After noticing a water stain on the ceiling, we called Southern Shingle, which had already replaced roofs for several neighbors. Sure enough, we had extensive hail damage. Southern Shingle helped us in the claim process and got all the work done in a timely manner. More importantly, they replaced the shingles, the gutters, vents, etc very well and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend.

Following the damage caused by Hurricane Helene, Southern Shingle Roofing was there for us. They promptly helped us through the process of inspecting our roof damage, patching as needed, and working with our home insurance. The extent of the damage was thoroughly documented, and they were able to convince the insurance company to cover a full roof replacement for us when initially they just wanted to cover repairs.

It was a pleasure to work with Mac. He even met with the insurance adjuster the day that they came out to inspect the damage. You couldn't ask for a more responsive and diligent person to get the job done. It was truly some of the most excellent service I've ever experienced.

My experience with Southern Shingle was PHENOMENAL from the time I initiated contact and asked for a contact card from Mr. Ryan James, to the knock on the door from Mr. Scott Polke; whom became my primary point of contact. Mr. Scott immediately inspected my roofing and soon after talked me through and helped with the process of filling my claim. His constant responsiveness made my wife and I's first major step as 3rd year home owners as effortless and smooth as possible.

The process, from the initial knock on the door to the completion of the install, took all of 3 1/2 weeks maybe. The quality of my roof is amazing. The crew was in early that morning and out early that evening.

Southern shingle installed a new roof and gutters for us in August 2024, and they did an absolutely amazing job. From the very start, Drew was an excellent communicator, he responded to all of our phone calls and text almost immediately. He was very patient with me and my wife, he was patient with us as we strung him along as we were addressing other issues with our home (new air conditioning units, new water heater, water leaks, etc.) We also vacationed twice through the decision process and we were out of the country, but Drew never made us feel like he was annoyed with us, although he probably had every right to be as I was non-responsive with him (not intentionally) on multiple occasions.

In the end, Drew helped us with color selections, shingle selections, he gave us referrals so we could see similar houses with a similar color bricks, he was accurate with his descriptions and accurate with his time frames. Drew communicated with our insurance company and kept them informed of all the contract obligations and progress. The final roof and gutters look fantastic and work perfectly. Drew responded to all of our punch list items immediately and professionally. I could not ask for a better roofer than Southern shingle.

If you are needing a new roof, these people are unbelievably professional. The work was done in a timely fashion. They worked with the insurance company. The job site was immaculate afterward.

A month or so ago, we Had Jordan Barnes come out to do a free roof inspection. After Jordan took a look, we had more damage than we realized. And quickly realized we needed a new roof. He even patched a few places that needed work ASAP.
Jordan helped us every step of the way from contacting our adjuster to walking us thru the process of filing a claim. He even helped us, after hours, while at home with his family. Who does this? Where do you get this type of customer service anymore? His customer service is outstanding.
Jordan let us know what day and time his crew would be out. Jake, the crew supervisor, called the day before to let us know the he and crew would be there between 6:30-7:00. Jake was promptly there at 6:45, let us know the crew would be there by 7. The crew was there before 7:00 and promptly got to work. Jake and his crew worked all day replacing the roof, I don’t think they stopped for a break. Jordan also came out to make sure things were running smoothly.
Another thing I was very impressed with, is I had to return back home minutes after leaving, Jake, stopped me coming up the driveway and was looking on the ground, looking for nails in the driveway before I proceeded to come up the driveway. Very impressive.

Jeremy Spink of Southern Shingle Roofing has set the bar for service excellence to a very high mark. We had wind damage to our roof and a good friend of mine recommended SSR so I gave them a call. After meeting Jeremy I knew that any concerns I had about dealing with a contractor concerning the repair of my roof was not going to be an issue. He led us through the entire process, answered all my questions and helped hold my hand dealing with the insurance company. The entire job was done in only 1 day, and that included cleanup. Not a single thing was damaged and I didn’t find any trash or other debris left behind by them. The trash dumpster was in place and removed with clock work precision and after all was completed, he walked me around to ensure I was totally satisfied. I think he spent almost as much time on the roof checking their workmanship as the crew supervisor did.
To illustrate how pleased I was, when my daughters house north of Cummings, GA was subjected to high winds three weeks after SSR finished my house, I had her contact Jeremy directly to look her place over. This company and especially Jeremy were a real pleasure to work with.

His crew of professionals completed our relatively large roof replacement job in one day including re-installing 3 large 54"x54" skylights.
