I am from Harrington delaware. My 1973 vett tossed 3 belts. They came across street to get me underway with new belts ans installed a new battery also. I will go see them for the rest of my time here . Best service in town. I also had to return today for another issue. They stepped up on a Friday afternoon and tool care of me asap. If you are a veteran or active duty military or a someone just passing through Harrington. You stop by and see anyone there. They are smittys on the spot. American legion is across the street so hang out if you are a member but they are so good and honest they need an award for excellence in all they do every day. Best seen to date in kent County. Very professional vehicle repair shop. Quick to inform you of repair needs and associated cost which are very reasonable. Vehicles are always completed when promised. Matt the shop leader is very knowledgeable on all models and manufacturers. Highly recommend Smitty's for all your vehicles needs.

Car broke down in Harrington at the fair, so we got it towed to Smitty's. We came in when they opened the next morning without an appointment but needed to get home to Philadelphia later that day. They found room to squeeze us in within 3 hours of getting there. Car works perfect and at an extremely reasonable price. Especially coming in as a teenage girl, I didn’t feel ripped off by them. Highly recommend.

Found myself running over a huge screw pulling into town today (Saturday). The Smitty’s crew took care of me right at closing time on a busy weekend day, patching me up and getting me back on the road. Everyone was very friendly and got a great price, plus they stayed late to help me out and get me back on the road. Thanks guys!

What a nice company and shop. My alternator died as I was driving home through the area. I was 3+ hours away, unfamiliar with the area. They were nice enough to stay open a little later than 5 so that I could get home without needing a hotel. Thanks !

The battery light in our car came on while we were driving home to NY and Smittys was the only garage in the town that could fit us in. He replaced our alternator in just over 1hr when usually it would take 2hrs. The rates were also amazing and cheaper than expected. Absolutely wonderful service and kind employees.

Yesterday, I was on my way to an interview when I noticed I had a flat tire. All of the gas stations near my home that offered air were broken. I was so stressed thinking I wasn’t going to make to my interview on time. I started traveling north to see if the next town had a working air compressor. I came across this place and almost could cry. I was able to receive fast and outstanding service. Thanks to the staff here, I was able to make my interview on time and receive the job offer. I plan to return for my future car service needs going forward. I don’t care if I have to wait months to be seen. Thank you all for everything you do.

Great experience the staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable Tony's a good guy with a lot of knowledge I highly recommend taking your car or truck here.

Was camping in town with my RV and had a hub leak, stopped in to ask some questions regarding the leak so I knew how to handle it, fix it myself or bring it somewhere. Two ladies working the front counter were very nice and the mechanic came out and listened to my problem then gave advice on how to fix it, even offered to do it if I had an issue. Great people here, seems like family owned, and treated us out of state New Yorkers very well. Recommend supporting this small business!!!

Tony is always very knowledgeable and is accurate with his diagnosis. I take all my vehicles to him and have never been disappointed.

Smitty's auto repair is excellent. You can tell Tony how the car is acting up and he will tell you what it sounds like but you have to bring the car in so he can check it out.
He is honest and tell you what is what with the car and give a honest estimate. If he has to locate the problem he will call you let you know what it is and how much it will cost and ask fot the ok before he does anything.
I have been with Smitty's for the past 6-7 yrs. Couldn't ask for better.
