Slade’s gutters was great! He came same day as I called. Super helpful, did a great job! Will be using him again!

Called three companies to clean gutters. Got told 2 weeks wait from two of them and a voicemail from Slade. Slade called me back and said he could be there same day. In and out. No problems at all. Blew the debris out of the yard and fixed a loose satellite cable. Slade is the man to get your problems knocked out asap.

In the beginning this gentleman sounded sincere. But as the work went further it just went down hill. The side of my house is nasty from when the gutters were blown out and he never cleaned it as he said he would. He was also given a deposit to fix a deck board and facia board. He won’t return phone calls and his office lady won’t either. Since he was paid in cash there is no recourse, so a review is the only way to. I will be speaking with every HOA president that I know throughout Kennesaw Dallas and Acworth, giving his name number and a description with photos of the work he started and never completed. I’m sure it will be put in their neighborhood letter. Beware!!!!!!!!

I recently had my gutters cleaned and extremely happy with the service I received. Loyd was kind enough to fit me into his schedule and got the job done. He did great work.

Slade did a fantastic job on our house. I called him and he was able to come out quickly to clean the inside and outside of our gutters. They look brand new! House looks amazing and we couldn't be happier. I'd recommend him to anyone. Great guy and fairly priced! 10/10!

Loyd is a reliable, hardworking, and skilled jack-of-all-trades. My husband reached out for a gutter cleaning and some work on loose fascia, and Loyd went out of his way to fit us into his schedule. We were so pleased we hired him to install gutters on our front porch! All of his work on my home has been of exceptional quality, and we're so appreciative of his incredible attention to detail—great care was taken with our outdoor belongings and flower beds. Super professional and wonderful service. Hard worker who went above and beyond. I had him fix and clean my garage gutters, as well as clean my house gutters. Not only did he do that with so much effort but he blew off my decks and driveways after he was done. The icing on the cake was when he replaced a bulb that was 15 feet high above my garage. We had a piece of the rake metal that started coming off. Mr. Slate came out fixed it and tightened other parts on the house. We have also used his services for gutter cleaning and we highly recommend.

I needed my gutters cleaned and asked a friend of mine if she had someone she would recommend. She said Slade had did her gutters before and she was pleased with his work. I called him up and he did quote me a price and came over to do the work. He was quick and efficient. He even blew debris off my driveway that did not come from the gutters. He did an excellent job.

I also was taken in by the good reviews I saw. First couple of jobs were great. Then we (mistakenly) gave him money to prepay for some materials that he needed to do some work. They were supposed to arrive in store May 2. Ten days later no response no matter how many messages we have left. Asks for money in the middle of a job. Silly thing is he would have gotten so much more work from us. As someone else said, be warned.

Slade’s gutter service did a terrific job on yesterday. Lloyd not only cleaned gutters his cleanup was exceptional too. I definitely recommend this company if you need gutters cleaned. Will be using in the future I know.

If I could rate 10 stars I would. This Slade is awesome. He is on time, reasonable in pricing, available with no wait time and flexible, he quick-fast and knowledgeable. Try him. You won't be sorry.

I'm a repeat customer and I was… blown away by how bad the service was this time. I read through his other bad reviews and saw common themes. I won't use him again or recommend him. I don't have time to really list all of the complaints lol, but this is what I'll say to help others.

He does good work, when he wants to. Don't pay him in advance. Don't pay him a portion. He won't come back. And then when you follow up with him, he will have an elaborate story of why he's ghosted you for several days.

Although it took him several trips to finish my Christmas light install (I’m sure he will respond to this review saying it was my fault somehow haha) I asked him to come take the stuff down that he put up. Of course, he didn’t finish the job, so he had to come back out to finish up. I just walked my property and found lights and extension cords still on the ground AND at least 20 light clips.

I still tipped him though. Crazy how we don’t learn haha

Oh yeah last comment. Don’t pay, tip, or ANYTHING until you walk the property with him. Because you’ll regret it the following day.

Also, he’s not responsive at all unless it’s time to get paid. He will double text you when he wants him payment. But he can’t respond when he’s dodging you to buy himself time to finish other jobs as he flakes on you.

“Can I get $100 for gas and food? I’ll be back tomorrow morning to finish up.”

“Can I get $40 until tomorrow?”

When you hear stuff like that, just know you made a bad choice.

Lost respect after he basically told me that although I had paid in advance, I shouldn’t be upset that he’s been ghosting me because he has a life outside of my job” haha. If he responds and defends himself like I’ve seen him do on other reviews, he will probably say the following:

“I had a lot of lights.” Or “I had more lights than last year.” The reality is he came onsite, we discussed the job, he gave us the quote, he showed up the first day, did 30% of the job, asked for half the money, ghosted me, then after I threaten to leave a bad review, he tells me some story about blah blah blah. That’s the reality.

Now that I have left my review, he’s a good guy and all of that. And he does decent work. You get what you pay for. But I’ll say I think he suffers from being a one man shop with multiple jobs he’s juggling and doesn’t communicate well.

If you go with him, expect a decent job, but DONT PAY HIM A DIME before he finishes the job.

Lloyd did a phenomenal job cleaning out our gutters and cleaning up afterwards too! Quick to respond and easy to schedule, I called on Monday and he was out the next day. Keeping his info for our next cleaning.

My bathroom would leak anytime that it would rain. I called multiple companies, nobody could figure out the issue. I called Slade gutter services, they came out the same night. They fix the issues and was very friendly and affordable. I would definitely use them again.

Slade's cleaned our gutters and did a great job! They even blew the leaves that I had done previously in a pile all out of the way and gone. Went above and beyond!

We hired Loyd to do work at our house. We had used his services before and thought there is trust. He started the job and after couple of visits, it became harder and harder to get him to come back to finish. Does not pick up phone, return calls or reply text messages. When we finally contacted him, reasons given were phone not working and truck having issues. He could communicate back to us and nobody would fault that. But no, never could get him to respond. This was after agreeing on price, we paid him but he came back saying he miscalculated and need more money to cover materials. Not pleased, but transferred him the money as well as gas money he asked for.
Then came the last straw, he couldn't be contacted again. For couple weeks he would not answer or reply phone calls. Will not respond to texts, totally ghosting us. Yet he was still getting reviews about gutter cleaning jobs he has done. He left materials and equipment outdoors in the sun and rain. Up and left, never contactable again. Was a big mess I had to clean up after him. Was very aggravating to deal with. Learned my lesson. Very irresponsible, you have been warned.

Loyd did an amazing job on our gutters! I responded to our request for a quote quickly and did the job same day. He worked quickly and efficiently and communicated his concerns to us. We will definitely be calling him again.

Slade is à home town guy I can rely on to get job done. He is à small business owner that will work with my budget. Great guy!! Highly recommended for us that hard work for living. He does it all.

Gave me an estimate while I was at work and took pictures of before and after. Clean up after. Installed an extra piece for me that I had bought a year ago and so now there's no more water dumping from a story onto my car.

We hired Slade’s Gutter Service to put some gutter guards at my parents’ house. The owner, Loyd, did not finish the job and though we have reached out multiple times, he has either said he’s coming and not shown up or not responded altogether. We understand that life can happen, however, when you pay in full for something and it’s been 3 weeks since the job was supposed to be completed, it becomes unacceptable. I would be glad to change my review if the company would do right by us and my elderly father and complete the job he was paid to do. I feel like he’s taking advantage of the fact that my dad is elderly to do this. Never pay in full for a job with him because he may never return to complete the job.

Came out the same day that we spoke and fixed a gutter that was gushing water on to my front stoop, especially with all the storms of late. Appreciate having this taken care of and will contact in the future regarding gutter repair, etc.

Found Slade’s Gutter Service when searching Google for gutter cleaning in my area. Gave them a call and received a call back from Lloyd Slade within a couple of hours. Got a phone quote and Lloyd was here to clean my gutters about 5 hours later! He did a great job and so very nice to work with. Do not hesitate to give him a call. Worth every penny!!

I can’t thank Slade enough for helping me on such short notice. He responded within minutes of my inquiry, kept me informed of his timing, and came out the same day to do my gutters and roof repair from the recent storms. I will be calling him for sure in the future and highly recommend him for cleaning and repair needs, he will be pressure washing for us in the very near future.

We sent 'quote' requests to other gutter cleaning companies and they either wanted to do work I wasn't interested in , or didn't respond.
I found Slade's on google maps; called and he came right out.
I will call Slade's again.

Mr Loyd has done multiple jobs at my home. He does a great job with whatever he’s doing around my house. I recommend him to everyone.

DON"T USE THEM!
Slade will definitely clean your gutters, but don't let them do anything else. They damaged my roof, put a tarp over it and left it. They gave me the run around for a couple of weeks about coming out to fix it, but never showed. Eventually they stopped answering the phone. cost me nearly $2,000 to fix their mistakes.

Yes, you did point out that I needed to make some repairs, which you proceeded to do. However, what I find interesting is that you damaged one of the beams, which left the roof leaking and dented in. Initiatlly you responded immediately and put the blue tarp on the roof. What you didn't do, nor address in your response, is repair the damage you did. You caused more damage and didn't have the decency to tell me you caused more damage nor at least offer to get someone to fix it even if you couldn't afford to pay for it yourself. Just telling me that you broke it and using some of the money you made to contribute to the repair would have been sufficient. You come across as honest and hardworking, but you are not. Also, you could be much more successful by being honest, hardworking and fair. You would get so much more repeat business. Do your best and the rewards will be great.

Lloyd Slade answered my internet inquiry almost immediately then provided a quote and was able to come to our house that same evening to clean our gutters which were in desperate need of attention! He is friendly, professional, hard working and did an excellent job. While at our house he also provided an estimate for some repair work as well as pressure washing. Mr. Slade - we will be be using your services again soon!

I recently hired Slade of Slade's Gutter Service to clean out my gutters. He showed up on time walked the property w/ me and explained immediate issues that he noticed right away. Very professional, kind and hardworking. He cleaned the gutters which I have a Florida style pool enclosure so that was not an easy task. He also pin pointed other concerns that would need to be addressed. After the cleaning, he pressured washed and blew excess debris and cleaned the area. Lastly, he was able to service the gutters at my 2nd property. I received a text from my tenant stating the gutters that they could see looked Great! and there were no more growing weeds and that he also cleaned extra areas that were not apart of the job.

My husband and I hired Lloyd Slade to construct a cement basketball court in our yard. We have used him in the past for other home improvement services and were happy with the result so we entrusted him with a larger project. We signed an invoice that outlined exactly what was to be completed and he gave my husband an estimate of 3 days.
He was punctual and showed up every day to clear the trees until he requested the $5000 for materials and concrete to continue the project. One entire month later and the stumps have not been dug out, the soil has not been recompacted, there is no grading done and we have been given every excuse under the sun as to why this project has been delayed. He openly admitted he was lying to us about the timeline and status of the project and since hearing this we have requested our money back and have not seen a dime. We even gave him the opportunity to show up this past Friday and Saturday as he had promised, only to have him no call/no show. We will be taking legal action tomorrow to recover the funds.

UPDATE: We have still not received a cent back from this con artist. He continues to take trusting peoples’ money and puts on a good front. If he was a legitimate business and an honest God-fearing man, we would have been paid back in full already from all the distress this has caused to my husband and I. You are a horrible person.

Highly recommended!! Loyd was super friendly. I came home and my neighbors were having work done. I spoke with Loyd and even though it was last minute and unexpected, he didn't hesitate and offered to take care of our gutters when he was finished with my neighbors house. He didn't leave a mess and went above and beyond!! That's real CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you!!

Loyd Slade came out within 2 hours after I called him about siding issues on my chimney. He quickly identified multiple points of entry for water around the chimney as well as corrosion on the chimney cap. He provided a fair quote, picked up materials, returned same day, and repaired the siding on the chimney. He worked through rain and finished after dark. He didn’t stop until the job was done. He returned the following day and completely refurbished the chimney cap. He did a thorough cleanup once all work was complete. I will be hiring him again for future projects and repairs and can’t recommend him highly enough. His level of work ethic and professionalism is a rare combination to find these days.

Excellent work cleaning and repairing my gutters. He, came out very quickly, cleaned up any mess left in the yard and charged very reasonable prices. He also does other home repair jobs and I will be calling him back to do some power washing and deck repair. I can see why there are so many 5 star reviews.
