I had a terrible experience with Sparkk Construction when they replaced my roof. Not only did they completely ruin my window screens, but they also left my yard a mess, with debris scattered everywhere. To make matters worse, they threatened to put a lien on my house when i was delaying payment waiting for the issues to be fixed. The lack of professionalism and disregard for my property was unbelievable. I would not recommend Sparkk Construction to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go with a company that actually values its customers and their homes.

They may be a great roofing company but the drivers are horrible. I was almost forced off the highway while sitting in traffic all because this driver used the pull off lane to try and cut the line. The driver forced his way in nearly taking off my front bumper. Please drive safe. Others lives depend on it.

TL;DR: Had roof leak, snowstorm caused water damage. Sparkk came and fixed it and made it look real nice. Some issues that caused frustration but overall Oscar, Thomas, and the team did a phenomenal job and I recommended them to my neighborhood as they are experiencing the same damage and issues I had.

Recently hired Sparkk Construction to help me resolve a roof leak on my terrace due to negligence from the contractors that initially built the roof and terrace. A recent snowstorm caused water damage inside on the drywall and I had to get that addressed.

I worked with Thomas Blesi and Oscar Albanes. Thomas Blesi came out to assess the damage and quote the work. Oscar was the project manager overseeing the repairs. I give Sparkk a 5 star rating due to their customer service and end result of the repairs to the roof as well as the water damaged areas and flooring repairs. I'll dive a bit deeper into some areas that I was a bit frustrated with but I'll structure it more as feedback for the company. The ratings below do not impact the Review rating I gave overall because the work that Sparkk did for me and the end result was top notch. Feel free to read below if you'd like.

** Communication - 4 out of 5 **

--Pros: Top notch customer service wording and respectful and professional tone all throughout the interaction. I really liked the fact that they maintained this all throughout the project even through my frustrations with it. I'm sure I was a difficult customer due to expressing my frustrations but I appreciated the way Oscar and Thomas managed that.

--Cons: Miscommunication between PM and team on what needed to be done and what the expectations were. It was frustrating for me because the teams that arrived just seemed unprepared for the job and I was not comfortable moving forward and I could not communicate with the teams doing the work due to language barrier.

--Suggestions: Somehow make sure there's documented artifacts/job profile on what the job details are with the indicated areas to address with pictures that are taken on the initial consultation so that the teams performing the repairs are on the same page as the PM. If that is how it's currently done, then that's fine but to me it felt like everyone was on different pages on what needed to be done with the home.

** Punctuality and Readiness - 3 out of 5 **

--Pros - Teams showed up on time sometimes.

--Cons - Did not feel like everyone was ready on the first go around. First consultation was a waste, no ladder was available to thoroughly inspect the roof for location of damage. Had to schedule basically two visits. First time the teams came for repair, didn't seem ready and not on the same page as what was to be done.
When multiple visits needed to be scheduled to confirm things, it was just a pain because I had to then accommodate from my work schedule to handle it. There were also multiple photos being taken on inspection and consultation visits, but I was then requested to take more photos for them due to clarity issues with the pictures.
Punctuality wise there were instances where I was waiting for 30 minutes or more when I was expecting arrival within 10 minutes as told. I get traffic and I get getting sidetracked on busy projects but just give the longer estimate at that point and give buffer for ETA.

--Suggestions - I don't have any for this. Just a frustration I'm voicing.

** Roof job - 5 out of 5 **

Great work, they fixed my issue and handled what they could handle for me and hopefully there's no more leaking.

**Water damage repair and Floor repair - 5 out of 5 **

They definitely fixed it where it does not look like it's been repaired and was left as it was before any damage.

** Cleanliness after job - 4 out of 5 **

Had to clean up a lot afterwards, they did their best with vacuuming as they could. There was still alot of drywall dust/paint dust/flooring dust around. They laid down mats to protect the floor so they really did as much as they could to reduce the dirtyness. Just goes to show how much work went on though.

Sparkk Construction may not have been the cheapest but they provided us with excellent value for the money. The job and the following cleanup were both well done. They even nearly stacked by the front door, the packages that had been delivered throughout the day. Highly recommended! Thanks!

We had a wonderful experience with Sparkk Construction. From the first time Corey Hilberath showed up the to our house he was polite and professional, he was completely understanding to how busy our schedules were and didn’t pressure us to make a commitment. He came back when we were ready and handled everything so we didn’t have to. Any questions I had or the confusion I had dealt with or adding onto the project , he was able to answer and help with. My Vent Cap blew off, and with the rain that’s in the forecast the next couple days, while going to another appointment that was on the way to my house they decided to stop by in consideration of the damage that the rain could cause to my house without that vent cap being on! After moving into an older construction house a couple of years ago it was clear that the existing roof had live its life to the fullest. The shingle was no longer even made and with the recent bout of wind storms and hail was really taking a beating.

After meeting with several roofing companies I also met with Oscar and some others from Sparkk Construction and while they weren’t the absolute cheapest their quote was very competitive, and Oscar and the rest of the crew were professional and communicative through the whole process. Fantastic customer service and did great work on our roof. We called to replace some torn shingles. Sparkk has a $1000 minimum job fee, so to make it worth our money they performed a full roof inspection, re-caulked, and sealed. Tyler was a great representative for the company and I enjoyed working with him.

Sparkk Construction is a must-hire for any roofing project. Luis Bustamante took charge of my project from start to finish and worked with the insurance company to get the claim over the finish line after it was denied initially. Sparkk was excellent with answering all of our questions and keeping us updated with the status of the insurance claim. Once the claim was approved, Sparkk scheduled the work quickly and completed the roof replacement in a single day. During the course of the work, a few nail pops appeared in our ceiling and the Sparkk crew came and patched and painted them prior to leaving the job site. Moreover, Luis and Sparkk ensured that we were happy with the work prior to closing out the job. I would highly recommend Sparkk and Luis Bustamante.

When we had interior water damage due to a leaking roof, we reached out to a few contractors in the area. Sparkk was prompt, courteous, and able to come out within 24 hours. Thomas R. in particular was very thorough in his inspection and quickly worked with our insurance company to coordinate work to be done. They had a crew come out within a week of our call to redo our roof to prevent further leaks. The interior workers were also very efficient and produced high-quality work. Thomas was communicative throughout the whole process, and we ended up referring some friends of ours who also needed work done. We would definitely use Sparkk again! Highly recommend.

We called Sparkk when we had a bad storm do some damage to our roof. Luis came to our house, assessed the damage, and determined we should get insurance involved. After that initial call to our insurance, Sparkk and Luis handled everything! They worked with our adjuster, got us approved for a full replacement, and managed the whole claim process.

Amazing how 2 years ago they installed this roof in one day AND IT STILL LOOKS BRAND NEW. I have to say, we were a bit nervous when we discovered a leak in our roof due to hail damage. We had no idea what it would cost or how much work would be involved. Sparkk was amazing. Their customer service should be the standard that every industry follows. They were not just friendly, but very proactive in taking ownership of our roof problem and turning it into a beautiful new roof that was completed very quickly. The crew was on site for one day and the whole job was complete before they left...including cleanup !! . Every one involved in our project is a world class professional. I couldn't be happier with the result. I will happily recommend this company to anyone who needs a new roof or needs to solve any roofing problem. From start to finish, this was a very positive experience for us. Honestly I'm not used to this kind of customer service. I felt very good about how well we were treated and how beautiful the product turned out. I had a leak in my roof which is close to 30 years old and I’m interested in getting a new roof. I called 3 contractors to come out and take a look and of the 3 Sparkk Construction was the only one that came out, prepared with materials to sit down and discuss, which was extremely helpful. The representative I worked with, James Brown, was absolutely an awesome young man. He’s prompt , time conscious and if running past the time he gave me, he would text to let me know how much longer it will take before he arrives. He is patient and very interested in
making sure that I understood the materials that I was going to purchase and the quality of it. On the day of my roof replacement, they gave me a window of 6:50 am to 7:15 am for time of arrival and they arrived at 7:10 am. The workers were very pleasant very professional. They got to work immediately and the work pretty much was completed within 3 to 4 hours. Everything was cleaned up and taken away. I’m very pleased with my new roof. It looks great! I would highly recommend this company based on my experience with their professionalism, timeliness and genuine customer care.

We were fortunate enough to have friends recommend Sparkks Construction to us recently to replace our siding. It was a large project (2 stories, many angles) involving the removal of very old cedar siding, replacing it with new Certainteed house wrap, insulation, and vinyl siding. The crew was amazing! They were extremely professional, very skilled, very personable, and well-organized. They worked in complete harmony with one another, efficiently, which was amazing to see. In addition to being certified by the manufacturer on how to install the product, which they obviously knew how to do perfectly, they showed impressive carpentry skills when the removal of the old siding revealed areas of needed repair. We were in awe of their ability to quickly and expertly make the repairs.
On top of this, managers Carlos and Oscar impressed us greatly with their attitudes. We truly believe they were as concerned with making sure our project was successful as we were. Their attention to detail and the high standards they set for themselves really set them apart from any other contractors we have ever used. Additionally, they were incredibly helpful when it came to working with another contractor whom we had hired to install motorized awnings on the outside of the house. Sparkks kindly coordinated with them and made sure the siding was in the correct condition for that installation (in the middle of their siding installation)! True professionals, and a delight to work with.
The result was that the entire experience was just wonderful, and much easier on us than we expected. Carlos and Oscar are, in our opinions, the rock stars of the siding/roofing industry! We will be recommending them to all our friends and family, and hope to be able to do business with them again in the future. While the review scale here is between 1 and 5 stars, we would give them 100 stars if we could. They earned them!

They did a fabulous job on my new roof, new siding, new gutters, new soffit and fascia covered, new shutters, they even re-roofed my small shed to match my house! Highly recommend Sparkk Construction!!!

I recently hired Carlos and Oscar (Sparkk Constructions) to construct a concrete patio in my backyard. While I found both Carlos and Oscar to be a personable and professional individual to work with, I am disappointed with the quality of the work. The patio had multiple cracks right from the beginning, which led to the need for a reconstruction. Even after the second attempt, the cracks reappeared, and the overall quality of the patio remains unsatisfactory.

I appreciate their efforts and willingness to address the issues, but the repeated problems with the construction have left me dissatisfied with the end result. It's unfortunate that the patio did not meet the expected standards despite the positive interaction with them.

I had old aluminum siding on my house and needed repairs. The Sparkk team came by and gave me a free inspection on my siding plus my roof! I appreciated their honesty with the quote and didn’t feel like they were trying to up charge me like other companies did before. I was very pleased with the install process and am loving the new look of my home! Sparkk Construction exceeded our expectations on our recent Roof Replacement. Alex who was our job lead (liaison) was with us every step of the way from helping us file our Insurance Claim, meeting with our Insurance Adjuster, scheduling the roof replacement, following up with Insurance with completion invoice/photos, and through the Insurance payment process. Luis, Carlos, Oscar and their team made this process of dealing with our home owner's insurance company so easy and provided all the documentation required to get the replacement covered by our insurance company. They were consummate professionals answering all of our questions. The team replaced our roof in one day and left the outside of our home clean as if they had never been there. Who wants a new roof, paid for the insurance company?! This guy! Yup, I also was a little skeptical at first, I mean my roof is 22 years old! But I did lose a few shingles during the last wind storm and they told me they could get it approved to be covered by my insurance company. Turns out, they did it!!! Andrew, their estimator, did an incredible job getting this thing done! He communicated with my insurance company, met the adjusters and inspectors, and stayed on it during the process! I does take some time so be patient, and you will be rewarded with a free roof! Not only that, the quality of the work they perform is fantastic!

On the day of the install, 100% covered by the insurance, I was so pleased with their crew! Oscar, one of the other estimators came out and supervised and did an amazing job! He has a sweet truck as well! Lol. Anyway, they were super respectful, made sure to clean everything up down to the very last nail, and left me 100% comfortable with a job well done! They even gave me a warranty for the workmanship should there ever be any issues in the future! They installed top of the line architectural shingles and special tar paper that is a serious upgrade to the shingles that I did have!

Sparkk Construction makes dreams come true. My parents have been looking to get their roof done for a while now, but any time we had companies come out and look, they didn’t want to go the extra mile because we have State Farm and they’re notorious for not helping their homeowners. Well in my case, it was the easiest and most painless process I’ve gone through because they handled everything for me and got it done. They met up with my insurance agent to point out all the damages up there and held them accountable. You can see that these contractors actually care about helping others and will go the extra mile to get it done. The Owens Corning shingles look amazing and my dad can’t get enough of the compliments he’s getting! Thank you to Ryan and Alex for getting this done for us, even on your days off, and most importantly thank you Sparkk!! I can’t stress enough how highly I recommend this company.

Sparkk construction has performed multiple projects for me and my church in the last year. Two of the projects involved insurance claims. They were able to navigate all the hoops and hurdles that the insurance companys require. They were very professional and the work was excellent. I just used Sparkk Construction again. This time for the roof on my main house. I noticed part of a shingle in my front yard after a wind event. I called Carlos since I had dealt with him before and had such a positive experience. He noticed not only wind damage but some hail damage from a prior event. He helped me to file a claim with my insurance company and a meeting with the adjuster was coordinated. Carlos met with the adjuster and after some exchange with the insurance company, we now have a brand new roof installed by Sparkk Construction. Cesar and his crew did a great job performing the work. Cesar showed and explained to me some additional discoveries that they took care of during the installation. It was all a very positive experience.

I am very pleased to write this review for Sparkk Construction. From my initial discussion with the sales coordinator, James, to the roofing inspector/project manager, Carlos.... these guys and their roofing installation crew worked like a well-oiled machine. Carlos and his guys climbed-up on to my roof, photo-documented their findings, and created a detailed report. They fully explained the process of my roof replacement and they answered all of my questions at our initial meeting, and throughout the whole process. They were very responsive via email, mobile phone, and texts. Communication was easy. The pictures they captured identified damage. With my permission, they took the helm and explained the damage to my insurance company with me present. Then, they made themselves available for the insurance inspector, to ensure that all areas of damaged were identified. Once the insurance inspector submitted their report to the insurance adjuster, an insurance check was released, minus depreciation and the deductible. Sparkk Construction was a great experience from, James, to Carlos, to the respectful roofing workers on-site. Once we gave the go ahead, they were ready to schedule the work within 5 days. The day before the work was to start, all of the roofing material was delivered and placed on the roof and in the driveway. The following morning, they were on site at 7:30am and started shortly thereafter. The roofing project was completed just after sundown, all in a day. Sparkk Construction also insured that all materials new and old, were cleaned up and hauled away, like they were never there. I am happy to refer this company and their roofing services. If you're looking to replace your roof, you need look no further than Sparkk Construction! They performed a comprehensive inspection of my roof, took photos of the hail damage, and shared their findings with me. When the adjuster came to follow-up on my insurance claim, Sparkk was onsite (they arrived an hour early), set-up a ladder, and ensured the damage they observed was also witnessed by the adjuster. Once my claim was approved, they scheduled my roof replacement within a week and completed the job in one day. Throughout the entire process, they were highly-responsive, very patient, and extremely helpful. Their customer service is outstanding and I cannot recommend them enough! Do yourself a favor and (at least) speak with them before making a final decision on a company to replace your roof.

I didn’t know who would be the right person to go to my roof. When I contacted Sparkk construction they responded super quick and they were super professional. Walked me through the whole process and were super honest. They came and inspected my room and showed me the damages that were on my roof. They immediately took matters into this and got a whole new roof. I was so satisfied that I sent them to my mothers home and they did an excellent job as well. Totally recommend!
