I have used Smith and Company twice now. The first was a couple years ago for a large interior project. This time was for my deck and a door exterior project. Felipe worked on both those projects and does excellent work! He is careful and detailed. Also, he's delightful to talk to and I appreciate his friendliness. Daniel was also part of the crew this time and was a hard worker and committed to get things done quickly and well. The next time I have a painting project to be done, I will call Smith and Co again!

From the estimate to the follow up, Smith and Company Painting were amazing. Greg, who did the estimate, was prompt, professional, and conscious of our concerns and had a plan that not only saved us money, but also a lot of time.Greg also came out and did some painting to help ensure it would be done on time. Alex, who did the repairs, was fantastic, funny and did a great job. Now the painters...I think of them as my friends! Corbin, Ian, and Amelio(still not sure if I'm spelling this correctly), my ghost adventure friend, were amazing. They are courteous, respectful of our home and our pets and treated me with the kind of respect I thought was long gone! A great crew of guys. Just great. Corbin, stopped by to deal with an issue with our garage door opener and not only did he fix it, but he got features to work that hadn't worked before. Amazing! Even the owner, Parker, stopped by to check in and was a true delight. I just can't say enough about this company. If you have painting needs, Smith and Company Painting is who you need to call. I'm very late in sitting down to this review, but these guys are very deserving of a great review! My job was problematic with the concrete pad in my garage being well aged and worn. When the crew showed up to do the job they noticed the potential difficulties immediately and Felipe was great about explaining what those were and set my expectations for the finished product. Out of the contractors that we've had at our place over the last year, Smith and Company was by far the most pleasant and straight forward to go through the entire process with. From the estimation to planning the dates on site and completing the job with excellent site cleanup. Everything was a breeze. Can't say the same for other contractors that didn't even come to the door to let us know they were there before starting their work. Most other contractors left messes that either I or my wife had to cleanup afterwards. All this to say these guys far exceeded our expectations and I will definitely be using them in the future for my projects. Also to make sure the crew members get credit for being great that day, Felipe and Pedro were the guys we had on our job and both were professional and amazing to work with.

Smith and Company Painting recently finished my garage floor and it came out great! Filipe came by when scheduled and worked hard all day to get the floor done. And Greg was great organizing and getting my project completed. Definitely recommend.

My kitchen was recently painted by Smith Painting. The process began with Greg Fast coming to my home to review my space in order to provide a cost estimate of the project. He was very pleasant & thorough as we looked at the at work to be done. I received the estimate promptly & was given a date when the work would begin. As there was a project cancellation, my project began earlier than expected. My kitchen is a large space with walls extending into a loft. There was much to be moved.I did some of the moving but the painters, Corbin & Tim were very helpful in moving things I couldn’t & in taking art off the walls that I couldn’t reach. Corbin & Tim were also very pleasant…they were quick & very neat. When finished, they hung my art & put furniture back into place. I was extremely happy with the work completed and would not hesitate to have Smith Painting do further work in my house.

Wonderful company with talented and reliable workers. Alex did an incredible job of both painting 3 walls and prepping one for wallpaper. He even stayed late to be sure he could easily finish the job on the second day. He's a keeper!

We are in the process of moving to Lincoln City where finding painters is a little more difficult. We felt lucky to come upon Smith and Company Painting. They were willing to travel to Lincoln City. Alex and Austen were both very nice and did a great job painting the entire interior of our house. They worked very fast also which was really fortunate since we had floor installers coming the next week. Alex also offered to touch up a few areas that the floor installers messed up. As always Parker Painting did not disappoint. Eventhough this was a small project, Alex treated the job as if it was a 10 day exterior project. An annoying trim board replacement due to woodpecker damage 2.5 stories up...Alex still smiled and laughed. Completed the task and made it look as if nothing happened. I enthusiastically recommend Smith and Company! They painted the exterior of our home and did a phenomenal job. I obtained 3 bids on the project from local companies and their bid was very competitive. Greg was great - he came out and performed the initial bid and walked the exterior with me going over the various details of the work to be done in the development of their proposal and later, after acceptance, helped us in the final decision of colors. The painting crew, Alex and Austin, were absolutely amazing. From the prep work and replacement of rotting wood trim and pillar bases all the way through to finalization. I am very happy I hired Smith and Company Painting to paint the exterior of my house. The job entailed painting the painted cedar siding, brickwork and trim.
Some of the challenges faced were the paint was cracked, peeling and missing paint on all of my soffits. Those challenge were quickly fixed.
Alex and Austin were amazing painters. They worked well, and exceeded my expectations as they treated my house like it was their house. In the end my house looks amazing, paint is well adhered to all surfaces and my soffits problem spots are not problems any more.

We purchased a 1985 fixer house in McMinnville that had the original solid core brown doors, base and window trim that were in need of painting to help brighten and update the house. After being let down by a garage flooring company that suddenly went out of business, I was led to a local business, Smith and Company and their estimator, Greg Fast. Their appointment system is automated and they were there right on time to explain their non-epoxy floor coating process and take measurements. Greg stayed in touch as we worked out the details. The quoted price was reasonable and easy to handle online. Because my house is undergoing renovations, Greg also helped squeeze scheduling the garage floor project between subcontractors. On the day of the installation, the boss even came out to discuss options for applying the floor coating. I appreciated his technical guidance and suggestions. The finished product is gorgeous and I'm looking forward to enjoying it for a long time.

Had a special refab project to do. Job was bid and stayed within the budget and bid. Was projected to be done in Mid September, but due to another cancellation - 3 crews came down and did the work in 2 days. 100% clean up and not one issue.

I used this company to install an epoxy floor in my new barn bathroom, and they did an incredible job. Crew was on time and completed the project in one day. Very pleased with the experience.

I was so impressed by the crew that painted our house. They were on time every day, worked hard, communicated any issues that came up and each day before leaving cleaned up the area and had their supplies and ladders gathered together and out of our way. I'm absolutely thrilled with my fresh new garage floor. Greg from Smith & Co came out promptly for an estimate and explained everything they would need to do with my severely cracked old concrete floor. I felt very prepared for the actual work by the time the weather cooperated enough to give us some dry days. Filipe and Pedro did an INCREDIBLE job leveling out the floor and repairing cracks. I was asking questions and they answered while working through the hot day. They were done in about 6 hours and the floor looks amazing now. I highly recommend this company- they were communicative, kind and followed through on all the work as promised.

Smith and Company does not do exterior painting of Portland homes, despite what their website states!

I scheduled an estimate with Smith and Company for exterior painting of my house, and provided my address. After receiving four separate reminders of my appointment, via email and text message, I got a voicemail the day of the appointment that they were cancelling my appointment because they don't do exterior residential painting in Portland. It would have been nice to know that before I cleared my calendar.

We love how our house turned out! It looks brand new on the outside now! The employees were kind, helpful and on time. It was overall a great experience and I would recommend Smith & Co for your next painting project!

Parker was learning all the aspects of the trade from his father on the supplies and materials to apply paint the correct way. Parker's father had a tremendous reputation for being one of the finest painters in our area.
