I appreciate Steve’s careful handling and knowledgeable repair of my Monaco RV. I’ve used him exclusively now for 2 years and am so glad I found him. He has fair pricing and gets to work on my RV as soon as I drop it off to him.

Steve was great to deal with, he got my Aqua Hot up and running in less than an hour, very knowledgeable on this product. I will definitely use him in the future.

They came out to our camper and were extremely knowledgeable. The problem was more difficult than we originally expected and they stayed until the job was done properly. I would no doubt use their services again and highly recommend. They were super honest and genuinely great people.

Steve was incredibly helpful when I snapped a leaf spring on my trailer while traveling through. He wasn't able to come out and fix it, but talked me through the process and I was able to repair it successfully and get back on the road in less than a day. He didn't need to help me at all, but he made time for me on the phone with multiple calls and then refused any payment, just because he's a great person from what I can tell. He's kind and knowledgeable, and I can't recommend him enough.

We were on our to Yellowstone and our RV AC stopped working in Heyburn, ID. I called several places nearby and they were all too busy. I called Steve Murphy at Snake River RV & Hitch, explained what was happening and asked if he could help. Told him that we were driving towards Idaho Falls and would be there in a couple hours. He said come on by and he would check it out. When got there he stopped what he was doing and started checking on what was happening. About 45 minutes later we left with an operating AC. Thank you so much for making our trip much more enjoyable.

Excellent service. Got a hitch receiver install on my 2023 jeep grand Cherokee. Very nice gentleman and knowledgeable and gave tips on towing.

It doesn’t get much better from a business when they say they will help you and they do it when they said they would and at a cost that is so reasonable. Steve is your guy if you need help with your Rv because he has an incredible amount of talent and knowledge of almost any issue that may develop with your Rv.

Can’t say enough about how Steve helped us out. Our Aquahot system broke down on our trip and when we called he fit us right away into his schedule. In a short time he isolated the problem and corrected it. He checked the entire system to make sure everything was working properly and later that evening took the time to call us to make sure everything was still working great.. Highly recommend him for your rv repairs.

10 stars if I could give them. Steve was prompt in responding and coming out to help repair my small camper trailer. There were a few problems, one being a leak with the transmission fluid. He showed me what needed to be done and told me it was an easy repair I could do so he wouldn’t have to charge me. I appreciate his time in showing me so I could learn a new skill.
He later came back out with a buddy to fix a more intense repair with lifting/lowering my hi-low trailer. They are currently working tirelessly so I can use the trailer for an upcoming roadtrip. Very grateful for his hard work and determination, especially in 30 degree weather. Highly recommend Snake River RV and Steve and his help who came out.

We were at Yellowstone when the Oasis hot water heat exchanger in our 2018 Newmar Ventana developed a leak. We called every place within 200 miles but no one wanted to or knew how to work on the Oasis. We eventually talked to Steve at Snake River RV & Hitch. He knew all about the Oasis hydronic heating system and was willing to work us in. He diagnosed the problem remotely, ordered a new distribution module for us and called us when it arrived. A few days later we drove to his shop and he started work the next morning. Later that day, we had hot water again.

We can’t thank Steve enough for his work and hospitality and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their RV.

Reached out when rv jacks were stuck. They spent the time trouble shooting and were able to get them working. Great people and service. Would definitely use again.

What an awesome experience today at Snake River RV & Hitch. My plugs in my trailer harness weren't working. It was just a fuse...Steven could have totally taken me 'to the cleaners' because I don't know anything about trailer wiring...15 min at his shop and 1 fuse and I was on my way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I arrived at my RV Park destination in Idaho Falls in late afternoon to find my slide tracking on only one end.
I called Steve at Snake River RV & Hitch the next morning. After a few diagnostic questions he had pretty good idea what was going on and said he could check it out after he made one stop. About a half an hour later Steve showed up and got right to work. He had the problem resolved within an hour and we wrapped things up.
I would like to say ‘Thank You’ very much Steve for your prompt & courteous service and getting me back on the road so quickly.

I don’t think we could find enough words to describe the service, patience, and knowledge we were grateful to receive from Steve. He never rushed or made us feel like he was in a hurry. He was thorough walking us through the trouble shooting and discovering not just what was wrong but also what was causing the problem. This type of customer service is rare to find these days!
And who, answers their phone on a Sunday and helps you trouble shoot another issue the next day!

Attention to detail, treated my trailer as he would his own. If in the area and needing service again, would be my first call.

We had a blow out in our trailer on the way to Idaho Falls. The tire damaged underneath our trailer and pulled out about 10 feet of wiring. When we arrived at the rv camp ground, we found out what the wires went to, the slides. Our slides would not go out. I called Steve and he was at our rv spot with in a half an hour. He got our slides to go out and saved the day.! Thank you Steve

I'm a new RV owner and I was unable to get my hot water heater started. I was walked through the process and in a matter of minutes I had hot water! I know exactly who I'm going to call the next time I have an issue. Thank you very much!

Steven’s service was exceptional. We had an Aqua Hot hot water issue on the road, and he was the only one after 20 calls that would take us right in. I knew just by talking to him on the phone that he was extremely knowledgeable about our problem. We arrived at 8 am, and he had us back on the road in no time. So refreshing to deal with someone who actually cares about servicing his customers, and not just about getting their business. Wish he was close to our home, as we’d definitely go back to him again. Steve is exceptional. We had our bearings burn up on our trailer on a Friday night, an hour out of town.
Steve answered the phone on a Friday night and took the time to give us direction. He told us where to get the help and even name some calls on a Saturday to answer some concerns.
He did all of this knowing that we weren't going to use his services if we followed his advice .

Steve made time to resolve our Aqua Hot issues, when we couldn’t get an appt anywhere. Too many big RV companies won’t provide emergency repairs. Don’t discount Steve just because he isn’t a big RV company. He is an Aqua Hot expert. Steve came to the rescue and now we have hot water. He even help found an electrical issue. Plus, he called the next day to make sure everything was okay. I highly recommend Snake River RV & Hitch.

When our AquaHot failed, my husband called this company and actually got an immediate call back. That was just the beginning of Steve's excellent service. He worked with our schedule to have us bring the motorhome to his shop on a Friday afternoon so he could work on it the following Saturday morning. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner, and our problem was fixed. He even made a follow-up call the next day to be sure that everything was working properly. We were impressed with every aspect of service. This is definitely a five star business.

We use our Aqua Hot a lot and have it serviced twice a year as we travel. So we have used a lot of Aqua Hot technicians. Without a doubt he was the most informed we have encountered and did the most thorough job. I usually watch as it is being done and he took apart and cleaned parts that others skipped. He removed and soaked/washed/brushed parts others just blew air on or vacuumed. It has never run so clean. I would go hours out of my way to have him service our motorhome again.

Just stopped by to use the restroom. Ended up talking to a fellow Veteran, I think his name was Evan.had a
great army guy talk outside. I quit drinking 5 years ago, but If I was still drinking, this place would be my kind of watering hole. Everybody seemed nice and friendly, place has a good charm feeling to it

Contacted the owner in advance and he was waiting on me. Very fast friendly service and overall did a great job. I would return if I ever need any hitch wiring done this guy knows his stuff.

Steve was so willing to help at a moments notice. I took my furnace to drop off and have him check it out. He stopped what he was doing and got my furnace fixed. He is really willing to help you troubleshoot the the problem. He is the greatest .

Don't let this 'off the beaten path' location fool you. Steve knows EXACTLY what he is doing with Aqua Hot systems. He fixed our "new" system that had been leaking from day one. Knowledgeable, efficient and fair! Highly recommend!!

We wandered into Snake River RV & Hitch close to Noon as out of state strangers. Steve was at work on another RV but broke off from that to find out what he could help us with. I explained that our 5th wheel had low clearance over the bed rail of our pickup and in some situations could take a bite out of the top of the bed rail.
Steve asked if the kingpin box could be lowered to help this situation but I wasn't sure it could and my photos weren't detailed enough to be able to determine this. Steve offered to drive to our campsite 20+ minutes away to check it out as soon as he finished up with the RV he was working on, about a half hour.
So off we went with Steve following us to our campsite. After determining that the kingpin box could not be lowered, Steve suggested some hitch options we could consider. He asked us how long we would be in the area and after finding out that we were only in the area for another day or two, he immediately got to work sourcing the hitch and accessories we would need.
We tentatively agreed that I would show up at his shop the next afternoon with the RV.
Amazingly Steve called back that same afternoon saying that he had the hitch and parts we needed and could come out to our campsite after supper if it was OK with us. It was fine with me but I said it's lightning all around and looks like its going to pour buckets. Steve just replied that he didn't mind getting wet.
So Steve drove out to our campsite once again, installed the hitch while being very meticulous with all the torques and alignments and gave me a description of the whole process as he went along.
After I paid my bill, which was very fair with no surprises, Steve spent at least another half hour giving me tips and understanding about slide maintenance and operation and construction and other RV maintenance tips.
To summarize: Steve is a very honest, fair, generous and great guy. He has a great amount expertise so will most likely be able to solve about anything you need fixed. His customer service is above and beyond. I highly recommend with no reservations.

No surprise that there are all 5 star reviews already. Steve drove out to fix my aquahot that was not firing. He was very fast and knowledgeable, trustworthy and worth every penny.

Rock star! On short notice, Steve was able to take a look at my RV and get it fixed - correctly. I have had at least two other RV places "fix" my hitch problem only have the problem come back. Steve could have done a quick tighten job and sent me on my way but, he researched the equipment I had and correctly installed it - fixing my problem for good.... And his co-worker Nicki was five stars as well. If you are passing through, you can trust Steve to take care of you.

Mr. Steve Murphy is a true professional, but not only that he is a genuinly nice guy! Steve installed a gooseneck hitch in my truck and did it while I waited! In addition to doing the hitch install I also had a problem with my RV water heater which he later helped me troubleshoot over the phone. There are not many professionals like him that truly want to help their customers. I highly recommend.

Information about installing 7-pole trailer wiring on a 2021 Hyundai Palisade is very scarce. Steve developed a plan for utilizing the existing towing system wiring and installed a brake controller. It is a very good looking installation and I am very pleased with it. I highly recommend Snake River RV & Hitch for any of your RV work.

We communicated by phone and he helped me troubleshoot. I ended up driving to Idaho Falls for Steve to work on my motorhome. He diagnosed the problem very quickly. He went over the top to help me with my heater when I needed it the most. He is very knowledgeable on the aqua hot systems. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone that has a aqua hot system. Had a busted hitch back in August at Yellowstone. Steve was able to repair it quickly and with a fair price,when all the big box stores,camping world and other places in town wouldn’t touch it. Great guy very honest. Thanks Steve. Sorry for the late review!!

We called Steve on a Friday morning and he tried to help me diagnose the problem over the phone. When I couldn't get it to work he scheduled an appointment to come out and look at it but not before he made sure he had all parts that he might need before he got here. This kind of business practice is unheard of now days most repairman try to drag it out for as long as they can with driving back and forth to the store for parts. Steve was a real professional and had my heater back up and working in about an hour and a half. He also checked in with me the next day to make sure everything was still working. Our electrical harness to the truck shorted and we had no trailer lights over the weekend. We located Steve and he immediately took the time to help us out in an emergency. On the road and my awning starts coming out while driving. Everyone was a day to a week out, that doesn't work when traveling. Snake River RV and hitch said come on in. Very courteous and reasonably priced. Back on the road in less then an hour. Thanks again.

I got the man with experience working on RV"s not a minimum wage employee only supervised by someone with experience, Who would I rather be working on torquing the screws and bolts properly and in charge of ordering the proper parts to fix my vehicle Steven or a minimum wage employee, Definitely Steven because I feel he cares about his work so much, also the experience I have had with him. He cares about a quality job. He has been honest with me over the almost two years and a half dozen projects on my RV from just getting advice on how to fix something by myself to saving from getting a bill from an RV dealer including himself, By just doing it myself on a few projects. In December 2019 we were travelling to Arizona and my trailer needed some repairs. I called Snake River RV Repairs on a Saturday morning and Steve answered immediately. I took my trailer to his shop. Very surprised when Steve answered my call at 7:30 pm! Had my Aqua-Hot diesel burner quit on me, and the weather had gotten unexpectedly colder than usual. Steve got me in the next day and I was on my way in about 4 hours. And I paid about half what others have charged me. Knowledgeable, honest guy. I highly recommend Steve for your RV repairs.

I'm very finicky about who works on my coach because most people don't know what they're doing. Steve is just the right individual to do your repairs. He's knowledgeable, fair and honest. I had Aqua hot issues that he addressed and finally fixed my problem since new. I highly recommend that if you're in or near Idaho Falls he is definitely worth going out of your way for him. Especially if you're passing through with a problem, do yourself a favor and call Steve!!

Really nice to find a knowledgeable, honest, and reasonable rv repair. Our furnace was not working, freezing temperatures, and Steve diagnosed the problem and made the fix.

I wish all businesses conducted themselves like Snake River RV and Hitch. Steve, the owner, is as knowledgeable as one could be. Even more, he is honest (doesn’t try to charge you for things you don’t need or up sell you) and very reasonably priced.

I bought my second-hand RV to him with what seemed like an un-solvable overheating problem (3 mechanics and $4k in repairs hadn’t solved the issue), among other issues, and Steve got it running beautifully. My wife and I were able to drive our rig all over the west this summer from Wyoming to California to Washington and back without a single issue.

TL;DR take your rig to Steve and you’ll be glad you did!

We found Steve on the Aqua Hot Service locator, went to his place Friday and he said he could fix it Saturday morning. He repaired our Aqua HOt within the time frame he stated and it was lower than the price he quoted. We are from Illinois, and were very happy to have found Steve and get such fast and expert service. We had Steven do an annual on our Aquahot which required a new diesel filter and diesel nozzle plus a thorough cleaning of the flame sight sensor, the combustion chamber, adjusted the electrodes that initiate the combustion, and blew out the exhaust pipe. Steven performed the job efficiently in two hours and came to our site in a local RV park. The bill was just over $200 which is cheaper than most charge. Thanks Steven!

We highly recommend Snake River RV & Hitch! Steve is an honest, reasonable, and great RV Technician. He is Aquahot certified, but does many other general repairs as well, including a/c and heat pumps. Not much he can’t cover. He helped me remove and install a new DEF head on my Tiffin Motorhome. We had to pull the DEF tank, remove the old head, install the new one, and reinstall the tank. He will even give you advice about things if you ask. He will go out to Jackson Hole, Island Park, Star Valley, and the Idaho Falls and surrounding areas! Call Steve, you will be happy you did! Hank Smith

Had issues with our Aqua Hot while overnight in Idaho Falls. Called Steve, the owner, and he scheduled us for 2-1/2 hours later. Arrived at his shop, and he went right work. Diagnosed the problem, PLUS did a complete service of the system, including a major cleaning of components. He was finished in less than 3 hours, charged a fair price, and we were on our way. This morning, we received a text asking how the Aqua Hot was performing. The system works flawlessly, and we couldn't be happier with the service Steve performed for us on short notice.

We had a 95 trailer with a problem on the glide out. Steve was able to work around my schedule so could I could drop off the trailer and pick it up. He fixed it and got the job done quickly so we could be on our way. Prices were fair and I would definitely use Snake River RV again.

I had an old stock trailer that the bearings went out on. Steve got right after it and changed all the bearings and rewired the lights. He is very accommodating and really looks after your needs. I highly recommend this shop.

Excellent service had Steve fix are tip out and install an Anderson hitch. While he was doing that he noticed a couple other things that needed fixed. Which we are glad he noticed before we were out camping thank you for working on are 5th wheel.
