Smith Roofing did an excellent job installing my new roof and I'm pleased with the quality of the tile and the expert installers to include Israel who offered photos of the new plywood installed. George Smith was responsive and his crew was top notch, professional during the installation clearing the area of debris/nails and ensuring tile was properly installed. I would definitely recommend this company to other homeowners.

I left voicemails with four roofers on a Sunday when businesses were closed about a small leak that I suspected in my roof. George Smith himself got back to me that day and they fixed three small possible issues the next day for practically nothing. Three days later and still none of the other companies even returned my call.

I suspected a roof leak and found this company through neighborhood FB recommendation. He got me on the schedule the next day, provided clear communication on expected arrival time and gave an HONEST solution to the small needed repair. Another contractor (replacing neighbor's roof) told me I needed to replace ten shingles on my four year old roof. This company provided me clear pictures proving the repair area was less than one shingle. Reasonable price. Would use again.

White roofing stopped a leak left by a poor roofing job done by another company. Will use White Roofing for any future roof work.

George was so great to work, he took care of our leak, and isn't one of the money grubbing companies that will "only do full roof replacements." Highly highly recommend. He came our right away, took pictures explained everything he was doing, and provided a reasonable price to fix our leak right away.

Had a great experience with these roofers. I had a smallish leak in the (pretty new) roof, and they took the time to have two people come out to identify the problem, and they identified it well even though it was a weird issue (a small piece of misinstallation from the original roof causing a slow leak).

They were up front on price, did not upsell, and gave me a clear work schedule and checked in every Friday on the work schedule coming up. Needed no hand holding when the work took place, and did a good job.

George did our roof 22 years ago and it only failed this year due to hail and wind damage. We hired a roofer a friend used and we had all sorts of issues! I wish we had hired Smith Roofing!

Wow! They were ready to do the roof within 3 weeks. When I told him that any day worked except one because they were redoing our driveway…they came out within 3 days and had it done. An entire roof that looks BEAUTIFUL! And cleaned everything up before leaving!

Hired to stop rainwater from skidding off of roof. Assured me that they would fix problem without difficulty. Performed the work, but the problem persisted. After numerous unanswered calls to return, they wanted significant additional money to fix the problem including labor. No recognition that they failed the first time. The manager remarked that I got all that I bargained for. Unprofessional all the way.

Met with George on a Thursday, he had our new shingles and other supplies delivered the next day, and the crew got everything installed the following Monday. Cleanup was great. This was a hassle-free experience. Price was at the lower end of what we expected. I would recommend to friends and family. Thanks, George!

I called regarding a leak in our upstairs attic. They sent Antonio out the same day, who was able to identify the problem as a leak with the plumbing vent instead of the roof. He answered all my questions and recommended I contact a plumber for my repair. Afterwards, Mr. Smith contacted us via phone to make sure we understood what next steps to take to prevent home damage. I am reviewing them because they were courteous and helpful, and honest with what the problem could be. We will definitely reach out to them again for any future roof needs because of their knowledge, honesty, and consideration.

George and his team were the best customer/contractor experience we have ever had. George came out right away and gave us a fair and accurate estimate. He was upfront, honest, and did not try to up-sell us at all. He was also super responsive and even did a drive by of a roof we were admiring to try and help us pick the right color. The day of the install, his crew was on-time, efficient, and did a great job of cleaning up. The finished product looks great and we are so pleased. I would not hesitate at all to recommend him and his team to anyone!

I needed new coping on my parapet. The owner himself came out to do the estimate, and offered to add on other projects. For the same price as another company to do just the coping, they were able to do that and also to redo the flashing around my chimney. They were also very responsive to a follow-up concern I had.

George and his team are the best value in the DC area for roofing imho. Early on, George was upfront that he "puts on roofs" and isn't a sales guy, so he doesn't waste your time going through all the different options/upgrades. He's been in the business long enough to know what works and that's what he do. Smith roofing cares about quality, and he was the most responsive for getting back to me about all my questions. End result was absolutely beautiful, 1 year in with all the heavy rains and not a drop to see anywhere.

I am really happy with the work done by Smith Roofing. George was incredibly accommodating in terms of timing, and his pricing was the best out of 4 quotes I obtained. His team did a great job with the installation and our yard was spotless when they left. I recommend this company without hesitation.

Hands down, one of the best customer experience I've had in the DMV! On Friday evening, Smith's roofing responded to my request within an hour, when all roofers in North Virginia were closed. To top it off, they had a crew come out soon after the weekend and repaired my roof leak and defective Dryer vent within two hours. The crew was kind, respectful, and kept me informed on all the work that was to be done. They cleaned up after themselves as if nothing happened. Highly recommended for all homeowners!

We had a great experience with George and his team. We got 4 quotes and it was nice to work with someone who wasn't planning the sales games. His quote wasn't the lowest but very reasonable. We had a couple of small complaints and the team came back the next day to make sure we were happy.

I used Smith Roofing to do my roof on Marshall Pond Road. He did a fast, high quality job, showed up when he said he was going to, and added some extra touches such as replacing my attic fan with a full ridgevent (a greener solution) and painting the exhaust pipes to match the shingles. It looks great, and he did it all for a very reasonable price: at least $4k less than what my neighbor paid for a slightly smaller roof last year!

Awesome customer service. Highly recommend. I had a leak in my roof and they sent a guy out and had my issue fixed in only a few hours. Very responsive and kept me updated throughout the day with text messages and photos of before and after.

Smith Roofing recently replaced the roof on my house in Burke and did an excellent job. The owner George Smith is himself a roofer and very knowledgeable and will come to give you an estimate. The estimate was very good value as compared to the other estimates received. More importantly the crew doing the work is done by experienced workers having more than 15 years doing roofing work for George Smith and not by subcontractors. The owner, George, responded very quickly and thoroughly explained the process via email and phone. The estimate George provided was very reasonable and he scheduled the work for days that would fit into my tight schedule. George's crew did an incredible job on replacing the roof. They were safe, efficient, skilled, and courteous. They cleaned up at the end of the first day and thoroughly cleaned the yard after the work was completed on the second day. All in all, George and his crew are professional, honest, skilled, efficient, friendly, and worth every dollar. I recommend Smith Roofing to all of my friends and family.

They are a godsend and they know their stuff!!! I bought my house new 6 years ago. Ever since then, i have had leaks multiple times/yr after almost every major storm or high winds. Even had some of my shingles blow off and damage neighbors cars. The original roofer contracted by my association blamed it on the position of my townhouse style condo and its subjectivity to wind. I didnt buy it and finally requested a new roofer. Smith roofing was called and they immediately saw that my shingles were incorrectly installed (nailed too high so any high winds would rip the shingles off my roof). When it finally got warm, Smith roofing came out and replaced the entire roof (May 2015) and Ive had no leaks or blown shingles yet (there's has been a few high wind storms). They even thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. He is very busy and took longer than expected to come out and replace the roof, but made up for it with the quality of work. It was worth the wait.
