Jody and his team are reliable and easy to work with. They arrived on time and worked hard every time they were on site. They installed a beautiful metal roof and gutters for us, and throughout the job they were responsive and professional. Jody is excellent at answering questions and fielding concerns, both through texting or an old school phone call. His patience, sense of humor, and knowledge of his trade made our experience a positive one, and we look forward to an ongoing working relationship with his team, for maintaining our gutters and anything else that might come up.

We had a wonderful experience working with South's Finest Roofing and our contractor, Tommy, to get a new roof. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the roof replacement process and working with insurance. His communication with us and our insurance company was always prompt and thorough. We wish we had met him before working with our other two contractors. Our roof looks incredible, and so much attention to detail was put into the replacement process. I needed a roof repair due to a moderate leak. They got someone out to give me an estimate the next day and someone out to repair it the next weekday after I approved the repair. I was also worried that my roof would need replacement soon as it is towards the end of its designed lifespan. They were honest with me and let me know that my roof was in surprisingly good shape for its age and likely wasn't going to need replfor a few years yet. They could have sold me on a new roof instead of a reasonably prices repair.

I had them give me a quote for what a new roof would cost anyway so I could get an idea what I'm looking at in terms of cost when I do replace it. I was shocked at how much less it would cost than I thought it would.

When I do need a new roof, I'll be going with them!

Tommy came out to give us a quote the day we called, and went above and beyond in his report. Drone pictures, commentary, and an itemized quote with the materials and techniques that would be used to completely replace our roof. We did get another quote, and while they were different in price, the two roofs couldn’t have been more different in quality and materials. I called Tommy back and he talked us through the quote again, and he got us on the calendar that day. We had a leak in the chimney that he tarped at no cost, and some other things pop up along the way they were willing to cover at cost. We couldn’t be more pleased with the final product. Quick response time, clear pricing, and professional work. Great job guys.

South’s Finest Roofing is a top notch company. From the minute that the team arrived on my property, I realized that I was in good hands. It was impressive how they went the extra mile to make sure tarps were down to catch any stray nails or shingles from hitting my shrubs and my wife’s flower pots. The owner was out there moving numerous things so that my property was protected while the work was being done. So impressed that I am actually having them install new vinyl siding to my home. Call Mr Taylor(the owner), he will take care of you and ensure you are satisfied!

Recently had a new roof installed by Jody and his crew, 7/1/24. The whole process was very easy and accommodating. They had my whole roof removed and reinstalled in 1 day, 60 squares, which is incredible!
The salesman/supervisor with the crew, Ronnie, was also very helpful on any issues. He helped ensure that all issues were corrected and I was satisfied with all aspects of the job.
Another thing to note the their clean-up efforts are outstanding! So far, I have not found a single nail left over from the demo/installation. If you're on the fence, please don't hesitate to give them a call. 5/5, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience in choosing these professionals for our new roof. We were given a fair estimate and a start date soon after contacting them. A great crew reported on the day and worked tirelessly to complete the project in two days. We have a large two story home, so this was not an easy project. All old roofing and repair materials were removed quickly. Once they were gone, the only evidence of their presence was the beautiful new roof!

Very pleased with the results of the entire process from the start with them giving us the estimate to the finished project.
They were very responsive and informative throughout the whole process.
The materials were delivered one day and they were out to start the job first thing the next morning. They were finished with the roof before they left the same day.
We also had some gutters installed on our house around my front porch and across the entire back of the house it took a couple days for them to get the material in for the gutters but they kept us informed about it until the job was completed.

They worked quickly and efficiently. The supervisor kept me posted on changes or issues that occurred. The new roof looks great!

I hired south’s Finest Roofing to put a new roof on our house. These people worked so hard, it was impressive to watch. Not my experience in Tuscaloosa. They oiled the fan things on the roof and cleaned the gutters. They scraped tar off from around the fireplace and put a nice black metal piece around it. They were all so respectful and very nice to me. They left the place cleaner when they left than it was when they got here. It was also our best estimate. Recommend highly if you need a new roof

I have used South’s Finest Roofing 3 or 4 times over the years, both residential and commercial. They have repaired an old roof, installed a new one and replace a commercial flat roof.
