The Idaho Falls Plumbing Company

Home inspection said low water pressure in house may be caused by rusting pipes that may need to be replaced throughout the entire house. I called IF plumbing company for an estimate and in 5 minutes they diagnosed the problem which saved us thousands of dollars in what could have been a full house of pipe replacement costs! They did the right thing and told me how to fix the problem myself and how to fix it should it happen again. I highly recommend them.

We had such a great experience with these guys!! I will be recommending them to all friends and anyone else!! We had another company no show us, which was very frustrating! But these guys were quick to answer my questions and get out for a quote! They were prompt on the appointment time and able to help us with everything we needed done!
We had a list of things we wanted done, from new valves to sink hook ups and water softener install. They came and looked everything over, gave us a fair quote and were able to do everything on the spot! They were so good to walk me through everything and very thorough on making sure everything was installed correctly!! Very knowledgeable and professional! 10/10

My parents had a faucet break in their bathroom, we talked to several people and the team and The Idaho Falls Plumbing Company was amazing. They were quick to get out and give an estimate and then quick to get out and fix the issue so my parents had use of their shower again. They were not overpriced and the service was top notch. I would recommend them for any of your plumbing services.

Our sewer line was collapsing in on itself and had tree roots growing into it (Orangeburg pipe, likely original to the house). The Idaho Falls Plumbing Company came with a personal recommendation from our neighbor and they lived up to it. They gave us a reasonable quote, got the work done quickly, and communicated well with us throughout the process. Over a year later the new pipe is still working well. The only thing we would change is that we wouldn't have listened when they said to leave the dirt where they had it when they finished the job -- it did sink back in just like they said, but it was uneven. We would have evened it out a bit more while maintaining a small slope to compensate for the resettling, and it likely would have looked a bit smoother as it resettled. But the actual plumbing work they did was excellent.

They answered when no one else would. Realized my water heater was out and leaking at 6:30a and it was replaced by 2:00p. On the phone, Jamie couldn’t have been nicer and easier to work with. The guys she sent to the house were terrific. Also, plumbing is expensive! This group gave me a great rate.

I called this company because we needed to have a repair done on a leaking sink. They said they could be out the next morning! Awesome (so I thought).
They showed up the next day and wanted us to sign a MEMBERSHIP agreement!!! What the hell? No thank you!
Because we wouldn’t sign the membership agreement, the technician left without fixing our leak.
I called the office to see what was going on since NO ONE mentioned anything about this when scheduling service. The lady in the office confirmed that they do in fact require a membership for service to be performed. She said for liability or something. She said it was similar to a “gym membership”- ARE KIDDING ME!

Used them before for a water line for our fridge and we had a great experience. So we thought we would use them again to repair a shower, and possibly renovate or bathroom, as well as consult on a water heater installation. The first time we received the quote, and decided to wait and save for the repair, then booked it once we were ready. We decided against the remodel and just repair it. They came out and said our part we had purchased for the new shower was not correct.
Now that we have a new part, and book a new appointment, we are all of the sudden blacklisted. They have their excuses as to why, but they don't make sense.
An itemized list on charges is no reason to blacklist. Not having the right parts is no reason. Their claim is an unwilling and spiteful angry wife. Furthest from the truth. Glad we won't be dealing with them in the future. Hopefully we can help others from the same harassment.
Interestingly enough, they said they would unblacklist us, if we paid a retainer fee of $20k.... the same price as the remodel they had quoted. Strange.
Who puts their plumber on retainer? Talk about a sketchy company. Glad we are blacklisted.

I called yesterday afternoon after the gas company red tagged my water heater and asked if they could come replace it and they showed up this morning, got a new one installed quickly, and I had hot water by 10am. The technicians were friendly and professional and I really appreciate how fast I got service. Thank you!

I wasn't really impressed with this company. I have had bad experiences with plumbers in the past so was hoping this company to be different. I had a clogged drain downstairs and they spent four hours trying to unclog it to no avail. The next day when they came out, they decided to try and unclog it from the downstairs toilet. It took them about a half hour which was fantastic. The company has great employees but my bill was $1200.00. They charged me for the whole time they were there including the day before when it was not my problem that they tried for four hours to unclog the drain where they weren't supposed to. I called the owner but he said he could only give me a discount on the future project of digging and replacing new lines outside. So, overall, they so great work and are friendly but overpriced and unfair with their prices.

IFPC is professional and efficient. They completed their work quickly and were reasonably priced. They even pointed out some plumbing issues that we were entirely unaware of! We recommend them very highly!

Idaho Falls plumbing provided a quick response to a difficult plumbing issue. Brandon and Kayden were both very kind, professional, and provided thorough trouble shooting. They were able to figure out the issue was related to the main water line even after the water company said everything was good. The plumbers were able to get me the help I needed so that the water company corrected their error. Great service! Would highly recommend!

We went through IF Plumbing Co for a water heater replacement, water softener install, and to repair a leaking outdoor faucet. They were easy to get a hold of, and prompt (same day) in sending out someone to do a bid on the work. Jason noticed a few things that were not asked for on the bid and gave a price for that work without trying to push it on us. We didn't end up adding that extra, but it was nice to know approximately how much to budget for in the future.

Scheduling the actual work was faster than we anticipated, with the plumbers being able to come the following week (we were expecting a month wait). They were very professional and prompt, and took the time to do the work correctly, rather than just quickly. They also took the time to show us how to maintain the new water softener. The install took a little longer than I was expecting, but I'd rather have them take longer and do a good job, then rush and botch something up, which seemed to be the case here. They even went the extra mile and cleaned the aerator of the bathroom faucet to restore water pressure.

Overall I would happily use their services again in the future.

I recently had a water heater issue & they had someone out to replace it the next day. When they were there they notice a sump pump issue that could have been a disaster & fixed it too. I was out of town but the people working on the issues kept me completely informed with photographs of problems & finished work. The service was excellent.

I can't speak for the management, but they were quick to schedule clearing a clogged washing machine drain, the job took 20 minutes and the cost was $250 because apparently that's the minimum and cost for 1 hour. Checked around and most places quoted under $100, apparently we should have shopped around more

Daniel and Jose replaced a bath tub faucet. They were able to find a matching replacement and get the hardware installed at a reasonable price. They took the time to answer all of my questions and were very professional.

These guys did a phenomenal job! I had been without water for three days and could figure out the problem so I could turn the water back on. Jason came and had it figured out within thirty minutes. He and Cash and Matthew and Gabriel had me taken care of in no time. My house is old and needed to be replumbed. Since The Idaho Falls Plumbing Company had replaced my water main line a while back, I called them first to get a bid on replacing all the water lines. They did the job, and like I said, it's an old house. Interesting challenges arose and many return trips were required to retrofit solutions. Jason, Dwayne and Gabe made sure that the job got finished completely and correctly.

Idaho Falls Plumbing did an awesome job in my home! They added piping for a water line to the fridge, and it was done in a very timely manner. They came out to do a bid on it and were able to get it done all in the same day. I am so pleased with my experience with this company ... my fiance and I needed a new water heater and of course I had no idea what to do ....We weren't sure what to get where to go and I about gave up hope on getting it taken care of and I was so stressed out .... These guys came out to install a shower/tub for us awhile back. The contractor had to cut out the drywall in the adjacent room to get at the water pipes. First cut he made was totally on the wrong side of the wall so had to do a second cut. So I had two large 2 foot holes in the drywall in the adjoining room when they were done with the plumbing work. Said he’d come back the next day to patch them and never showed up. I tried calling a few times and got no response after leaving multiple VMs and text messages. After a week, I gave up and patched them myself. Unprofessional and amateur. Would not recommend.

The plumber that they had call me at 3:00 on a Friday was rude and didn't want to do the job because he had weekend plans so he made me feel stupid for even calling. I went with someone else who was more than happy to do the work for me.

We had these guys come out to look at our pond fill that was leaking. 1st they didnt ask us if we wanted them to use a mask to enter our home...they didnt even have one (2 guys came). We provided them masks. Then within 5 minutes of being there, they asked if they could use our restroom. Do your business before coming into a clients home! We then showed them our mechanical room where the plumbing was for pond fill. Left them down there to assess situation. They said they needed parts, so left to go get them. After thinking about the mask/bathroom issue we decided we did not want them back in our home because if they were that unprofessional about Covid related issues (I take care of my elderly mother and have to be very careful) , then how professional and equipped are they to actually do the work. Fast forward some days later, I walk into my basement...carpet flooded. I go in mechanical room and a faucet was left on. It ended up flooding the mechanical room and then out into living quarters. My husband and I have not been down there since, until today. We do not have any kids at home, so we dont go down very often. I called them, and the end of the discussion with owner was, "get a new plumber". He said their guys dont leave faucets running, but we dont go in that room. Hmmmm guess someone snuck in at night and turned the faucet on at a steady stream. DONT USE THEM!!!!!! Very unprofessional!

I've used Idaho Falls Plumbing Company a couple of times in the last few weeks, first for a water heater and water softener install and more recently to reposition some water and drain lines for a total renovation that we're doing on our master bathroom. In all cases, they've been a great company to deal with. Jason in particular has been awesome at communicating, something we've found lacking with some other contractors in the region. When there was something a little tricky to go over, Chad (the owner) came out himself to review what needed to be done. All in all I'm totally satisfied and they are now my go-to plumbers if I need anything done. (Props to Weston and Rick, too!)

Weston was great and very professional! The problem was resolved and he was down the road 1.5 hours after the initial phone call was made. Very quick response time!

When concerns about our sump pump arose, we called them. They quickly came, assessed the problem, and scheduled an appointment for 2 days later to replace it (because it was not an emergency situation). The day of our appointment we received a call from Will to verify the time he and his coworker would arrive. They worked efficiently and professionally. When they were finishing they spotted a connection in the area that was not previously correctly done. They volunteered to fix that at no charge, even though they had to go get the fitting at the supply house and come back to complete it. Nice work, guys!

I am very appreciative of Chad for the stand up guy he is. I had a little mishap and he really came through. He made it better than I imagined. I have used this company for several projects in my house and my daughters. They are great to work with, fair in pricing, and do quality work.

They replaced the water lines under my house, added a spigot on the outside of the house, replaced all the cpvc with pex pipes, changed shower and hook up to washer, plus many other jobs I added at the last minute and they did it without a hesitation. I’m so impressed with them that I highly recommend them to everyone.

Jason was seriously awesome. He definitely knows what he is doing and very easy to talk to. Excavated and replaced main water line - also took care of some things advanced home services did not (included in excavation costs) added a “washer box” in the wall by washer and dryer, added an expansion tank to hot water heater and removed an arbitrary drain pipe.

I called them on a Tuesday- they came out the next day to assess and quote me. Came on Thursday to do the job, but had too big of an excavator for between houses. Came back Friday and completed the job! Owner came and walked through the job and offered to have Jason come back Monday to add the expansion tank and remove drain hose. Jason is awesome! He took care of the whole process with me- kept me calm and in a good mood while some major work was happening.

I'm pretty surprised that this company has so many good reviews. We have not had the best experience.
Over a year ago we got a bid on a project to remove our outdoor pumphouse and move it indoors. The bid came in around $2600. We saved up that plus a little extra in case it went a little over.
We called them to have them do the project and I was impressed that they were there starting the project within a couple days. The whole crew stayed and worked the whole day and late into the night. They finished the project the next day in the pouring rain.
This is when the problems began. First, they gave us the bill and it came out to $6,000...over double what they quoted!
The other problem was they filled in the trench when the rain was pouring and the ground was saturated. This caused water to come into the basement and the carpet had to be torn out. We called them and have come out twice and haven't been able to fix it.
We called them again and they had a new idea on how to fix it and said they'd be out that week.
Now it's been several weeks and several phone calls and they are not responding. They are no longer returning our calls and we've gone over 9 months with no carpet in one bedroom because water is still coming in.
Due to our experience we will not recommend or use their services again!

Jason is great. He came out and gave us a bid on getting our sewer replaced. He was very forthcoming about all our options and willing to help us with everything. This company even offered to replace a couple of things on them. Great people.

Would be a 5, but it was a hurry job, installed main line to house, when they filled it in after separating the driveway asphalt from the dirt, they just threw it in with the dirt and large air pockets were formed, this caused large sink holes to form under my camper that sunk in about two feet and took the better part of a week to dig out. The pipe install was great, the finishing not so much...

I called this morning at 11 to make an appointment, my schedule is really limited I had time at 3:00 and they took my appointment, were here on time worked fast to fix the problem even took extra time to fix my garbage disposal even though they originally came to fix something completely different in my house, super happy with this company I highly recommend them

I had a large leak in my basement, and I called The Idaho Falls Plumbing Company. They showed up when they said they would, they assessed the problem and gave me a bid, they fixed the issue immediately for the quoted price, and I have had no problems since. It is nice when something that gave me a lot of stress has been fixed, and I don't need to worry any more.

They fixed a broken water line 24 hours before we were closing on our house. They were quick, clean, well priced and did an amazing job. Even saved our sidewalk pretty well.

I just had this company come and install the bathroom plumbing in my basement. Every aspect of it was a great experience. The price was competitive, the work was very good quality, they were prompt, very capable and competent in their trade, and got it done quick. I will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs. Great contractor to use for plumbing and well worth every cent.

Sadly, I had a terrible experience with this company for a water heater installation. Their employee, Kenyon, did shoddy work which leaked. When he was called out on it and asked to fix it, he tried charging us a full service fee and parts fees to fix his mistake.

Further, he tried to shift the responsibility for his negligence onto me, saying I should have noticed his mistake sooner.

He “fixed” the issue, which then had to be remedied further by a plumber from a different company. I did not feel comfortable having Kenyon or another one of their employees in my home again.

I chose this company based on their online reviews. I wish I’d had an experience that matched my expectations.
