Had the pleasure of hiring Zak and his team to replace my roof. The whole experience was unexpected. They were able to help me with a tight deadline while I had an active leak, and Zak and his team’s professionalism is something I wish all contractors had.
Some highlights of my experience: Zak NEVER used fear mongering about structural damage on my roof over some simple board and nail pop, while pushing for a large insurance claim.
The roof warranty wasn’t contingent on replacing my gutters through his company.
His quote/proposal included the small area over my bay window, which I had completely forgotten about.
He showed up on the agreed day for the quote, and so did his crew on installation day.

I started with just replacing the shingles but I discovered that my plywood was rotten. Chris assured me that his team take of it. The removed all the shingles and plywood and replaced everything. Slavin made it effortless. They handled everything. I highly recommend them.

We recently hired them to replace our roof and they did such an amazing job. They arrived at our house Bright and early and got right to it. They took the time to help move and cover items close to the house that we couldn’t move to help insure they stayed safe and intact during the roof removal process. Everyone was so nice and really Helpful and honest. Brian and Chris where helpful throughout the whole process and did an amazing job keeping us up to date on everything. These guys know their business. I wasn’t even in the state, had them do a roof on a rental property. My management company said everything was great and better than he’s seen before. Competitive price, job done above standards and when they left it looked as if no one had been there. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are very professional. Owner Zak is very friendly and listens to you and your concerns and takes care of the job extremely well. We changed our roof after 32 yearrs. They replaced some of the plywood as a precaution, installed gutter guards and the whole works and it all got done in one day. All plants adjoining the house were appropriately protected and the outside was squeaky clean. No one would have found sucha big job took place here.

Zak Slavin himself came to evaluate and estimate my roof for replacement. I saw his company was located in my town. I like to support local. He and his crew arrived promptly to start the job. So impressive!
He stated he would start at 7am. At 645 his manager arrived to meet the dumpster truck for 7am. At 7:15 the material was delivered and his large crew of 15 men followed. It was literally like a symphony. I have a slightly complex roof design and they did a meticulous job. Very neat and organized. The edges are all perfect. If I could give Mr. Slavin and his crew a higher rating than 5 stars, I would!

I hired Slavin Home improvement to do my roof. From the second I met Zak, I could tell he had the customers best interest as top priority, and best of all was not pushy wanting me to sign a contract that day which the two other roofing companies I had bid the job tried to get me to do.

The day of the roof replacement, we were expecting rain about 1:30 PM. Zaks two Project Managers and crew showed up at 6:45am and 5 minutes later there were 5 guys on my roof stripping the old shingles off. They worked nonstop and got the roof finished before the rain started.

Zak was such a good guy to work with that my father also hired Zak and crew to do his roof. My father and I are both very happy with the work that was done on our houses.

Slaven Roofing is excellent! The did my 3200 sq ft home in one day and I have complex pitches across the roof line an all sides. Great team of roofers who work hard and as one team! I nicked named Danny as "Danny the Dreamer" because he was so optimistic that his guys could replace 44 squares of roofing in one day. Over the house and barn/shed. The quys completed the roof and did a thorough cleaning of the property. Danny's communion skills are superior and made this stressful experience somewhat calm. 23 sheets of plywood were replaced.

As part of the preparation they installed ice shield over the entire roof before installing the new shingles
With a large and skilled crew the entire project was completed quickly and the cleanup excellent
