Jay and his team are a pleasure to work with, and very professional. We have now had them work on two projects for us, a kitchen remodel, and a job matching floor tile to the rest of our condo.

Both times they arrived on time, were done on schedule or early, and cleaned up and minimized dust as best they could. All at a fair price. When challenges came up they were able to quickly find solutions to move forward. We are so thrilled with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to contact Jay for any future projects.

Jay and his crew did a total demolition and rebuild of our condo in Alii Villas. This included new flooring throughout, new cabins in bath and kitchen, and an outstanding walk-in shower. Jay provided valuable recommendations on hardware, painting, etc. The entire project was completed in about two weeks.

Space kitchen and bath are great, I’m glad I decided to go with Jay and his team, they did an amazing job with our kitchen & bathroom remodel, results were stunning especially with the Italian ceramic that we picked!! They are experienced, profesional, detailed and especially clean! Definitely worth the money, Jay the owner is always available and helpful when you need to talk to him.

If I could give Jay and the team at Space Kitchen and Bath 20 stars I would! We recently used them to remodel our new home in Kona. We gutted all the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, pantry and replace all tile on the lanai/pool area. We also repainted the entire interior of the house, replaced all lighting/fans and flooring and added a few new windows. I was told by several people to expect the job to take 3-4 months – especially here in Kona! Jay’s team had it done in 8 weeks! Not only did they work 8am-5pm during the week, but most weekends also they were onsite Saturday and Sunday for the entire day!

Their work is fantastic – I had several contractors come through during construction and every one of them commented on the quality of work they provided. Whether it’s the details they bring to painting and drywall work, or the precise tile installation – they are never satisfied with “good enough”. There were even a couple times they chose to redo something because they were not happy with how it turned out.

One of the things I loved about working with them is they were audible-ready throughout the process. If I wanted to make a change or add something after seeing the project move along, they were always open to my ideas. They were true collaborators through the process which is awesome when dealing with a project of this size. Even if there was something they had never done before (ex. installing a doggie door), they not only figured it out, but completed it to perfection!

I can promise you, no matter how big or small of a job you have, they are your BEST bet to get the job done! My only regret at this point is that I didn’t use them for my cabinets! Had they done my cabinets, I would have had better cabinets, better installation and the job would have been done in a much timelier manner than the company I went with!!

If I ever have any work that needs to be done on my homes in Kona, Space Kitchen & Bath is my only choice! There is no one that offers the quality of work + work ethic + customer service that this team offers!! Do not be hesitant because of they are newer to Kona than some companies - this makes them even more committed to customer service than the contractors that have been here for years! Don’t look any farther – call Jay and get him on your project – you won’t be disappointed!!

Jay and his team installed a beautiful new kitchen in my Condo about a year ago. This week we noticed the faucet was loose. I called Jay and they came over and fixed it. It was a year since the original installation, so I wasn’t expecting them to go out of their way for such a small job, but they did. If you want a great job on your remodel I highly recommend Jay and his team. No surprises , on budget, and handled all our needs with professionalism.

Jay and his crew are very professional. They actually come to work in time every day which is saying something for Hawaii. They remodeled our whole place too to bottom and did a great job at a reasonable costs. They even added a new entire bathroom from scratch and they stayed on schedule and even finished before they said they would!! I would highly recommend them. Their quartz and cabinets are the best prices in HI and they do them the quickest as they can manufacture them there. Don't he's to call them!

I recently renovated the kitchen in my house.
It was tiny blocked by tall pantry and narrow walkway built by previous owner – wasting spaces and inefficient way of using kitchen.
Now, my kitchen has turned into a beautiful big open kitchen with many cabinets to store my stuff.
It was a total makeover – from tiny narrow/closed kitchen to wide open kitchen!
I am extremely happy with my new kitchen, and Space Kitchen and Bath was the right company to do the project.

From getting an estimate to completing the project, Jay had communicated with us constantly in a timely manner. His crew were on time as Jay communicated and did a great job of turning my ugly kitchen into gorgeous.
As Jay designed our kitchen, he listened to our needs and accommodated it perfectly.
It was one stop shopping – design, selecting cabinets, countertops, construction- which I like it.
The project cost is so reasonable – no over charge at all!
Our project included demolition of big/tall wall from floor to ceiling (we have high ceiling), and I was surprised how the cost was fair/reasonable for the total project.
Moved from California, I have noticed that all costs in Hawaii are overpriced, but Space & Kitchen is not.
I highly recommend Space Kitchen & Bath and am already thinking about next project to work with them since they do all construction projects.
