Very Professional!! My mobile home is a double wide. Everything was explained in great detail. The crew was on time and completed in less than two days. The guttering, later on installed by another unrelated contract crew went in per the diagram provided by Perma Roof. Everything looks great and functioning very well!!

Love my new Perma roof! It is definitely cooler inside the house when the temps rise outside! I thought rain would be louder because of the metal, but the insulation actually makes it quieter! It has to be raining pretty well for me to hear it. And my storm sensitive dog isn't reactive to light/moderate rain now. I'm glad to have a roof overhang now so my walls are better protected from water damage. The crew was great! Very fast, scheduled/arrived the same week I inquired and done in a little over 4 hours start to finish! They bend the long panels over the ridge, so no center vent to leak or catch wind/debris. Highly recommend!

We love our new roof. The Crew came and looked at the Job and left the material. The next morning bright and early they showed up they done a outstanding job . Wow! What a difference. We used to set ac on 70 and still weren't really cool, our thermostat is on 79 and it's almost cold , enough we might try 80 next. We love our perma roof. Thank you Southern Builders.

We had Southern Builders install Perma-Roof on 7 of our rental mobile homes several years ago. These roofs made the mobile homes much easier to heat and cool. Tenants really appreciated the change!
The company is super to deal with. Installers were great. Roofs are fantastic! We had storm damage on one earlier this year. They came and repaired it... and it looks like new.

Extremely happy with quality of my new roof! The installers (Steve) did an excellent job and the price was a good value.

We used them back in 2006 and haven’t had any problems with my roof. In 2007 they did my in laws trailer and they did a wonderful job on both trailers. I recommend them to anyone.

We love our roof. They are so polite and they came when they said they would be there. There was 2 men that came to do it and they really know what they are doing and they are a great team. It only took them 61/2 hours from start to finish. That is amazing for only 2 men. They have the best prices around. If you want your roof done right the first time you need not to look any further you just found your company. We have told everyone we know how great of a job they do. And they have a life time warranty that right there should tell you just how good they are.

We just had Southern Homebuilders Perma Roof installed last week and we are beyond Happy!!! They were on time, professional, very friendly, and they explained everything and answered all of our questions! The price was very reasonable and we thank them very much!!! We have received LOTS of compliments on the look of our new roof and we have referred several of our neighbors!

They are going to be here in two days to install the roofover. They are a little more expensive but no other company I found does all they do. Thick insulation and a 12" overhang is very important

Roof leaked!!!! The fold over ridge cap has holes in it. They send out a guy (very nice) he explains he just going to fill the holes with silicone!!!! I called the office to let them know I didn’t fell comfortable with that and that it needs a new ridge cap! He informed me he would have to call me back. We’ll he didn’t call me back he called my husband and informed him that they will only do silicone and will not put a new ridge cap on. Your roof is the life of your home and after spending over 10,000 we now have a roof with holes in it that are filled with silicone!

The best service I have ever had. They drove from Tennessee all the way to my house in Ohio and showed up at 2 pm and they were done and cleaned up by 5 the same day. They were very professional and now my home has no more leaks and looks great

They put a new roof on my 16 by 80 I could tell a difference with ac before they were half way done . 2years after it was done we had a wind storm and 2 tree fell on the roof which damage 26 feet of the roof we call them on Monday and they were there Thursday and fixed it right up great people

I am pleased with the three young men that showed up a 7 am an we’re done by 11 am. All were very professional an nice. My home looks good an they cleaned up everything. I would recommend to anyone that has a factory metal roof to get this. It’s quite, no more rumbling of roof, it is 90 today an my ac is not running an it’s still cool inside. Thank you perma roof, it’s well worth the money to get this done.

During such trying times and in desperate need of a roof. I am soo very thankful to have had such wonderful Sales assistance by Mr. Paul Purify and having my new Roofover System installed by Mr. Billy Scott on April 9, 2020. Provided the Social Distancing Requirement with such kindness and did a wonderful job. The reduction of noise during a Storm and having the ease of mind knowing my Roof is safe and secure means the world. I would like to encourage anyone who is also in need. Southern Builders did a great job on the two roofs I have had them complete. The staff was really nice and professional. Looks beautiful!

I had my perma- roof installed in December of 2014, no problems with it at all as of December of 2018. It has survived many storms including hurricane Michael .Their crew was fast courteous and prompt. It was not the cheapest option available but so far so good, hope to never need the warranty.

Best Storm “Insurance” was a New Steel Roof

I’m so glad that we made the recent decision to purchase a new steel “Perma-Roof” from Southern Builders for our coastal mobile home in North Carolina. The new roof was installed approximately one month before the recent Hurricane Florence landfall in our area. There were extensive damages in neighboring homes from the multiple hours of hurricane force winds and rainfall from this slow moving storm; however, our new steel roof held up well and kept our house interior dry.

Our house storm insurance was recently cancelled by the carrier in January 2018, due to the mobile home’s proximity to the coast and it being over 25 years old. However, this new roof proved to be the best “insurance” we could have during this recent storm.

Dealing with the Southern Builders’ sales staff (Dan and Hilton) was easy for the roof purchase. The installers (Chris and Billy) were punctual, polite, and hardworking. They completed the roof installation and cleanup in one day, in spite of weather challenges throughout the day.

We highly recommend the “Perma-Roof” and Southern Builders.

So far my experience with these folks is not the best in the world.
The salesman I've spoken to is quite rude and doesn't allow me to ask even the simplest of questions. He talks over me when I'm trying to get details.
I'm a retired construction worker who could and would do this myself, were it not for recent battles with cancer.
If the finished product is what I'm looking for, then all the good, but it feels like they try to trap you into a contract.

I love my new perma roof. I could tell a difference as soon as the insulation was installed. My air conditioning unit is not struggling as in the past. I highly recommend for anyone with a mobile home. Just wish I had known about this product earlier. My roof was coming apart and I now have stained areas that will have to be repaired. A neighbor across the street watched some of the installation and immediately set about to do the same. He is very pleased also. There is only one flaw with my particular situation. I have oak trees and the tassels are stuck all along my front facia. I will have to get a ladder to clean these off and I was hoping to never need a ladder again. If the facia had been recessed, the tassels would have fallen to the ground. So keep this in mind if you have trees. Southern Builders was unable to offer a solution.
