We chose Snap Roofing for to replace our roof after carefully considering two other installers. First, their price was the least expensive. But that’s not why we chose them. They have good reviews and the shingles they use are highly rated by consumer reports. It also became clear to me that Steve paid attention to the details. He was worried about the large delivery truck damaging our paver driveway. So he said they’d deliver the shingles on a small trailer and load the shingles onto the roof themselves. There was no added charge for this! On delivery day they worked very quickly. When it was all finished, I was once again impressed with the details. They painted our exhaust pipes gray to blend in with the darker shingles. Because we have a dog I was also worried about leftover nails in the yard. However they were very thorough with their heavy duty magnets, and I was unable to find any leftover nails. We are very happy with their service.

We were really pleased by the service we received from Steve and his folks. Steve always responded to our calls and emails in less than a day. His folks did a great job and our new. Roof and gutters were installed quickly. I highly recommend them!

SNAP was recommended to us and we are delighted to pass along the recommendation. From our first conversations with Stephen and RJ to the completion of the roofing job we were impressed. They are personable, knowledgeable, and caring. Their price estimate which included a full description of the work that would be done was fair. (We did a price comparison.) They guarantee their work, train their own roofing crews, and use quality materials. Their roofing crew was efficient and professional. They carefully protected the house and plants around the house with tarps and thoroughly cleaned the area for any miscellaneous debris after they finished the roof. We know Stephen and RJ care because they identified a structural flaw in the roof and made a special trip back to fix it.

Steve replaced my roof almost 4 years ago. He and his teams are wonderful. Great price. I had a fews came to estimate before Steve. We choose Steve cause he was so nice & did the extra. Would definitely recommend Steve.

We had our roof replaced by Snap in January. Working with Steve and the company was an unbelievably easy and positive experience. Once we were ready to go ahead with the replacement, we were able to schedule the date of replacement in less than a week. The workers were on time and efficient and completed demolition and replacement in one business day. We went with the merlot color and were so impressed with the final result. Definitely recommend going with Snap!

I found Snap Roofing Siding & Windows from a Google search since they're a local business in Bowie. My first impression when calling Snap, it didn't seem like a business because Steve questioned who I was and how I got the number. "That's odd - whatever happened to, oh, idk, Snap Roofing, how can I help? Then he told me to call back because he was busy. OK, how about you call when you have a moment to set-up an appointment. Matter fact, I'll send a text with my information and pictures to give you an idea of the job. I sent the text after we spoke and at no point during the day did Steve return my call nor acknowledge my text messages. Before the business day was over, I sent one last text asking if the messages were received. By this time, I deleted the strand because clearly I'm not doing business with some half-a**, unprofessional company that doesn't have the courtesy to schedule an appointment, acknowledge messages or return them. Finally, I get a text that just says "Yes." So I call shortly thereafter and again, "who's this?" Rather, Snap Roofing... Steve tells me to call back tomorrow because we're closed. Maybe business is so good that he doesn't need to take on another job and after reading such positive reviews, I'm dumbfounded as to how they were accommodated and my job went ignored. I WOULD NOT recommend Snap to anyone and if Steve has the time to read messages, my advice is to "DO BETTER because your business model sucks."

Stephen, the owner, is phenomenal. We noticed an issue that we believed to be a leak so he came by to look at it. From the moment I sent the initial email to the moment he swung by wasn’t more than two hours.

He spent an hour with us walking thru our home and basically giving us a Levitt House 101 course. No leak, but we now have a better understanding of our home and a list of things to look for and plan moving forward. We will be executing that plan moving forward and will keep coming back to him for future projects.

Anybody with a Bowie home, Levitt especially, should call this company.

I'm relatively new to the area and knew we needed a new roof from the day we bought our house. It had a double-layer roof and the second layer was probably 20 years old at time of purchase, but we weren't ready for the investment. Fast forward almost 10 years later and it was definitely time. We had a number of the big roofing businesses over who took 2 hours of our time with a hard sales pitch, had wide ranges in pricing (were able to be talked down), and overall just an unpleasent experience. Then my neighbors had their roof replaced and had a sign up that said Snap! Roofing. I decided to give them a call and Steve, the owner, stopped by to provide an estimate. He clearly knew his stuff (after multiple sales pitches, I was becoming a journeyman at the lingo myself) and started pricing out an Owens Corning 50-year roof. I almost stopped him. That roof was extremely expensive from what I had seen in the other sales pitches and outside our price range. Still, I walked around the house with Steve, watched as he pointed out all the issues, told me his decades of experience working in the area, and went inside expecting the hard sales pitch. Instead, he priced it out and gave me an offer. I almost signed on the spot. It was far, far better than any other similar offer I had seen. I decided to still wait a couple days to think about it, but in the end called Steve and proceeded with the roof replacement. His team came out a few weeks later and was fast, professional, cleaned everything up, and the new roof looks fantastic.

Bottom line is if you have come across this review and are considering giving Snap a call, do it. I promise you, it will be worth your time.

Hands-down SNAP was the most wonderful service company we have ever dealt with. Steve, the owner, has pride in workmanship and an above and beyond hands-on approach. They show up when they say they will, use quality products, are extremely efficient to the point of our amazement and go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. When they were all done we would’ve had to use a magnifying glass and tweezers to find any remnants that they were ever here. When we walk our dog neighbors go out of their way to praise the roofing and siding job they did on our house. It was pure magic----no kidding! If you need a roofing and/or siding job, SNAP is the best decision you’ll ever make!!

My roof was done by Snap Roofing in June 2016. The best gift i ever gave myself, no more algae streaked roof. SNAP has excellent customer service, Joe is a friendly businessman, good communicator, exellent workmanship, the price was fantastic...actually the best price, the best contractor i have ever worked with! Joe and his crew were always on time, professionall and what i liked most about Joe is, he was the project manager. Steve and his crew replaced my roof and added an extra layer of attic insulation in my townhouse. Wow! What a difference. It was August and the difference in the temperature upstairs changed drastically.... for the better, I did not have to set the thermostat at 70* overnight to stay cool and comfortable enough to sleep. If you are wondering if adding additional insulation is worth the effort and money, YES!! The crew also did a fabulous job, they were on time, friendly, and cleaned up well. Many of my neighbors commented about how professional they were and what a great job they did.

After having gone through the unpleasant experiences of roofing estimates, Steve (owner) offered the best products and value for my money. If you deal with this company, no pushy middle men, you deal with the owner who has over 30 years of experience. I feel he passed the salesman's commission directly to my bottom line and was not obnoxiously rude, but refreshingly honest. Snap roofing exceeded my expectations. New gutters, boards, capping etc, and roof (Owens Corning Duration). Highly recommend the company. And believe me I researched for over a month. Also, it is not always the cheapest guy in town, "you get what you pay for"! The value for your dollar is what counts. Ironically enough, his bid was the best! Lastly, research the shingles first then find a roofer to install the product you ask for.

We were so pleased with SNAP Roofing 20 years ago that we decided to give them a try once again. Steve's bid was the lowest of 3 that we received and the workmanship could not have been of a higher quality. They showed up early and got right to work. It was finished in one day. The clean up was immaculate and our new roof is beautiful.

In 1986 Steve (Snap Roofing) Installed Asphalt Shingles over the original roof shingles. 29 years later it was time to replace the Shingles. We contacted 5 area roofers and had them place bids on the replacement. Then I called Steve, he promptly wrote a bid proposal. Not aware of the previous bid amounts I informed him he was again the low bidder and we signed the contract. That Friday morning a delivery truck delivered the roof material right on time as Steve said they would. The next morning Steve’s crew was on site as promised at 8:00 AM to begin the project. They covered all the shrubbery and the perimeter of the house with tarps and placed a large dumpster in the driveway and began the task of removing all the previous asphalt shingles. By noon the plywood roof was bare and the new shingles were installed. By 5:00 PM the roof was complete all the debris had been removed and the dumpster was on its way to the land fill. We said goodbye the workers and had a conversation with Steve to tell him how pleased we were of the roof replacement. Snap Roofing over the years has replaced storm windows and siding on our home. If you are looking for a Home Improvement contractor I would not hesitate to give Steve Napolitano at Snap Roofing a call. You will find him to be very reasonable in his pricing and quality workmanship of his trade.

Steve was quick to respond and is very knowledgeable about the Levitt homes in Bowie, MD. His rates for a complete roof replacement were reasonable. The installation of my roof took one day for delivery and one day for installation. All we had to do was keep our driveway clear for their vehicles to do the job efficiently. Our install was in early March with our weird weather so we took delivery of the shingles on a Monday, and the install was only a few days later on a Thursday due to rain, otherwise it would have been a next day installation. His installers were friendly, professional and efficient. Steve was responsive to my questions and was very personable. I try my best to shop Bowie (local) businesses and Steve made it easy and I highly recommended SNAP Roofing for your next project.

SNAP put on a new roof and repaired another contractor's previous poorly installed front siding. Both times the work crews showed up on time and immediately went to work with skill and professionalism. Each worker knew his assigned tasks and performed them well. They even did some additional minor repairs (flashing, etc.) without asking and without additional charges. Cleanup was thorough, getting the smallest pieces of trash and nails. Both jobs were done in a day. The finished jobs look great. I have gotten several complements from neighbors and friends on how nice the new siding and roof looks.

We have used SNAP Roofing for several projects. Can not say enough good words for the satisfaction received. Yes, new roof done professionally, on time, clean work, and on budget. We had seven roof sky lights installed as well. It had been five years ago ... and we love them still. No leaks, function perfectly and a great improvement to the home.

We had an excellent experience with, and quality workmanship from, SNAP Roofing and its owner, Steve. We had extensive water intrusion from a storm in early 2014. We tried several specialty and restoration contractors, before turning to SNAP. Steve found the root cause of our problem, which all the other "experts" had missed, and helped us map out the entire repair project. Although he was careful to explain what he could and could not do, he proceeded to over-deliver by essentially taking ownership of our overall project, helping us plan and coordinate the multiple repair efforts, and delivering on his scope of the project with excellence. Our home is now water-tight, for the first time in years, thanks to Steve's personal attention, seasoned professional advice, and reliable follow-through.

I had Steve and his crew replace my roof last year. They did a great job, very professional, tearing off the old shingles, replacing bad plywood sheeting, replacing the vents and furnace stack, and installing new architectural shingles. The cost came in just as he had estimated. It looks Beautiful. I recommend Steve and Snap Roofing to all my friends.

We had our roof done November 2014. The roof was 30 square ,they started at 7 am & were done by 5 pm. The crew cleaned up every scrap & used a magnetic bar to get up any nails on the ground. The roof looks great. My wife & I are very happy with Snap & our new roof. We would recommend Snap to do a roof for our friends or any one else that needs a roof.
