Best quality and professional service, wouldn’t be happier than what I am right now with my roof, thank you spanaway roofing

So, I'm/We are so excited about our beautiful!!! new roof, I'm not sure where to begin. I guess I should start with the fact that they are fulfilling their companies, Vision. They were right on target with their mission as well. I live in Spanaway, and so I was honestly reluctant to choose a company that wasn't established over (30 years ago). I thought maybe I should go with an "old school" company that thousands of people had used. However, something told me to just call them and see what they can do for me. I was planning to paint my home this month and so I saw a picture online, and I wanted to add grey shingles. Although they were a roofing company, my current roof is 19 years old, and I really just wanted a quote for shingles. I called and Julia, answered the phone. She was very patient, easy to talk to, she took down all my additional information correctly regarding how and where to access or home. Julia assured me that they would be able to do it, and so we made an appointment for Jimmy, the owner of the company to come by and take a look.
Jimmy arrived on time. He told me that he was certain that I would be happy with the finished product. I happened to mention several of my neighbors were getting their roof done this summer. I told him we were considering possibly having ours done as well, in the next year of two. However, we discussed the price increase of materials in the next few years, and he had roofing samples in his truck-so I decided to give it additional consideration, right there in my driveway.
Afterwards, and he agreed to send me prices for the shingles and the roof replacement. I wasn't fully "sold" on the color board that accompanied the sample, and I was concerned the roof might look more black, and white, more so, then the grey look I was "going for." I called Jimmy at his office, and he returned the following day upon my request so that me and my husband could see the sample again in varying places in the garage and in the driveway, and on the sidewalk. He was patient when I asked if he could stick around so that I could go grab my paint cards, to see how my future house colors might look with the sample.
The contracts were sent to us, we were able to agree and settle on a price, after a brief communication. We paid half up front, and half in the end. Jimmy surprised us with two Brand New Sky lights and the chimney flutes were matched to accessorize my new future paint color. We were thrilled! The crew came fully prepared, they were hard working, they worked efficiently, and a steady pace. They cleaned up all the mess the debris that was made, in all phases. The crew arrived together, on time, with their lead person. Jimmy was also there in the beginning, the middle and the end. It actually only took them two days. The first day they started Jimmy kept me and my husband "up to speed" on what they were doing and why. When my husband asked if he could take care of minor concerns, he was accommodating.
We look forward to working with them next, on the shingles project and some small siding changes, once the house is painted. I even called Jimmy first thing this morning, to ask if it was too soon to power wash the home this week. He referred us to a local paint company, that also gave us an accessible/reasonable estimate. In no aspect of this transaction, were "corners cut".
Spanaway Roofing is most certainly living up to their Mission, their Values, and Objectives. My Sister drove up to the house yesterday, and said "why are you painting the house, the new roof looks so nice, and it makes your house color that you have now really pop"...she's right. I could leave it. If I leave it though, I would regret not seeing what else these guys can do to make my house look even more amazing. I've already got two compliments from my neighbors. So would I recommend Spanaway Roofing to my neighbors and community. MOST DEFINITELY!!!! TRUST ME, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!! P.S I will try to submit before and after pictures to their account for them to post in the future. Sincerely, Proud US Army retirees.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
