If you own a flat roof home in Northern New Mexico you know that having a good roofing contractor is essential. You will find none better Southwest Spray Foam & Roofing. The owner, Matt Segura, is very knowledgeable and experienced and takes great pride in his work. If a problem comes up with your roof, Matt and his team are absolutely determined to get to the bottom of it, no matter how baffling the source of a leak may be. And they have the highest integrity and will always look for the most cost effective solution to address the problem.

I first started working with Southwest Spray Foam more than a decade ago to address numerous problems with a relatively new spray foam roof installed by another company who failed to stand behind their work. Even though Matt did not do the original installation, he was willing to help when other companies declined to get involved. For over a decade he and his crew were responsive and reliable in quickly addressing leaks, allowing the roof to continue to function adequately for more than a decade.

When a combination of hail storms and age finally required a roof replacement, Matt worked with us to find the most cost effective means of replacing the roof. Rather that completely stripping the old roof he recommended that we use portions of the existing foam that were still good. When we had some stubborn leaks persist after the initial re-roofing work was completed, Matt quickly mobilized his crew and he personally came out to diagnose the source of the leaks (which turned out to be related to water coming through adjacent stucco walls extending above the new roof). And in true character, Matt declined our offers to compensate them for the additional materials and work that we thought was the beyond the scope of his original proposal.

I wish that every company we hire to work at our house had the knowledge, determination and integrity that we have experienced with Southwest Spray Foam. If you are in need of roof repairs or replacement I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

My original foam roof was >15yrs and had hail damage and needed a complete install of a new foam roof system. I got some quotes and decided to go with SW Spray Foam because they were very professional and I had talked with a few different neighbors who also used them. I was very pleased with every aspect of their work. They were very responsive, timely, professional, and they have a streamlined process. Once scheduled, they completed everything within 3 days: 1 day of stripping old roof, 2nd day of spraying new foam, 3rd day of coating & gravel. Very courteous & professional and great communications throughout the entire process. They went the extra mile to help me work through my home insurance, the company owner even talked directly with my insurance adjuster to help clarify some details about the repairs! We recently had a series of roof leaks, leading to the necessity to re-roof our house. I contacted several local roofing companies and ultimately selected the proposal of Matt Segura, at Southwest Spray Foam, who presented a very reasonable treatment and cost for the work. When SW Foam began the project, it was determined that there was pretty significant damage to the parapets and wood decking, due to poor past maintenance. I then met with Aaron (co-owner) to discuss how to approach the repair, and he came up with a very creative, reasonable and cost effective solution - and helped me engage a contractor to do the additional repairs. The project turned out to be complex and time consuming well beyond initial projections (involving some additional water proofing, among other things) which Aaron tackled and worked with me on in a very professional manner - thereby completing the work to everyone’s satisfaction. In fact, I felt that the team went well beyond the “norm” in working out a “win/win” solution for everyone involved. I’m quite satisfied with their work and found them to be thorough, responsive and professional, and with the highest integrity. I would not hesitate to recommend Aaron & Matt and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Matt and his crew couldn’t be more accommodating, timely, and respectful. They replaced our old roof with a rigid foam/pvc membrane and have done several repairs for us since (penetration patching due to HVAC and kitchen renovations). We have two small children and the crew made sure to show up on time (avoiding naps), and clean up thoroughly behind them. After each project we do on the house, my husband and I always find ourselves commenting on how easy Matt’s crew is to work with and wishing more tradesmen were like them. I have worked with Matt, Travis and their crews for over 7 years. They nursed my roof along for several years, put a new roof on a year ago and replaced the stucco on my parapet when the stucco companies they recommended couldn't do the work. My new roof survived many hail storms this summer with no damage when everyone on my street was replacing their roofs because of the hail damage! They inspected my roof year after year and then when I was selling my house and forgot to get the warranty transferred Travis got me out of a bind and did the paperwork on Christmas Eve! This company gets 10 out of 10 stars and the reality is they are a blessing. They have gone out of their way to be helpful to me time and time again. I highly recommend Santa Fe Spray Foam to you!

Skip going to the other guys and go straight to these. I got 3 quotes from the spray foam companies in Santa Fe and these guys had the best rates. On top of that, their spray foam service was top notch and we're willing to work with me. I helped the installers a little while they were doing the install on my interior walls and ceiling remodel and as an ex-spray foam installer I know what I'm looking for and these guys did excellent. Cleanup also was superb based on other spray foam deals I've dealt with.

As an experienced home builder and remodeler, I hired Southwest Spray Foam for the first time in 2016 to insulate my walls and unvented attic space in a house I built in the mountains of Truchas, New Mexico. Living above 8,000 feet altitude, Truchas winters are extremely cold. This home’s sole heating source is a wood stove, and I am happy to report that the home is both warm and cozy throughout the winter months and cool and comfortable during the summertime season as well. I continue to be amazed that my Truchas home consistently maintains a warmer, more pleasant temperature with the simple combination of spray foam insulation and woodstove heat in the mountains, than my desert Rio Rancho remodel that compares with blown cellulose wall insulation and rolled fiberglass flat-roof truss insulation, heated by a natural gas, forced-air system.
I can’t say enough good things about the Southwest Spray Foam products and team. The crew is extremely professional and tidy. Based on my experience, I will never again use old-school insulating methods or products for my construction projects. Matt from Southwest Spray Foam and Roofing was the most intelligent roofer and person in construction that I have met. We have different types of roof, with flat roof and slate construction. We used him for our business as well as our home. He showed us why the walls were weeping and where the problems were. He was conservative in his approach, not saying we had to have a new roof. He used a thermometer which measured the air exchange and we saw where we were leaking hot air out and getting cold air in. It was so great to see where the construction (done by others) was faulty in the insulation. We liked him so much we used him for our business with a flat roof. He was excellent. He was very responsive (the most I have seen in Santa Fe), polite, articulate and just knew what he was talking about. I can't thank him enough for his high professionalism. Our roof on our business is looking great, he corrected a lot of bad re-roofs that had left old roofs on from other previous owners. It is looking great, and I am so confident. What a blessing. So much peace of mind. Which is invaluable when it comes to roofs.
