Broussard Home Services: Roofing and Remodel

I hired Broussard for a complicated project for my home. This was my second big project with Broussard. It involved roofing, carpentry, window installation, structural changes, decking and railing. They did a solid job. I would recommend.

Phillip is a wonderful man to work with and really goes out of his way to ensure a job is done right! Broussard Home Services are so good at what they do, that you'd be silly to look anywhere else. This dedicated team will have your project looking better than you ever planned or expected! Give them a call and tell them Kevin sent you! I promise, you won't regret it!

We had our roof done by Broussard home services and the guy came out and talked with me about what needed To be done and one of the things was water damage to the osb sheets well I was told that all sheets that were compromised would be replaced. After it was done my roof looks like it's got waves in it I told the guy and he said let it settle and let the heat of summer make it sit right well I have done that and now you can see where almost every truss is underneath. I tried calling 3 times and I get a secretary who takes all my info down then tells me that they will have someone get ahold of me to come and look at it and Noone every does like I said this has happened 3 time with the secretary each time giving about a month to recieve any contact back. I don't like speaking negatively about anyone or a company but so far this company does not hold to its warranties and gaurantees I would like to say something positive here but I cant.

In your reply you say you called me back this is not true. And also I have a copy of the contract stating any and all damaged sheathing would be replaced. This was not done at all. If you'd like I can post a copy of it here. Or you can call me back and make this right as per the contract.

After a previous job with them which was done in a professional manner, went with a kitchen remodel and was not disappointed.

Scheduled time off of work to meet this guy for a quote. What a mistake that was! This guy is a complete waste of time. He showed up and I explained everything that needed to be done. Of which he took absolutely no written notes or measurements. Acted like he was interested and said he could do it. Said he was going to email me a quote. Waited a few days never received that quote. So i followed up via text message and phone call. But still no response, no email, no text message, absolutely nothing! If you try calling this guy it goes to some 3rd party answering service/appointment taker operator who asks you bunch of questions and only wants to schedule you an appointment. I believe 3rd party companies "telemarketers" like this get paid for every appointment they can schedule. DON'T BE FOOLED! THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE COMPANY. They will only "We will relay this information and appointment setting to the business party." DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME!

Phillip and his team did an awesome job painting my master bedroom! If you’re looking to spruce up your interior, you can’t go wrong with Broussard Home Services!

Fantastic experience, I took eight quotes and they beat them all. I love my new roof and the company warranty of 20 yrs on workmanship leaves all the others in the dust. You will not be disappointed.

My new roof was installed by Broussard Home Services a local veteran owned company in Puyallup. I was a stressed home owner with a leaky roof. After securing four bids, I made my choice. I am so happy!! Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable & professional (Gary, Kevin & Rebecca). The roofing crew was awesome. They even put the dog toys on the deck when cleaning up the yard

The service we received from Broussard was amazing. They were on time from the first meeting for an estimate through the entire project. The crew that did the work was on time, courteous and friendly. They worked really hard and did our roof in one day. The office help was also helpful, courteous and friendly. We even went to the office to pay for the roof so we could meet the staff. We would highly recommend Broussard to anyone wanting a good job done!!

The quality of work was fantastic, but project management was subpar. Even after they fired the terrible project manager who started my remodel, it was like pulling teeth to get things finished. It took almost 6 months to finish a project that should have taken 1 month.

So just keep it in mind. You will LOVE the work that gets done, but don't expect it to be done quickly. I had planned on using Broussard for more work in the future, but I just don't want to deal with poor communication and constant delays.

Our home was significantly damaged by a tree in January. At this time i did not know the extend of the damage. I was very fortunately to find Broussard Home Services to help with both coordination and the actual house repairs. Tyson Pence knew everything that needed to be done in terms of permits, working with the insurance company and coordinating with the many contractors that were needed to repair my house. Tyson was also excellent about keeping me informed all during the process and dealing with any changes or delays that came up. I highly recommend Broussard for any home repairs. I would definitely call them again if I need future work done. Thanks Tyson and Broussard.

Dylan has been wonderful and has gone out of his way and then some! He has been on time! He’s been a few minutes early each time! When he says he’s going to call he does call! That right there says a lot! I’ve been thrilled

We hired Broussard Home Services to side our garage in July 2024. The work started ahead of schedule and was completed, including paint, in a week. Everyone at Broussard was pleasant and professional and the work was done exactly as requested. The final cost matched the initial estimate . We will hire Broussard again for our next project. Amazing results from this team! I showed up at 8am on the start date of the project and 75% of the roof was already removed! I was impressed. When I returned at about 5pm the entire site was meticulously cleaned and the roof had been completed to perfection. Excellent quality of work, right on time as scheduled, and the Broussard office and project teams were very easy to work with and very accommodating to my schedule. I HIGHLY recommend!

This is the second time we have used Broussard for a project in remodeling our house and we could not be more happy. From Andrea who came out and gave us the bid to Vlad and his team who installed our new floors and Kevin with the trim and touch up painting they all were fantastic and easy to work with. We love our new floors and have already received positive feed back from family and friends.

These guys and gals are AMAZING!!! I have dealt with other contractors and had negative experiences, this is not the case with Broussard Home Services. From the moment I made contact to the completion of the work, everyone involved is available, responsive and professional. Their workers are professional and friendly, they take the time to explain what is going on, and they do not leave things in shambles as they move along. They are flexible in their scheduling, and work hard to accommodate the customer. I have referred friends and family, and will continue to do so. In the future, whenever I need work done, the only contractor I will contact is this one. Five stars is not enough to say how pleased I am.

Recently we noticed a water leak around the chimney, called Phillip with Broussard. He was very responsive and fixed the leak promptly. This is a company that stands behind their work and recommend them highly!

We contracted Broussard's for a kitchen remodel ended up timing pretty perfectly with the state shutting down for the pandemic as luck would have it. Rather than fold, Broussard's filed for and got an exemption and our project started on time. The only hiccups we encountered along the way were due to supplier issues which were clearly communicated to us from the jump. Everybody we encountered from Broussard's were friendly and professional. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

We've used Broussard Home Services for a wide array of projects on our property, from a fence replacement, roof replacement, HVAC installation, to a garage remodel. They have been top notch in their professionalism and quality in getting every job done, and more than that they have been top notch in communication and scheduling out the work to be done. Lynette in the office is one of the most helpful and on top of it people I have ever worked with, and it takes a lot of the stress off getting the work done when you know you have someone like her keeping track of things.

Every team we have had to the house for various aspects of the work has been incredibly friendly, timely, and professional and the cost of the work has always been fair and well explained.

I can't recommend them enough for whatever project you have, they have truly been a pleasure to work with.

It has been several days that I have been drafting my review for Broussard Home Services. I have so much to say about this company that I have been trying to condense my words. Ok, let me start.. I was planning on adding to my house 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom. My budget was very limited. I had heard so many horror stories about contractors, that I was so nervous, plus watching the movie " Money Pit" did not really help. I interviewed several contractors that gave me empty hope and something about them just didnt seem right in my heart..The prices they gave me was ridiculous too. The last interview was with Broussard Home Service. I Spoke to Lynette and Phil. I had a great feeling about them. They were genuine and they were kind. I took a chance and went with them.
Their performance: They have great expertise and knowledge about their work, attention to details, great attitude, customer service, very communicative, honest, integrity, and the whole crew there has always been very responsive to our questions and requests for anything.They hear us when we ask those seemingly endless questions and always seem to understand what we are actually needing. They use only the best sub contractors, and materials. Phil is a perfectionist with his work (He is a veteran and holds a Bachelor degree in Finance) Garret is a positive brilliant guy ( when I say brilliant, he has like 6 Associate degrees in math, science, and the list goes on). Andrea is this awsome girl that went up my roof and build a great roof. Lynette is super sweet and kind would always helped me with any questions I had and basically schedulled everything we need to get things done. Nick was always cheerful and his energy was great! This team of awsome people helped me build my dream home! Everyday I look at my home and I think of all their hard work to make this happen. I am very satisfied beyond words with their work. They will always have a special place in my heart.

Always looking to support veteran owned businesses. I've had Phil work on my own projects as well as several Phil and his crew are some of the most knowledgeable contractors in the area. But most importantly, they bring attention to detail and expert finish work to the table. I've gone through so many contractors who don't understand or have the necessary skills to leave the finished project looking perfect. If you're looking for an honorable, skilled, and expert communicator, Broussard Home Services should be your next stop. Would gladly give 6 stars if I could!

I was introduced to Broussard Home Services through Home Depot’s fencing program in April of 2019. I needed my fence fixed because unfortunately a drunk driver drove into it (everyone is okay and not hurt). I work about 2 hours away from my house, and they offered to get an estimate while I wasn’t home, but with permission. This meant a lot to me, because most companies in the past have insisted on me being home, and with the nature of my work it’s very hard for this to happen.

I was lucky to be able to work from home when the fence repair was being done. I couldn’t believe the knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail that I was provided that day. This interaction had me hooked with this company.

Fast forward to March of 2020 they did my kitchen remodel which included all new cabinets with soft close and a tiled back splash. Again they showed me attention to detail, great customer service, and professionalism. They even helped greatly with a shipment issue that was caused by the vendor which other companies would have not taken so much time to resolve. They even ended up noticing a door issue and quickly fixed that too.

Everyone, literally everyone, I have ever interacted with at Broussard has been a great experience, and I love that they can help me make my house a home. I have nothing but positive things to say and honestly they have a life long customer in me.

Im sharing my bad experience with this company because Phillip said if i do he will spread my name around like the plague and no contractor will touch my house that he has once did a quote for work on. This guy will lie to you badly! I had a quote done in March that they failed to present to the insurance company even with all the contact info. I ended up doing it myself. Should of listened to the 1st red flag! Then myself and husband kept trying to contact the company weekly for several weeks but no one will return your phone calls. So i contacted Phillip directly and he told me he would personally contact me himself in Oct to schedule the work. Well oct passed and no calls. Sadly I trusted after 7 months id get the appointment for the much needed repairs. I WAS all about hiring a veteran but not one who threatens customers and lies to them. My family is all Military people but we have morals and dont act out with threats. So here is that review Phillip I promised you after you threatened me with spreading my name all over the area and that no contractor will ever work on my house. Well guess my military uncle Vietnam Vet will be doing the work with the help of my E8 retried father. So goodluck to you young man. And may I suggest you grow up!

I am very satisfied with the quality of the work performed and the way the entire company conducted themselves. From the 1st visit to measure and talk about options on the fence we wanted, the installation crew, the office staff, all of them treated us like valuable customers and not just another job.

There was a mix up with the order of one of the gates and they let me know about it right away, before the guys got here. Even with that setback, the crew made sure my yard was enclosed and used a temporary gate to make sure my dog was safely kept inside the yard. They kept me informed of the progress of the gate and were very professional and apologetic about the setback. To me, it was refreshing to have them take ownership of the problem and work out a temporary solution for us.

I would recommend them to any one that's looking for a competent and professional company to work with. We will be using them again for the repairs to our porch in the future and for other improvements to our home. I am very happy with the work and the people that worked with us during this project. They did an awesome job remodeling my flip. They did everything from roof to drywall, and installing a new kitchen and pony wall. Andrea kept me in the loop and made it painless for me. I will continue to do business with them and recommend them to all my friends and family.

I have to say that every step of the process from estimate to completion in installing my fence was amazing. Everyone I dealt with was so nice, and professional and skilled. My yard has a pretty steep slope and I know it could not have been pleasant working with such an incline, and the guys never complained and were always so cheerful and nice. I had mentioned the main purpose of the fence was for my small dogs and they went out of their way to ensure that my little rascals wont easily escape through. My fence came out amazing! I can't rave about them enough! They will definitely be my go to on my next project!

This vet-owned company should be high on your list, if not at the very top. Honest, accurate, friendly, timely, and excellent work quality. I had an enjoyable experience working with them and ended up with something even better than I'd envisioned. Thanks - will be calling again soon!

Had a small bathroom repair that we needed help on. Got a couple bids but decided to go with Broussard because they could do it right away. This was a BIG MISTAKE. Their immaturity and lack of customer service and reliability was astonishing.
Got their estimate on Friday afternoon and it was missing an item. Emailed them Friday to hire them and to ask if it was possible to add something else. Called them Monday morning - it was New Years eve but wanted to reach them if they were open so we could get on their schedule. Spoke with a nice woman who said she got the email and would call Phillip right away and see how much more the project would be. She said, “He is at a job site so let me call him and then I will call you right back.” Two hours later around noon, she called back and once again clarified my request for the project and said once again, “I will call you right back.” No one called. I did not know if they didn’t have time for our project or she hadn’t been able to reach him. I should have given up then and called someone else. Unfortunately, I didn’t.
I called on Wednesday (today), hoping they were still going to be able to fit us in. I reached Phillip, who told me he would get an estimate to me later today. This time, I asked for a specific time for the estimate, so if I didn’t get it, I would know and not waste a whole other day to hire someone else. The estimate came when he said it would, so I called to find out if I needed to make a deposit. When I reached him, he once again asked about the project – info I had already emailed and communicated over the phone to the receptionist twice. When I explained it now a 4th time, he said he'd have to redo the estimate and send another one later in the afternoon.
I told him quite calmly that I would look at the estimate but that I needed some time to think, as it seemed like we weren’t communicating very effectively. He suggested that it was because I had asked to add something to the project that he hadn’t seen in person and that is why he got the details wrong. I responded that I had emailed the details he needed and also communicated them over the phone to someone who said they had shared them with him. Also, that I had been told I would hear back on Monday and hadn’t. He then used the excuse that I had talked to them on New Years Eve, implying I should not have expected to hear back. I would not have expected to hear back had I not been told by them that they would call me right back. He got quite huffy with me and told me he wasn’t sure I was someone he would want to work with. I once again calmly expressed that I wasn’t trying to be rude, that I wanted to work with them, I just wanted to make sure we were hiring someone we could rely on. I suggested we just forget about the part of the project that we had wanted to add on, since it was causing some problems. He then told me that since we had gotten off to such a rough start, I should find someone else to do the work.
I’ve happily done that and am scheduled with someone else for next week. However, I just can’t seem to get past my surprise at this interaction with this highly-rated company. It was so unexpected. From errors on the estimate, to the lack of communication, to saying they would do something and then not following through… to such an unbelievably rude and immature response on the phone. If I had been unreasonable or was yelling at him on the phone, I could understand his response. However, just from simply expressing my concerns to a business owner about my experience with his business thus far, his response was shocking. All he needed to say was, “I’m so sorry for the miscommunication. Let me see what we can do to make things go better moving forward.” I’ve never experienced such a lack of customer service from the owner of the business. If they didn’t have time to work with me, they should have told me that from the start so I didn’t waste my time! I’m giving one star for the woman I talked to on the phone, who was lovely, but can’t say anything else positive about Phillip or Broussard Home Services.

Phillip and his crew are amazing. We had a complete kitchen remodel and flooring through-out the house and they did a beautiful job. They took the time to help me select the materials, and corrected prior construction flaws without prompting or additional costs. We also hired them to replace our roof and they did a beautiful job. Would definitely hire them again!

Had a load bearing wall removed and a beam installed. Great crew! Great work. Always on time. Always available to answer any questions. Highly recommended and I will contact Broussard Home Services for my future contractor needs.

I have used Broussard Home Services a number of times on various projects from a deck replacement to a basement remodel and each time they have done an exceptional job and Phillips crew is very professional. I would recommend them to anybody who needs contracting work done.
