We was in desperate need of answers on some troubles we were having with our house holding in heat and moisture. I called Smithrock and they came to inspect the issues within a few days of my initial call. Shane is the sweetest and most respectful fella I've probably ever met! They came back with a very fair estimate and when they came to do the job they were in and out in under 2 hours. The nicest folks! We have very much enjoyed their services from start to finish. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Our house is a fixer upper & currently has no power due to being a fire hazard from outdated electrical wiring. Thus, we have the power cut off to the entire house other than one wall in the back of the house. I was unaware that in order to complete our job: soffit, fascia boards, gutters, and roof, they needed an outdoor power outlet. When they were scheduled to come by to begin the job, I received an email stating things that they needed. I noticed one of the items listed was access to a power outlet. I immediately called the office and spoke with Brittany and explained our situation. She agreed to get back with me on the answer to that since she wasn’t sure if it is necessary or not.

She later text me and said “Hannah, spoke with them and we won’t need electricity.” This made me assume that we for sure did not need electricity. If I’m remembering correctly, I was also confirmed this via phone call with her.

In my time communicating with the business, I have stated many times that I have a job where I am unable to be on my phone except for lunch. Fast forward to the day of our job. I received a call while at work that morning from the project manager, Blake. He kind of came off as rude to me. I may have read too much into it or just had been frustrated with the situation, but it’s just the situation that was not ideal. The reason he called was to tell me that they needed a power outlet and there wasn’t one outside. I once more explained the situation. He said he was not aware and this was incorrect information I was given. He stated they did need a power outlet & asked if I could come let them into our house to access the outlet. Well, I have stated many times at this point that I have a job. I can’t just leave work as most people can not. I told him I could maybe be there at 6pm & he said he “will be gone by then.” It was just not a great phone call for me and not the best way to start my workday. The call ended by him saying he guesses he will figure it out. This made me feel quite frustrated.

They ended up having to come back a second day. On this day, they did not do some of the tasks that they said they would do, so my husband had to call them to request they come back out. Taylor was very kind and stepped in to help here. They did come out and fix the issue, but it was just not ideal having to ask them to.

I wanted to make excuses for them and say “it was just an off day” or “a misunderstanding”, etc. but I felt this way throughout basically the whole process. I give a 10/10 for the job itself, but the communication/customer service needs a little work in my opinion.

We had a small area that needed a repair from squirrels. Smithrock was a pleasure to deal with from scheduling the estimate to the final work done. Quotes I received from other companies were ridiculously expensive and clearly they were interested in taking advantage of the customer. Smithrock’s quote was perfectly in line with what the job should cost. I had a very positive experience with Smithrock. I highly recommend them.

Just have finished having my roof repaired by them. Company was excellent and the workers they sent on site did a phenomenal job. Only issue we had was their vehicle was bogged down in the grass from the rain storms and in towing it out my yard was damaged. Workers onsite had already contacted their owner and started the claim to get a landscaper onsite to fix the yard by the time they told me about it. Other than some grass damage they made the house/roof look good as new, quality of their work and integrity went above and beyond my expectations. Will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who needs work done.

I can’t endorse Smithrock Roofing enough. My roof was getting old and I knew it needed to be replaced. I kept putting it off because I feared the cost and the hassle. I read the reviews for Smithrock Roofing and requested a quote. A couple of days later Caleb was there to inspect my roof and give me a quote. The quote was less than I expected, even with adding in replacing 4 skylights. They replaced my roof and it looks great. They were very professional and did a good job cleaning up.

We recently had our roof, gutters, and downspouts replaced by Smithrock Roofing due to storm damaged. The first thing that stood out to me was their honest. Shane from Smithrock was honest and upfront. Prior to him assessing our home he said that if there is damage he would point it out and if no damage he would share that as well. What this demonstrated to me was honesty and integrity. We ended up having damage and Smithrock was very helpful in working with our insurance. They completed the job and the finished product exceeded our expectations. They were on time, professional and kept a clean job site. We recently had our roof replaced by Smithrock Roofing, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Shane was our first point of contact — extremely professional, straightforward, and not pushy or too salesy. Smith rock Roofing put the most beautiful roof on my house! Even before they did there was a huge two day tropical storm that came through, they sent workers out there to where we had bad damage from a hailstorm to put a tarp on!before also not only did they do that they put beautiful gutters around our house and went to bat for me but my insurance was a pain and sometimes very ugly they still went to bat and got our house finished thank you Smith Rock Roofing I would do it all over again. Smithrock Roofing is top notch. When I called they had someone out to me within 24-48 hours for an estimate. Once I received the estimate and spoke with Payton I was confident they would do a great job. We replaced the shingles over our front porch due to moss accumulating since the sun does not hit that part of the roof. During the project encountered a few issues that were related to the builder of the home that we have been in for 17 years. Payton and his team took their time and corrected the issues until we were happy with the results. I purchased my home earlier this year and the roof was newer and passed inspection with no issues. With this last heavy rain from Hurricane Helene I noticed some discoloration on one of the walls near the ceiling and figured that there was some sort of leak in the roof. I searched roofing under several Facebook pages and everyone had really good things to say about Smithrock Roofing. They stood out, so I gave them a shot. They came out to do a quote for repairs and it ended up being a simple repair. Caleb was professional, on time, and had great communication. Since it was an easy repair he was able to fix it on the spot, and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend them if you need anything done.

Shane came by to give us a roofing estimate but ending up climbing up in our attic and telling us our roof was fine. He checked for leaks and damage and honestly told us he didn't need to sell us a roof we didn't need. We would love to contact Smithrock again for future projects!

My story is probably like many others— I found a spot on my ceiling indicative of a roof leak and panic set in. I started making calls to several companies and Smithrock responded right away- they were able to come check it out that same week. Caleb spent almost an hour looking everything over, taking pictures, talking me through the process and answering my million questions. I never felt like he was pressuring me into a roof replacement or to use his company in general. The interaction was very honest and genuine.

Absolutely Amazing customer service. Our roof started leaking during the last big storm and the crew came out the same day to patch the hole. Then proceeded to work with our insurance to make sure we got everything we needed. We had an obscure leak in which the source was not completely clear. Caleb and his team made sure the whole side of the house got sealed up, they installed larger gutters, and they made it look fantastic. Their quote was very reasonable too. We are very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for future projects.

Honestly the best experience with a contractor I have ever had.
I've had work done by SmithRock Roofing a couple times now, and both times the process has been simple, straightforward, and painless. Payton is awesome at communication, always shows up when he says he will and always responds to my emails and texts. My most recent repair was relatively extensive and included pulling siding off of an exterior wall to replace the wood and insulation underneath. The SmithRock crew showed up at 8:30 AM and finished the entire repair in a day, even working in the rain at one point. They even took pictures so that I could see the extent of the damage inside the wall.

The icing on the cake, though, is that they cleaned up the mess at the end of the job. There was no evidence at all that they had even been there! Like anyone who owns an older home, I've hired my share of contractors, but SmithRock has been the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. When it comes time for another repair, or a full roof replacement, I know who I'm calling!

From setting up the initial appointment this company has been great to do business with. Great customer service and even better personal service. They came and explained what they thought was wrong with our roof and did not push services that we didn't need. The work they performed was excellent and I will refer them to anyone I know that needs any roof work done. What a blessing to have good business like this one providing services in our area.
