Very honest, professional, and knowledgeable
company. Their price was the best out of three estimates and they didn't hesitate to travel to Suffolk, Va to replace my roof. Also they finished the job in one day. I would recommend SlopeScope to anyone. I'm very pleased with the results.

I had a roof that was installed by the contractor approximately 6 years ago. Recently I discovered a small leak at a plumb vent and the contractor was there within 2 days to make the repair. Great price and they stand behind their product. Highly recommended.

The roof may be the scariest part of your house and the part most often taken for granted. Don’t fall victim to the old ways of roof repairs. Alden and John will give you an honest evaluation of your roof and educate you so that you can make the best decision both for your house and for your finances. The best part is that they will manage any repairs needed so that you don’t have to deal with contractors and you know that the work is done right. I am so thankful to have such professional and honest people in my corner.

Roofing is the part of the building envelop that must be secure to protect other parts of the exterior so that we maintain healthy interior environments. Slope Scope understands the nuances of roofing connections and the material science associated with building products through years and years of hands on roofing. The service they provide is precise, defined and provides long term cost savings. Slope Scope has become my go to resource when I have a roofing issue or question.

I had a tree fall on my house and the insurance company seem to be weird about everything so I called slope scope and we ended up getting everything settled through the insurance company

Alden & John came to my home to look at the shape of my roof. After a detailed and through hands-on inspection, they reviewed the findings with me personally going over the general condition as well as the areas of concern. They were upfront and candid with the findings & recommendations.

As promised, they sent me an electronic version of the report later the same afternoon with specifics on everything they saw during the inspection.

I appreciated the professional nature of both Alden & John during the entire process as they respected my time, educated me with their knowledge and provided a detailed final report.

What a great idea and a great team. They take the worry out of roof work by working for the homeowner, not the owner of the roofing company.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
