Josh and his crew were fantastic. We had them come out on 2 separate phases of an addition to our home. Both times they were punctual and professional. The jobs were both completed according to code and we will definitely be using them again when we start the final phase of renovations.

Southland did a great job in remediating the blown in insulation that had been trampled by a solar company. Sandy, the scheduler, worked with us to get the right price point and got the insulators there the next morning. She was great!

I was in my attic and noticed that after many years my insulation had settled quite a bit. I called Southland since they were local and they offered a free estimate. Jared made an appointment and came out to take a look. He noticed my attic was missing the attic baffles for air circulation and recommended more insulation to bring the attic back to a R-49. He sent me a proposal which looked very reasonable in cost and value. Once I accepted the process was very easy to set the installation date. A crew of 2 with a big truck with all the needed equipment came out on the install date. The crew was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job installing the baffles and insulation. They even replaced the attic access panel insulation and installed a seal strip around the edges-( attention to detail). Southland and their staff made the process super easy and did outstanding work. They exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend.

Southland made it easy and comfortable to upgrade our attic insulation. Answered all questions, everyone on the team was a total professional at every step.

My 2nd floor west-facing 3-windowed home office was an EZ Bake Oven in the summer afternoons before. After spray foaming the attic, it's COMFORTABLE and pleasant at 4PM on a 93F day!!! This is THE way to go to save money on your AC/heating and make it WORK RIGHT!

Sandy, Steve, and Javier are top notch. I had a particularly difficult job as far as installation windows went. I needed the job done overnight, and as fast as possible on short notice. Southland is amazing. They did a wonderful job on the insulation of my new build home. The workers that installed the product were pleasant and professional. Kim went above and beyond to find a solution to an issue I had insulating my cathedral ceiling. While other companies were upselling me Kim found a budget friendly solution. I highly recommend them!!!!

Southland Insulators / Fifth Fuel encapsulated my large crawl space and they did an outstanding job and their price was great also! The crew was outstanding! They first removed all of the old insulation and other debris in the crawl space. Then they put foam board along the exterior crawl space walls and a heavy liner on the floor sealing any cracks etc. with spray foam. They were very neat. Removing all trash and minimizing any small trash from blowing (it was windy the day they removed the old insulation). I highly recommend this company.

I was impressed with Southland Insulators, from Kim's input during the initial building envelope walkthrough all the way to the final insulation work. Kim was knowledgeable about building codes and various insulation options to meet our needs. The installation crews were incredible. Dedicated, hard workers who paid attention to details. I recommended Southland to a neighbor who is building a new home around the corner from us, and I won't recommend a company unless they meet my fussy standards. Even without HVAC fully functional, the house has been comfortable even during this hot summer.

Working with Scott, George (Winchester) and Donna over the past year and a half providing professional services has been an absolute pleasure. We contacted George Dimitrew at Southland Insulators to remove the old insulation from our tight attic, apply open cell foam against the inside of the roof over the living space and cellulose over the garage. George always responded to our requests and questions promptly. He and DeJesus came over in a matter of a few days for a consultation onsite that resulted in a proposal. After receiving the go ahead, they and their teams performed flawlessly in a very well coordinated, customer oriented manner. We are now experiencing a clean attic that does not smell anymore and a much better thermal insulation than before. We full heartedly recommend Southland Insulators with its great products and the great people they employ.

I needed an insulator that could perform all aspects of insulation from closed cell spray foam, to mineral wool & fiberglass from one company. A builder contact of mine recommended Southland Insulators and I wasn’t disappointed! George came out promptly and provided an estimate and alternatives that I requested. He’s experienced in the custom home building industry, prompt, professional and responsive. The work was scheduled and the team executed it well. Good people good place to unload but make sure go after 7 am and call if possible because they have 2 warehouses if you go to the main warehouse and you are a new driver and having backing problem then you are stuck. And also both warehouse very very tight spot to park. New drivers make sure their surrounding before parking and again call if possible before going to the location.

George immediately contacted me when I requested a quote to insulate my new, enormous (18wx71lx15h), metal garage. Within just a couple days, he accommodated my work schedule and met me at the house to discuss options, and take measurements. He then produced a very detailed quote, with options for multiple spray foam thicknesses and associated prices...the next day! The prices were beyond fair and half that of some of the other area providers who seem to not want to be bothered with residential products...and price their quotes as such.

In less than two weeks, following great communication from Cathy, I had a well-insulated garage. Luic C. and his crew, Fredy and Reyes, did an amazing job. I arrived home from work just as they were wrapping up. Zero interruption to my day. They went through painstaking trouble to scrape the insulation off the exposed vertical beams so I could continue using a number of magnetic mounts as well.

I, honestly, couldn't have asked for a better experience and absolutely wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, or use them in the future.

Donna from Southland insulators is amazing! She does all of the scheduling and is top notch! She worked around my schedule for being home and also while at work. When she said the crews would be at my house they were there and on time! From my old attic insulation removal, to spray foam, to blown in insulation on top of the foam. She would constantly provide me with info and time frames on which the crews would need so i could plan accordingly.

Mike from Southland Insulators is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to what products i could use to better insulate my home. He gave me multiple options for what i could do. Dont get me wrong insulation is very expensive but it is a game changer for my energy bill. My HVAC unit runs roughly half the time now due to my house actually holding its temperature.

I ended up doing a full attic removal of old insulation (not up to code due to being an older home) and opted for spray foam on my attic floor. the open cell foam they used sealed up every single ceiling penetration i had in my ceiling around all of my light fixtures and hvac registers. I additionally had southland put roughly 10 inches of blown in insulation ontop of the foam.

I cant thank Mike and Donna enough for everything they have done to better insulate my home. It truly is a game changer for my energy bills. My electric bill was originally over 600 dollars in the winter, and i now have an electric bill in the high 300's.

Great quality and price, would definitely recommend them, George was very professional and understanding of my needs, he got the job done, his crew was also very professional they show up on time and covered everything that needed to be covered and left the site very clean.

From the first phone contact with George to the measurement with Dejesus to the sprayed insulation with Luis' team, the whole experience with Southland Insulators has been seamless. They removed the old useless insulation and used spray foam (open cell) on the attic ceilings and basement ceilings. The temp in the attic was 115 on removal day. The next day, two hours after the crew finished the attic job, the temperature was 80 on one of our area's hottest days. The day after it was 72. The house stays cool now and the AC works less. This stuff is amazing, and the Southland team is conscientious, polite, and easy to work with.

Truckers delivering here...the garmin dezl gps will take you right to the place. Heads up: everyone has a 7 a.m delivery time. Quarry street is really narrow and you must back in off the road. If by chance you get there early make sure you leave plenty of room for the 4 wheelers to get by. I could see some road rage happening there if you dont. Just an f.y.i

George Dimitrew of Southland Insulators spent a lot of time with me learning what my needs were and evaluating the best solution. He made sure that I understood everything about his proposal and kept in touch with me during the removal of improperly installed insulation and then the installation of foam insulation. Two other Insulation companies provided me with proposals and they were so far off the mark that they would have amounted to a complete waste of money. This company is top notch as they have all of the qualities that you would expect from a contractor.

Unloaded a day early but only b4 1300. Pretty tight backing in. Park in street overnight. They will come get u to back in if overnight.

On 05/27.2020, Southland Insulators insulated my daughter's 35 year old townhouse. Josh conducted the initial inspection and made recommendations. Josh was punctual, professional and explained the entire process. I agreed with Josh's recommendations and on 05/27 Josh's crew showed up at 8 AM sharp. Irvin (crew leader) explained each step of what they were going to do and he and his partner went to work. They were extremely professional and kept me abreast of their progress, Irvin even pointed out some possible issues with the inside plywood of the roof. They put plastic down and were very clean and neat. I would highly recommend Southland Insulators! I am even having them come out to evaluate the attic insulation in my other daughter's townhouse. Southland is very reasonably priced!!! Check them out....

I got four estimates for spray foam insulation. Southland took the time to fully explain the process and develop a comprehensive plan. The hook was they were also the best value for what I wanted. Install day went smoothly, with a very polite professional team. After they left I noticed some overspray which needed to be cleaned up. Southland was receptive to my concerns and sent a crew over immediately to ensure it was cleaned up to both my wife and my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them, and plan to have Southland complete the rest of the house next year. Lastly, noticed immediate difference in ability to cool the house and how quiet the house was.

Excellent job blowing insulation over garage and under my room where it was cold in winter and very warm in summer. I would highly recommend. Job site was clean after work and work was very professional.

Nothing like a bunch of air blasts, truck backup beeping, and banging well after midnight, to end a long, long week and to show how wonderfully you treat your surrounding community.... Oh and tell the guy that leaves your shop around 630/7 (white pickup, parks to the far side, closest to the tracks, who "thinks" he's hiding) that we can see him pissing from our porch. K thanks.

After developing a leak in my basement wall, I had to replace a section of damaged insulation. Southland did my original insulation job 10 years ago. I went back to them to purchase insulation, and they graciously gave me all I needed to fix my problem. Great company and customer service!

Southland did a wonderful job spray foaming my huge 48x80 metal building! I will definitely reccomend them to anyone who needs insulation!

The crew came and did a FANTASTIC job on installation. They addressed all my questions and went above and beyond. I was impressed how they filled even the smallest of crackes and left the site cleaner then they found it. I would recommend to anyone looking for OUTSTANDING work and GREAT Value.

I had a serious condensation problem with the HVAC ducts such that when we cut away the moldy drywall, you could see it raining inside the house. My builder called in Southland Insulators’ a building scientist, Wade Linton, from to help diagnosis the problem. Wade came out several times and did a blower door test using an infrared camera gun to look for hot stops where hot, humid air could infiltrate onto the cold ducts. As a PhD scientist, I was impressed with Wade’s knowledge of the physics of air flow, dewpoint, thermal barriers, air-to-air heat exchangers, etc. and his diligence in trying to find the root cause of the problem. We ran a series of experiments to see if a simple fix would work. Throughout the process, he explained and answered many of our questions in person, in email and on the phone.
Wade was an excellent team player and worked with the other professional on the team (e.g. the builder, architect, and HVAC expert) to come up with a consensus solution that everyone agreed on. In the end, it was decided that to really fix the problem, a thermal barrier need to be created to isolate the entire attic space from the second floor. Wade was responsible for executing the plan.
Wade’s philosophy is to treat you like family and your house like it was his own. His deeds demonstrated that he meant what he said. He personally supervised the 2-day job with 2 separate crews who were responsible for first removing the old fiberglass insulation and then spray foaming the entire attic space on the top floor and the ducts on the second floor. Each day they showed up on time, make sure that the floors and furniture were covered to prevent damage and that the house was very clean when they left. To remove the toxic fumes from the spray foam they put one huge blower door fan and a smaller fan in the window so that by the time we got home we couldn’t smell anything on the first floor. My husband was very sick at the time and Wade showed sincere compassion for us. He worked around the chemo schedule getting there before we left and made sure the house was in good shape by the time we got home.
It was a professional, efficient, well-executed job that I am confident has fixed the problem and as an added bonus lower our energy bill. During this difficult time for us, it was a pleasure and a comfort to work with Wade on this serious problem. Southland Insulators is very fortunate to have a man of such character working for them.

To the last post about delivery here and future deliveries. Come in from Liberia Ave, bldg will be on your left. Pull past, 90 in, pull up, 90 into dock. You will be sitting at a 45 ready to pull out when complete. Not a bad place been in lots worse. Also a shout out to the employees, thanks for spotting me in around the cars!!

This company is unreliable and has no respect for the consumer. The appointment was changed several times (by them), including the night before. Then, on top of that, the technicians showed up 1.5 hours late. The technicians said they called the main office regarding the delay, but the main office didn't feel it necessary to notify the consumer. Very rude and inconsiderate. If you take your appointments seriously and want a company that says they'll show up and complete a job as indicated, take you business elsewhere!!

Trucks delivering here BEWARE extremely small place/lot and you MUST BACK in from a TINY street with cars parked along it. And cars up near the dock too...someone is looking for a trucker to buy them a new car I think. Just as hard getting out with lots of trash around too. I'm sure they do out standing work here, but need a bigger place for deliveries. I give it 0 stars!

While they did a good job on the insulation, on both occasions that they were supposed to come and do the work, they did not show up. The first time they were supposed to come to install wall insulation and partially finish the attic they did not show up and thus the county insulation inspection failed. After that, they finished that part of the job and it was done well. However, they forgot to blow-in insulation for the rest of the attic. After a couple of months, they were scheduled to come and finish the job, but again they did not show up, but insured us that they will on the next day. Most of the day passed, and at 4pm, they said their machine was broken, so they would do it in yet another day. That did not happen, and again a no show. Finally after a week, they came and finished the insulation. They do good work but their scheduling and organization is horrible. Thus, I would stay away form them in the future.
