The mechanic, Stacey, is thorough and honest. I will keep taking my camper van to him as long as he's available.

Stacey and Caleb fixed a significant electrical problem with our van and we are happy with the process and results. Stacey thoroughly tested & diagnosed the problem and they fixed it quickly. He was patient with our questions and made sure we understood the repairs needed; his communication was excellent. The final bill was exactly what he quoted. We are happy campers and will definitely use Southside RV again.

We travel full-time and needed our trailer brakes replaced. The guys at Southside RV were quick and very professional. They helped get us back on the road , and we highly recommend them!

Southside RV is fantastic. Stacey was so diligent and patient as far as getting to the heart of the problem, even when things were far more complicated than initially anticipated. He diagnosed and fixed a hard to detect propane leak, and did extra work free of charge to make sure that things were done properly. He explained everything clearly, and did a great job from start to finish.

Had shower water pump for a Rialta replaced. Even though they were short handed did it in six hours for reasonable price.

Southside RV repair is awesome! Both customer service and mechanical service are excellent. Replacement wheel parts for my old utility trailer are no longer available, but Southside RV was able to modify available wheel parts and get my trailer safely back on the road. I highly recommend this local family business!

Had a good experience . Sharon is very kind and they do good work. I got injured and couldn't drive while they where repairing my rig. Sharon stored my rv for 45 or so days after repair and gave me a discounted storage rate since it was a forced situation due to my leg. Very thoughtful and accommodating

We have had two fairly large jobs done by Southside. They do great work and on the rare occasion that they do something that causes damage, they make it good at no charge. They are very busy so it's best to plan ahead and schedule your work.

I went there to get a part for my hot water heater and the man told me that I should have my part checked out before buying a new one. I got home that night and put mine back together and it worked. He saved me 150 dollars with his honesty. I bought some other things that I needed there and all the things I bought worked perfectly. A very honest business and very nice as well

I would of had a great review for this business because the guys there, like Stacy & Caleb were wonderful to work with. But when I picked up my bill in the office the big, old guy (the owner?) decided there must have been a mistake on the bill and started changing all the numbers so I ended up with a much higher bill. Not smart and not honest!

Great service. Nice people. We stopped in to have them fix a propane regulator leak while we attended an event in the area.

I didn't want to write this review, but I had an experience today that made me think it's necessary. I'm a big fan of capitalism.
The first experience I had with Southside was 4 months ago when I took my travel trailer in to have a new septic tank installed. I was told it take one week to fix and would cost $850. After a week, I called and was told that they hadn't had time to get to it. I called once per week for the next three weeks and finally spoke with a lady (maybe the owner of the company?) and informed her of the situation; Less than two days later, I got the call that the septic tank had been installed. The price was about $140 more than I was told to expect, but that's not a big deal; I used to be self employed myself and I realize that sometimes it's not easy to provide accurate estimates. The main problem I had with this job was not that it took much longer than expected or cost more than expected, but that when I got home and filled the septic tank with water, it leaked. I am able to perform basic plumbing myself, so I was able to fix it without much difficulty, but I was unpleasantly surprised to see that it hadn't been tested out first before I was called and told that the job was done.
Today, I called and spoke with Merrill and asked if I could bring my 93 motorhome in to have the propane system repaired. When I was told that the soonest they could get it fixed was three weeks from now, I asked if there was a possibility that I could bring the motor home by sooner than that just to get it diagnosed, and that perhaps I could fix the problem myself if I just knew what the problem was. At that point, Merril laughed at me and told me that I was out of luck if I didn't want to wait three weeks.
I have no problem with a business being very busy and not always being able to take customers requests as soon as they would like; I just ask that the company explain the situation to the customer that isn't downright rude.
To be fair, I want to explain that in the many times I've called Southside, I've never had a problem with the lady (I forget her name) and with Stacey; both of them have always been very polite.
At this point, I am looking for a new RV repair company to help me with problems that I'm not able to fix/diagnose myself. I have no idea what other service companies are out there, I just don't feel like I can continue recommending or using Southside.

We needed an RV for the weekend in Corvallis and just decided to try calling some RV shops. Sharon at Southside was really helpful. The trailer was perfect, very clean and totally up to snuff. They delivered it to the sure, set it up and picked it up again. It was a great weekend and very affordable.

Very happy with the work done on our 2006 Alfa Motorhome. Great CUSTOMER service! Would highly recommend Southside RV to our Rving friends!

Needed a spindle welded on a boat axle. I was told it would be $90 an hour in labor and that it should not take more than an hour. I also told them I was going to be out of town that week and that I could pick it up the following Monday. I told the guy the axle was still on my boat trailer and that he would have to remove the wheel. This posed no problems until the next day when he said it would cost $500 because they were no longer comfortable with welding on a spindle and that the axle would have to be replaced. They told me the other spindle was probably not strong enough to be trusted... THESE GUYS WERE TRYING TO TAKE ME FOR EVERYTHING! Spindles don't just wear-out if there were no bearing problems. I told them to simply put the wheel back on as is (since a $410 difference was way too much) and that I would pick it up the next week. I ended up being charged $96 for them to remove the wheel and put it back on (which I can do in about 10 minutes)! I was also told that I had to get the trailer off that lot that week (after telling them I was out of town) because it was "prime real estate" for other people.
