These folks just did a fantastic install for us. They put in our first panels about 3 years, so this for us was the second time that we have used their company. My principal point of contact both times was Elliott. This round we closed the circle with our Home Solar System, with the installation of a Battery and Inverter package by Enphase that they recommended. I'm a bit of technology geek and the software monitoring package is excellent as well.

Family operation with a great team, they showed up on schedule on the appointed day, and didn't stop until the install was complete. Ahead of schedule, on budget. Commissioning and follow thru has been excellent.

Hardware is delivering as promised. Not just does it make sense financially but at the end of the day it also just plain feels good to be doing the right thing for Planet Earth. Now to start saving for that Electric Car! We are very pleased with the Service and Product!

I received 5 quotes from top 5 solar companies in Kauai. Ended up going with solar Kauai for many reasons. First they have been doing solar on island for 40 years. When I called Elliot he was not trying to sell me, he was extremely informative and asked all the right questions to make sure I was taken care of and I understood everything. They use all the top notch technology with Solar Ark inverters and high efficiency REC panels. Their quote was the lowest out of the 5 BY FAR not becuase they use cheap products or hire cheap labor but becuase its ran by a family owned business with not a lot of overhead. The financing was a breeze they set me up with a killer rate in the 5's with a 20 year amortization and my payments are less than a third of my current power bill. When the crew came to the house they were like doctors doing an operation. Clean cut, professional, lasor focused and detailed and rockstars. The work was impeccable with focus on details. They were like a tight knit machine and completed the job in 2 days. Their work was clean like on the set of "This old House" my house was bussing with high level professionals on a mission to deliver perfection. I'm very thankful for Solar Kauai and recommend them to everyone. If you want to pay triple go with tesla but if you want good quality ECONOMIC Solar with good old fashioned amazing customer service, go with Solar Kauai.

We had Solar Kauai do a solar power and solar heating inspection on a home we are buying. They were fast, prompt, very professional and gave great information. We are new to solar and the education we received was incredibly valuable. Even though Solar Kauai was there for an inspection, they made a few minor changes to the system to get it functioning properly. I highly recommend Solar Kauai and plan on using them again in the future.

Wow! This was not our first solar installation, but it was by far the best. We are so thankful to have met Paul Lucas and his team. Paul came out, looked over the house, and scheduled installation before the end of 2019. He and his team arrived on New Year's Eve and had a 6,000kw system up before lunch time! Amazing to see, and honored to have been the recipient of such fine work. What a well oiled team. Paul said one of his foreman showed up to work after a hurricane and has been with the company ever since. That alone spoke volumes to me. It's fun to watch the kilowatts rolling in. I can't wait to see our first KIUC bill now that we're up and contributing. How often do you hear someone say they can't wait to see their next electrical bill? Had PV system installed by them about 2 months ago in Kalaheo. So far so good, clean install, no issues so far. They were very responsive to communication and worked as quickly as permits and their time allowed. Cost was reasonable too which is always a plus!

Solar Kauai is a top-notch company. We ordered our system from them, and we could not be happier with it. Very professional operation. They arrived on time for each appointment. Their website explains the systems very clearly and in great detail. Elliot answered all of our questions and helped us to choose the proper system to meet our needs. The company arranged for all the required permits, and the system was installed on time and very neatly. In fact, the workspace was cleaner when they left than before they had arrived. I originally called Solar Kauai for problems with my old solar water heating system which they repaired. I decided to go for a PV system. I’ve had my PV system for four years and I can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner. It works trouble free and has saved me so much on my electric bills....not to mention all the tax credit savings. Very responsive on system scoping and pricing. Pricing was very competitive, and they didn't over-specify the system, which some competitors did do. Were flexible on doing installation during a tight window of availability at my home, they handled all permitting and utility interactions without any snags. System has been working without incident for 2 months, generating output that is in line with what was promised. Elliot was excellent communicator as the project lead. Definitely recommended.

Installed the system very quickly and efficiently, also gave us the right recommendations about what was needed for our vacation rental !
