The rep (Lance) who came to our home, was punctual and eager to understand our goals. It took him about an hour to complete the inspection and estimate. After he was done outside, we discussed my options. No hard sales pitch. He showed me products (varying levels of “quality“) that would in essence become my options.

Kyler was very nice and professional. Great guy. Went over everything with us. Very knowledgeable on the vinyl siding. We appreciated everything.

Prompt to visit home to inspect and provide initial estimate for repairs. follow up inspection shortly thereafter for final repair planning and estimate. no difference between the estimates. about 2 months later crew came to home to perform work but was not adequately prepared for the work and left without performing any work. a few phone calls and about a month later another crew came out and performed the work quickly. Work looks very good and the people were very nice and clean up was perfect.

Matt and the gentleman with him were very helpful. They arrived exactly when they said they would. A BIG plus!

I had an issue with a drain leak and Joseph came out to address the situation. He had such an amazing professional attitude and made sure that the problem was fixed. He assessed the area carefully with care and concern. Thank you, Joseph. It was a pleasure meeting you!

Vinny and his assistant completed the installation in a day. I thought it would have taken a week but they knocked it out methodically. Southern industries offered the best price with a near identical product to their competitor, Champion.

Great finished product, but needless delay caused by back office failure to order the correct shower base. The project only took 2 and 1/2 days, but over a ten day period primarily due to the wait time for the correct basin.

Everything was going pretty good until he wanted to tell me $14,000 because that was the old estimate that I had gotten from another company and I told him he could leave my home because I can't afford $14,000 so then things got a little better hey kind of indirectly threatened my dog you don't do that that's really really not the right thing to do in my house

Andrew was great! He communicated well and walked me through every step of the way and asked me questions on how I wanted everything. Very professional and had excellent attention to detail.Hard worker!

Jack was my window consultant or should I say expert. Wow, this young man was passionate about this business and the windows. Very knowledgeable. He was patient, asked the right questions and really listened to understand our home needs. He did a customized home evaluation and was honest. I loved our time together and look forward to working with Jack Gehrdes and Southern home improvements.

Re-replacement of my windows has been a breeze with Southern Industries. Communication has been fast, the pre-installation assessment with Brandon was easy, and efficient. Can’t wait to see the final install.

Joe went above & beyond from the moment he introduced himself. He was super kind & very professional! He made sure we were pleased with our tub to shower conversion before he left. He is an absolute asset to Southern Industries & a genuine hard worker!!!

Brandon Handley was the best service representative Southern Industries could ever have. He was very professional in replacing a window, and even took the time to correct the whistling noises in our new dining room windows. Excellent workmanship and so courteous. Would highly recommend him.

We are a condominium association in South Huntsville, looking for vinyl siding of all of our buildings for the first time. Southern Industries, Lance, and Kyler Did an exceptional job in the presentation of the company. They were very thorough with the process, their products, and the pricing. Kudos to Southern Industries and this team.

Kyler was our estimate representative and he did an outstanding job answering our questions and working with our budget.. We felt very informed and appreciated his honesty .He was on time and very easy going and very knowledgeable.

I was very pleased with each step of thr process. Daniel was very professional and helpful. He said someone would come and do an accurate measurement for purchasing supplies. Joseph did that. Daniel said it be January when they came to do work. It was December 31, and January 1 the job was completed. My understanding of how the actual work was done wasn't clear; so December 31 evening I called Joseph, he was over my particular job. I shared my concerns and assured me it be done correctly. The following morning, January 1 some of the workers, Bowers construction out of Hartsel Alabama showd up. I shared my concerns with Frank Bower, he walked around house with me explaining how the work was done and that all my concerns would be taken care of. The remainder of crew arrived by the end of day all work was completed. They cleaned up all debre and hauled it off. From the lady at Walmarts that set up the appointment with Southern, Daniel. The few texts of communication with company before work was started, Joseph, Bower construction crew, it was an outstanding process. I will recommend them to anyone. Oh, they worked on holiday to finish. I have a life time warranty. It was a soffit and facia job. On a house built in 1966. I thank Jesus Christ for a job well done. Thank all you guys very much.

Wish I could give zero stars. Ended up cancelling the installation. Arranged for a new shower installation back on August 6. well beyond the estimate when we signed the contract.
Took over a quarter year (well over 3 months) before being contacted for the install on November 8th, well beyond the estimate when we signed the contract. No status updates, no follow ups. On the install date I took the day off to be home for technician. 30 minutes before scheduled arrival by I get a call he needed to reschedule using a bunch of less and less believable excuses. Rescheduled for 22nd. Again, took day off to be here for installer. Got not just a no-show but rather a no-nothing. No calls, texts or emails. Called company customer support number to complain but connected with an answering service who basically said, "Sorry for the inconvenience." I'm tempted to charge them for the time-off I took to wait for their no-show service. For a company that emphasizes their customer service in both their sales pitch and website they dropped the ball big time with us.

Total satisfaction with Southern Industries. Our new door is beautiful, low maintenance and built to last forever. The promised time for delivery and installation was met which means a lot to us. I would recommend them for anyone looking to replace their front entryway door!

Do not hire this group! Jack Gehredes was sales rep. We clearly explained that installation needed to take into consideration elderly homeowners. We received multiple commitments that team would not be invasive and accommodate as much as possible. We signed the contract in June with an estimate of window installation in July /Early Aug. at latest.
Jack told us that we would be kept updated on the status of the project weekly/biweekly and when we could expect conpletion…..so we could coordinate….didnt happen.
They called in late July and said they would be there next day.
When they arrived , the windows (20) didn’t fit. Installers had to put molding to accommodate. We had also advised that we wanted to retain the existing storm windows…we had to stop tithe installers after they destroyed the first two ripping them out .
One window (new) was damaged during installation due to force applied. Another window was completely the wrong size .. we advised IN JULY that no addition payment would be forthcoming until job was right.

It’s now Nov. 1 and we were told they would be back today after 10:30 to complete job.Took another day off work to be there.. texted they would be here at 3:30, showed up at 4:30.
It’s 6:30 and windows are finally in. DO NoT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Would not recommend or do business with them again. Our windows we had them install did not fit and had very large gaps, the installers had to get creative with how to cover the gaps and. now we can not reinstall our blinds/shutters. No building permit was ever pulled to do the work.

I talked to a person from the company and he told me the gaps were within the acceptable range. Per the manufacturer of the windows that were installed, these gaps are not within the acceptable range. He informed me no permit was needed because it was less than 75K. We called the permitting office and that is not true, they said even if one window is installed, it needs to be permitted. They failed to show up for an appointment and we have been trying to get in touch with someone for over three weeks, no luck so far. We would just like to have the issues fixed and someone take responsibility for the errors.

Greg was kind, considerate, very knowledgeable while teaching me about all the options available to me. This is the second project I have requested from the company and they will be my first call should I require additional improvements.

Kyler promptly arrived at the time scheduled. He was friendly, professional, and very informative. He discovered what we were needing, presented his companies offers, and fully answered our questions. The whole visit took less than an hour of our time.

I will say very satisfied and impressed. Greg was very thorough, everything is documented in writing very clearly. Their window selection is great quality, virgin vinyl and self repairing screens. Not paid to write this, I'm not a bot. I'm in Madison AL off Eastview. Greg is the man!

This is a pressure company, they will want to spend an hour pitching their product I just talked to Lance C. and his pricing is clear they do not want my work. I asked for a breakdown quote and I was sent simply a total price, no break down of how much the gutters would cost or how much the cost for replacing soffit/fascia. Not only that the invoice had an insulting name for me in the Name field.
Expect to be pressured for financing, I was asked no more than 4 times even after I had told them I would be doing straight cash, then they replied sarcastically that I would have to pay 25% down. Not a problem.
But if I do not have breakdown of what each phase of the project will cost I can't decide who will do what as I explained several times I have multiple people working on the home as the whole roof/gutter and systems are being replaced.
Lost my job and any references as well.

Just to be clear. If a estimate is not clear that is what causes issues between parties as to what is to be done. An invoice with a single final price does nothing.

Daniel was very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. We enjoyed meeting and talking with him. We are very impressed with all the Southern Industries products that he showed us and hope everyone else at Southern Industries are as kind and helpful.

I appreciated all the time Lance spent with us showing the gutters. He was always available to help with any questions. It was great to work with him! The techs that installed the gutters did a superior job!

Found Mr. Aycock to be a knowledgeable professional.Will not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

I was overly surprised by the awesome presentation I received from Lance. His presentation was second to none. He was very thorough with his presentation and made sure he didn't miss anything he contacted his boss. I had other window companies provide me with a quote, but not one of them brought a sample of their window. I am waiting for the technician to install the window.
