Slate Creek Contracting Services

Well Slate creek was referred to us by our insurance company for water damage from a broken water pipe. However Slate Creek commented many times how they were not trusting of our insurance company and would not give us an estimate until they knew how much money we were getting and what repairs were recommended by the insurance company. I couldn't understand why he couldn't come out and give us an estimate. But he insisted he needed to see what the insurance company was offering first. When I question him about that he got all offended and told me to find somebody else. Seems kind of funny to me that the guy can't just come give an estimate without seeing how much the insurance company was given us or what their recommendations were. Either which way whether something needs to be fixed or not fixed. More work or less work. We still have to pay. Seems like a strange way to do business. Show me how much money is there for the taking first and then I'll decide how much to charge you. Of course maybe that's not his position, but if that was the case why wouldn't you just come give an estimate. Anyways, Happy for everybody else that seems to have good service from this company but I certainly won't be recommending them.

Water line broke in our kitchen. Slate Creek was referrered by our insurance adjuster. They did a great job. Listened to our concerns, needs and desires, to get our home restored. Pete and the crew were professional and courteous! If the need ever arises we would use their services again!

Slate Creek Contracting Services has a caring group of competent employees. It doesn't matter what time of the day or night fire, wind, or water damage happens, Slate Creek will be there ASAP to do the clean up and stabilizing.
