Our Solaflect Sun-tracker came on line in January of 2020. We started saving our bills 5/27/20. At that point, after our May charge, we had a credit balance of $197.90. On 3/26/21, after our March charge, we had a credit balance of $495.23. Life is good, and we are less bad. We saved over $1000 last year, on an investment of $19,000, yielding an after tax, no risk return of 5.26%. Less bad, a safe return, and possibly recoverable on the sale of our home. We've had a Solaflect tracker since 2014 and we are very happy with it. Its production has been very close to what was estimated when we had it installed, and we have seen no degradation in the 7 1/2 years we've had it. It sheds snow quickly in the winter, just as they said it would. Service has been strong, and has gotten better with their recent hire of Leo B. At first we wondered how we would feel about putting up this large structure in our yard, but we have grown to appreciate it as a sign of our commitment against climate change. It's fun to see how it changes its tilt from day to day as the sun's position changes throughout the year. It gives you a connection to the changes of the seasons in a very different way, particularly when you see the changes in the position of sunrise and sunset throughout the year, and you can appreciate the changes in the height of the midday sun each month. The installation was clean, fast and professional, and it has held up well. If something needs tweaking, their service people always contact us in advance to make sure it is OK. My wife Cindy was a skeptic at first, but she has grown to appreciate it, and tells her friends about it when they ask.

The Solaflect people were flexible and imaginative in planning and in doing our site work. The installation was done thoughtfully and thoroughly, including clean-up. The system works perfectly, and follow-up by the staff has also been excellent. I have had solar systems in two other homes and this one is superior in all ways. It's also worth mentioning that each and every person we worked with from Solaflect was considerate, knowledgeable, and a joy to have around. Five stars are not enough.

We love our Solaflect tracker! It performs well in all seasons, and produces almost as much electricity as our household uses, even after we installed a heat pump. The Solaflect team is great, and has served us well since 2014.

We bought a Solaflect tracker in 2017, with 16 300 kw panels. A year before we had bought a rooftop solar system with almost perfect orientation, with 21 300 kw panels panels. This meant that the rooftop had about one third greater capacity than the Solaflect/ Instead, in the three plus years of owning both, the 16 panel Solaflect system produced slightly more than the 21 panel rooftop system each year. One of Solaflect's strength is its capacity to very quickly shed snow.
Previously, when we lived elsewhere, we had two All Earth Renewal tracker systems, still going well after five and one half and ten and one half years, but the Solaflect tracker system is definitely superior to the All Earth systems in shedding snow.
When minor problems developed, Solaflect's competent tech guys were quickly on it, either adjusting remotely, or onsite if needed.
A good company.

We've had our tracker for more than six years. Solaflect has been quick to respond when there has been a rare issue, and the guys who came out were always thoughtful, courteous, and willing to explain the work they've done. Working with them has been a great experience for us, and we have helped the environment and saved money.

Earlier this year we decided to purchase the tracker sold by Solaflect Energy. We did our research, and in the final analysis we evaluated the Solaflect and the All Earth Renewables trackers.

These are the factors that led us to select the Solaflect tracker:
1. The Solaflect tracker had the correct size for our needs.
2. The tracker is more affordable — and therefore, a better value — as a result of its elegant design, enabling a much lighter but still strong-enough structure [PS: Being an engineer, I have a weakness for elegant design].
3. The people at Solaflect were diligent in answering all our questions to our satisfaction.
4. Solaflect was willing to accommodate a special request that saved us money, namely, the installation of two additional conduits, one for a second future tracker, and the other one for fiberoptic cable (to add EC Fiber internet to our home).

After the purchase Solaflect was very diligent in scheduling the installation rapidly and communicating with us what was going on. It was easy to work with the people at Solaflect, which made me feel comfortable making this significant investment.

We're happy with the decision to install the Solflect tracker and recommend it to anyone considering a solar installation.

PS — From early on we were determined to install a tracker instead of solar panels attached to the ground with a conventional structure. Our tracker is installed in a. haying field, reducing the footprint occupied by the solar panels. Also, a tracker is a kinetic sculpture — elegant and beautiful — compared to a rooftop or a conventional-fixed panel installation.

Overall a very good experience. Solaflect was excellent during the initial information and planning phases. The rep was very patient with us and worked through several design options to maximize our views and our solar production. In comparing 3 companies, Solaflect definitely provided more bang for the buck in terms of power production. Construction was hindered by COVID, but they kept me informed and did their level best during a very tough time when finding electricians was a major challenge. Since then, the trackers are working well and I have felt supported by the team, including help with getting the NH rebate. My only complaints: 1) the excavator drove over my septic after being specifically told how to avoid it by me and by Solaflect's project manager. To their credit, Solaflect made good on replacing the access cover that was cracked as result. 2) The grass they planted to cover the power line trench was cheap contractor grass that looked horrible. I later had to pay to remove and replant it with an appropriate type of seed that matched my lawn. This should be an easy fix if you are an informed buyer. All that said, no project this big happens without a hitch and Solaflect's team did a solid job managing the process. I would certainly recommend them to others, with a note about lessons learned...and the trackers are really cool - we love them!

There were four important levels in out Tracker experience: Investment, Installation, Operation, Maintenance. All are linked and required the Solaflect team to work together as they did with us. We now celebrate our December 2017 Tracker installation and have continuing appreciation for the Solaflect team. We are also pleased to have a Tracker on our property as we reduce energy costs and showcase a step to go green.

We love our Solaflect tracker, and dealing with Solaflect has been a pleasure with great customer service. Solaflect installed our tracker in 2012, and it is on track to pay for itself in less than 10 years.

In Newbury, Vt I saw these trackers going up and two years ago I bought one. It powers the house with the batteries and we were without Green Mountain power for 5 days and was not aware of it until we checked our usage. Swings effortlessly around all day long to precisely catch the maximum sun potential. It is very rewarding to get that power to directly offset our electric bill expense. Every watt is constantly being updated on the SolarEdge site with daily, weekly, monthly and yearly charts to see how the tracker performs. At night the tracker swings back to the morning position to wait for the sun to pop over the horizon. If it senses too much wind it goes flat to ride out any storm and after shoveling the walks and roof of snow it is a treat to see all the snow on the tracker just slid off when it stands up and goes to sleep at night. It is a beautiful and productive sculpture glistening in the sun.

Solaflect is great! We recently purchased a home that already had a Solaflect tracker. Thera and Leo contacted us immediately to get everything set up with our tracker. It was a pleasant, professional, and educational experience.

We love our Solaflect tracker. We liked our first one so much that we added another one and now all of our electricity needs are powered by the sun (including our two electric cars)! Great solar option with great service. This is a great option for anyone that wants to add solar.

This past weekend we noticed that one of our two Solaflect trackers was clearly not working. It’s orientation was not at all toward the sun. In fact, not to anthropomorphize too much, the tracker appeared “injured,” not able to do the work for which it had been designed. First thing Monday morning Leo Bangerter called and said they would be out that morning to repair the problem. Mid-morning Leo and his colleague Cameron arrived and set to work replacing a small auxiliary motor. In short order the repair was completed. What we appreciated most (beside the promptness of Solaflect’s response and a successful repair) was their commitment to good customer care evidenced by their friendliness and willingness to explain the repair they were making as well as to answer a range of solar energy and tracker related questions with patience, evident pride in their work and the Solaflect product. In short, should problems arise in the future, we feel confident that Solaflect will stand behind their product.

I'd like to thank the folks at Solaflect for their help in leading us through the process at the hearings held last winter at the Vermont Public Utilities Commission, and for keeping us informed in depth about the complex issues in order to present our case to the PUC.
The Vermont act that regulates the solar generation community's relationship with the local power company contains caveats that call for changes in the rules when needed. These hearings brought it all into focus to satisfy a challenge by a ratepayers' group . Solaflect monitors that regulatory world and when action from us is needed to protect our own interests, they provide us with technical details that ensure our opinions get to the right place in a timely fashion. Their continuous support is greatly appreciated.

These things are a big investment. But in our case it has turned out to be an excellent one. Over the years we have been slowly moving towards increasing our energy independence - and the installation of our Solaflect tracker has clearly put us over the finish line. We now manufacture more clean organic electricity than we can harvest.

The machine itself works well. The only minor problem we have had is with the tracker stowing itself (going flat to reduce surface area) when it gets windy - and then loosing the internet connection - so that it does not always restore itself automatically when the wind drops. This has only happened a handful of times over 3 years and the Solaflect people have always been on top of restoring it. Nevertheless, it’s a small bug which i hope they are in the process of eliminating.

So, I really have only positive things to say - and, as my wife likes to say of the tracker; “It makes me happy”.

We have a solaflect tracker and are very pleased with it. In particular, the support staff has responded with alacrity to our few mishaps (cows, lightning). The service couldn't be better or more friendly, and we like watching the damn thing move!

Terrific company to work with. We did a ton of research, and found Solarflect to have to most innovative solar solution. We installed Solarflect Energy's GPS Solar Tracker with 16 panels and it's generated $1400 in energy for us per year to power our home. If we installed stationary ground or roof systems we'd required 32 panels to get the same solar gain from 16 panel Solarflect GPS Tracker. The Tracker now also powers our Tesla Level 2 charger. We highly recommend Solarflect as the best solar company to install solar at your home

I've had my Solaflect Tracker for over five years. It supplies nearly all of my electricity needs, and makes me feel less guilty about those long, relaxing hot bubble baths I take every night! I'm still on the grid, as my systems sends and receives power as needed, It's fun to read the bar graphs on my account page at Green Mountain Power... they show how much power I used, and how much my system produced, for any given month, day, and even hour I select! The Solaflect company is super-attentive, constantly monitoring all their customers' systems from their headquarters. They notice any problems (and they are few) right away and fix them. It's a pleasure to do business with them.

We are very pleased with our tracker. It has performed as well -- better actually - than advertised. You really get a lot of energy from a small footprint. It fits nicely on our property, tucked away behind our barn. And the company has provided outstanding support, from the initial consultations and installation to the (rare) routine maintenance. We first had PV solar in 1984 to electrify our small home in Vermont. I had a solar tracker installed by Solaflect. They are out of Norwich Vt. They installed my system in August of 2014. They have been great and the system produces more power than a stationary system. Because of the phasing out of the tax credit and my pending retirement, we decided last fall that the time was right to install solar (all of the environmental benefits being a given). We spoke with a number of providers and decided that a tracker made more sense than a stationary system. We chose Solaflect because it is local and its advisors were accessible, well informed and were responsive to our priorities.

The installation was seamless despite weather challenges. All who worked on the project were knowledgeable and flexible in their approach, particularly given the challenges of the site we had chosen. Electricity production far exceeds our usage allowing us to use heat pumps for a share of our heating reducing our carbon footprint and the amount of wood that we need to “put up” each summer.

Great company! We have had our panels three years. Their efficiency may be obvious but what has been very important and refreshing is Solaflect’s attention to maintenance and upkeep. Panels are monitored remotely so if there is a problem they give us a call that they are coming out if it can’t be worked on remotely. Upgraded parts have been replaced. It has been a great experience and well worth the purchase.

Trackers are great. They follow the sun and when vertical, they shed snow. Our neighbors have roof mounts. Their panels are covered for days after a snowstorm when ours are clear and working. It was a good decision.
Solaflect is a wonderful company. They engineer and produce a superb system, install it well, and take good care of their customers.

We worked with Solaflect to install TWO trackers in our backyard last season. The planning folks were extremely helpful in assessing our location and orientation to assess the degree of success we might have in installing solar. The assessment lead to plans to remove a few tall pine trees to dramatically improve our results which we did affordably. Installation went easily and the team re-seeded the grassy area involved after the electrical connections to the house were buried. Our electric bill dropped from $235 monthly to $13 (Summer). When we changed and improved our internet router service I forgot to check any impact on the tracker function. Surprisingly, Solaflect was monitoring our functioning and contacted us to help reconnect. Easily done again. I cannot be happier with the working relationship this company engenders. They've advised to wait a couple years for the home battery units to decrease in price. I plan to add an electric car to our solar use when that becomes more affordable. Solaflect has been with me all the way. If you have doubts, cease worrying. This is a class act company.

After doing our research and getting up to speed about the different solar options, we came very quickly to the conclusion that Solaflect was the way to go. It has been wonderful from the beginning, and remains so after nearly 5 years. Snow sheds off immediately, which is especially appreciated at our higher elevation. Our tracker has been great in every respect, and we feel it was the responsible thing to do. Also, we absolutely love the design… an engineering marvel that we enjoy looking at as the position changes through the day and the seasons. After several years producing more electricity than our household needs, we now use the surplus to power an all-electric Chevrolet Bolt - another good decision!
