Steve installed a complete solar system on our house. He gave is great options, helped us make the best choices for our house, and took care of all the permits and enrolling us in the solar incentives programs. He worked quickly and carefully and was always happy to answer questions and concerns as they came up. After the solar system was finished, he installed a Tesla car charger as well.
My neighbor had SolX do a 10kW solar install, and recommended them to me highly. One day while finishing up work at their house they gave me a very quick, rough estimate. I thought I could get different materials and do it myself for much cheaper, so I decided to go that route.
About 5 months later I had finally found enough time on the weekends to install the panels and get the electrical hooked together. However, when the inspectors came out they just laughed at my handiwork. Turns out electrical install is much harder and more complicated than I expected. At this point I was in an unusual situation, and most everyone I called would not complete just the electrical portion of the installation. I was able to get a few quotes: SolX's was competitive, and they could start immediately.
They quickly came out and got to work, and the installation was done in a day. Further more, they took over the complicated and frustrating triaging between permitting offices, utility companies, and incentive applications. They provided advice about issues specific to my setup, and completed all the work for a fair, competitive price. Today PSE came by to turn my system on, I'm finally producing solar.
