The owner came over to my parents house twice. I called this company because of the good reviews I read on the internet and their web page but don't believe them. the contractor strung me along for a week knowing I had a leak in my ceiling. he gave me excuse after excuse. used broken down truck excuse twice. I contacted the owner who was on vacation in Mexico who assured us the contractor would be by the next day. he did not even contact me for two days. wouldn't respond to my texts. how unprofessional. I will never use this company again and I will not be recommending them. they are unreliable and lack any semblance of communication. extremely poor customer service. they will not help you with your emergency.

The owner had been out to my house and re-sealed a few areas on the roof. The next time it rained a stream of water was dripping into my house down the furnace pipes. A employee came out and basically spent 2 minutes on the roof only to say he doesn't know what is causing the water to drip inside and to basically call another roofing company. The other roofer was able to correct the issue within minutes which was the wrong product used on the first visit.

Rick and his team did a great job to replace my roof. They are professional and hard working, they care in detail when installing the new roof. After finish, my roof is like an fantastic art. Another good thing is the price they ask is fair for the job. Thank you Rick and team, I am enjoying my new roof, with no worries.

when my 20 x 18 shop began to leak from multiple locations I called all major roofing companies in the Langley area to assess the issue. All other companies told me they were too busy and declined the job out right. (I was told by the other companies that the size of the roof was too small and not in their interest to attend even for an assessment.)

I then called in awe roofing and spoke with rick. Rick acknowledged his company was very busy, however agreed to attend stating " given the size of the roof we could probably complete it between jobs in order to help you out".

Rick attended the same week and quickly determined the cause of the leak was from poor installation by the previous home owner ( some tiles were placed in straight lines, not staggered)

While i was on the roof with rick he suggested alternative options I could do on my own as a temporary cost saving solution. Rick also provided a very professional detailed quote with various options and pricing included.

With no feeling of pressure, we opted to replace the entire roof.

In awe attended our home the next week right on time. The workers were polite and completed the job in one full day (clean up included).

I inspected the roof myself the next day and noticed the metal flashing along all corners were not installed as we discussed.

Rick spontaneously attended on the same day and asked to inspect the work his employees did, prior to payment.

Rick agreed aspects of the job we're not completed to neither his or my full satisfaction and had his employees re attend to complete the job right.

In the end my roof looks way better then before, is water tight, and I am fully satisfied by both the workmanship and quality of customer care provided by in awe roofing.

It's worth mentioning Rick also went the extra mile and inspected my house roof, cleaned the gutters/ driveway of leaves and was very quick to address all my concerns.

I would have no hesitation in recommending in awe roofing to anyone I know. Customer service / satisfaction guarantee is among the best I've seen.

Although I would encourage customers to check the work themselves upon completion, I have no doubt any issue will be dealt with promptly in a professional caring manner by Rick.

Good customer service is rare and difficult to find. I am thoroughly impressed by Rick and In Awe Roofing. I had a leak I couldn’t find. It ended up being a small caulking issue. He fixed it for free. Small touch for a half hour of his time, but this is now the only roofing company I will ever use. In contrast, last time I had a minor issue, Abbsry roofing came, looked at the roof once. Said they couldn’t tell and would be back. I had to call a bunch of times. They came back, told me what was happening and that I’d get a call. No call so I fixed it myself. Night and Day. Thanks Rick. Travis.

Rick and his employees provided us with impeccable services.
They were able to come get us a quote in a very timely manner, got us pictures of the area that needed to be repaired, explained in great details what they would be doing.
Rick compared his quote to other quotes we got and explained the differences. He understood that we needed to get that leak repaired to make our roof last until the end of its useful life and not offer us the crazy repair that would last longer than the roof’s lifetime.
Even is this was not a humongous job, Rick shopped around to get us the best price for the little material we required. He even managed to charge us less than what was initially quoted as his repair guy was able to salvage some things he initially thought might be replaced.

In Awe Roofing is awesome. From the very beginning, Rick was very thorough and informative during our estimate. He wasn't pushy like other estimators we had come in before. His guys were punctual and always kept us in the loop in their process. They were also pretty clean and tidied up as much as they could at the end of the day. It was a great experience overall. Needed to have our 23 year old cedar shake roof replaced and made a few calls to get quotes. One company didn't even call us back and another took a few weeks to finally give us their estimate. Rick from In Awe Roofing called us back the same day and after going up and taking a look at our roof we had an estimate in our hands 3 days later. Note: When one of the workers was absent/sick, Rick picked up the tools and starting working on the roof to make sure the job was completed on time. Upon completion of the job, his crew cleared my entire property of debris, cleaner than its original condition.

We purchased a 30 year old home with an original roof so it was reaching the end of its lifespan. Our insurance company obviously agreed and requested that we have it replaced by a certain date to continue with our existing policy. We obtained estimates from four different roofing companies and it was an easy choice to go with In Awe Roofing. There were many things that made them stand out including the fact that they were an established, family owned company, they had numerous positive reviews, a really nice website (don't ask why that's important to me, but it is!! I like to be able to collect as much data/details as I can when making such commitments), they were very cognizant of our timeline (we received a quote within a couple of days as opposed to a week or two with the other owners), their rates were competitive and most important of all was that Rick made it clear from the get-go that he really wanted/valued our business and would work with us to ensure he secured the job. He was personable and accommodating and even when faced with some of the worst weather in recent memory and a shortage of available workers, the guys he employed were so efficient and got the job done (and done well) by the deadline we needed. Very impressed with this company and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others.

In Awe Roofing did a great job two years ago when I needed a new roof for our house. So when I needed a new roof for the garage I didn't hesitate to call Rick again.
The garage is about 20 x 30 feet, much smaller then the house, but with more rotten areas. Rick and his crew removed the old roof and all the rotten plywood. Everything was completely replaced. They installed a new shingle roof with moss preventer to keep moss from growing back.
Despite the challenges, Rick and his crew finished the project on time and on budget. He only charged me for the replacement plywood but not the labour. I also noticed his crew left the area around the garage cleaner then before. Once again, Rick did another great job and exceeded my expectations. I am happy to recommend In Awe Roofing to all friends and family.

Last summer I needed a roof done on our rental apartment building.
