Many aspects of Simple Solutions Contracting (SSC) LLC deserve the highest accolades. Leaving out the backstory as to why we (thankfully) found SSC, we want to share that:
1. SSC *stuck with and provided us with complete information and evidence to counter the half-truth excuses the insurance company gave to diminish our claim payout. We went from the insurance company’s insistence they were only required to remit payment for a 5-shingle, force-a-square-peg-into-a-round-hole roof repair using shingles that would not fit the current roof (a lie that also would have voided any warranty) to a full rear elevation replacement. This was thanks to Anthony’s knowledge not only of roofing requirements, but how some insurance companies attempt to minimize their claim reimbursements. With Anthony submitting a shingle for a FULL ITEL evaluation, the insurance company (who had done its own ITEL eval without a shingle) could no longer insist on the cut-and-paste repair. (Side note: *Before we found SSC, we contacted several other contractors. Most were not interested on the small repair based on the insurance company’s findings, another wanted to add on a multitude of other “fixes” inside the house that “might” have been caused by the incident, and a promising one simply disappeared when the insurance company dragged its feet [can’t blame them, really]. During the months we repeatedly pushed back against the insurance company to receive the appropriate settlement, Anthony stood by us…and we were finally able to contract SSC’s services.)
2. Whenever we had questions or needed clarification, the SSC administrative staff was there, be it via email or phone, to help us understand this unfamiliar territory. We really appreciated all the women working behind the scenes, and thank Jennifer for keeping in touch with us.
3. The crew who fixed the roof was superlative! They showed up within the timeframe scheduled. They concentrated on and did an amazing job. (Anthony sent us photos/video of the roof [including the attic insulation], explaining the condition of the existing materials, as well as the indicators as to why they were in good condition.) The cleanup was fantastic. The crew literally left the surrounding area BETTER than when they arrived. And we really appreciate that Anthony came by the next day to do another sweep of the yard to pick up any missed items (e.g.: nails).
4. The men who installed the new gutters/guards and downspouts were personable, considerate, professional, and efficient. The follow-up by SSC’s Andrew (and Gordo) to tackle a couple of other bits…so very much appreciated!!!
Bottom line…you won’t find anyone else who will do a superlative job, and just as importantly, sincerely want to help you when you haven’t had the experiences that would allow you to help yourself.

I can’t say enough good things about Simple Solutions! From start to finish, they were absolutely top-notch. Communication was clear and consistent the entire way through—they walked me through every step of the process and followed through exactly as promised. Anthony and his crew went above and beyond regarding my roof. They had installed a new roof on a property prior to me purchasing it. There was a rain storm that sprung leaks throughout the house. I called them and they performed an inspection on the roof. The roof was perfect however, they found issues with siding, chimney stack, external vents, and skylight. They repaired everything at no charge even though the issues didn't have anything to do with their workmanship. It's not very often that you find genuinely good people. The project was accomplished within our budget and managed in an efficient manner with good communication. Whenever we had heavy rains the water would leak into our basement.

We contacted Mr. Anthony Latimer from Simple Solutions Contracting LLC in Prince Frederick, Md. Mr. Latimer called and came to our home the same day. He inspected the roof and took pictures of the damaged roof flashing areas were water was entering the house. He fixed the areas of concern and recommended additional issues to be addressed in the future.

Incidentally, we had a torrential downpour the same night of the repair. There was not an ounce of water detected the following morning on the basement floor. To top it off, Mr. Latimer texted us the following morning to check if any water had leaked into the basement overnight.

I can’t say enough about this company! They came and did an incredible job on our roof over two years ago. We had an unfortunate incident where a condensating pipe broke in the attic.. Anthony was out within the hour of my phone call and had a SIMPLE SOLUTION for it that will give us some time until the main fix. He is sending his crew out tomorrow to the roof to put a downpipe on the vent to prevent further leaking and will be sending a plumber out to fix the problem. Once all is done, he will have a drywaller to patch our spot in the kitchen. I received excellent service from
Anthony. I had a leak in my roof that was dripping down to my ceiling. I posted on Thumbtack and he contacted me immediately stating that he could look at my issue in about an hour. When he arrived, he asked additional questions and took a look. Using the pictures he took, he explained exactly the issue, how it was caused and how he already fixed it. YES, ALREADY FIXED IT!! Then he showed me some other issues that he already fixed as well and simply said "No Charge for it". WOW!! He also looked at the rest of the roof and gave me some additional tips on how I can maintain it with simple yearly maintenance that will catch issues early. Now how about that, my day started with worry about the roof, the cost, time-frame to getting the work done and the biggest...having to deal with a company who may try to overcharge me or sell me things that I don't need to working with this company that went above and beyond to resolve my issue and gave me PEACE. Since they offer services for more that just roofs, I definitely will be using them for future needs for my home.

Simple Solutions Contracting LLC, is a wonderful roofing contractor to work with. I'm currently in the selling process for a townhouse located in Lexington Park Md. During the buyers inspection, some attic water mark leak issues were brought up by the inspector, which could not be verified as having been fixed during a re roofing that was previously done about 8 years ago. So they requested a roofing expert be hired to evaluate their inspection concerns. From the time I contacted Simple Solutions Contracting LLC, I was met by a cheerful team member named Julie. She entered the required information into their system including photos from the inspection report, and said I would be called back a little later that afternoon to schedule the inspection. As stated, another cheerful team member named Casey, set up an appointment for the next morning, which was a Saturday. Anthony showed up on time the next morning and performed a whole roof inspection from the roof surface as well as from inside the attic, focusing on the areas noted in the buyers inspection report. He reported back to me that the roof was in good condition, and that he did not find any evidence at all from the roof surface itself or the attic, that the roof was in need of any repairs. He also said that he would write up a certification for me stating those facts, without any charge.
It goes without saying, that Anthony could have easily recommended some unneeded repairs in order to make some money. But instead he took the high road and not only reported the roof as being in good condition, but did not even charge me any money for his time and mileage to do the inspection. I honestly couldn't be more pleased to have dealt with Anthony and his team of cheerful employees, and would recommend them to everyone who has contractor needs.

Simple solutions has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I called in to see about getting on the schedule for a roof repair for my rental home located in Maryland and when I called I spoke to a pleasant young lady named Casey. She talked me through the entire process letting me know that I could trust her crew to take a look at my roof and send over a report of their findings.

I was worried about being out of state during the inspection, but after talking to her she put any worries to rest and I am very eager to work with them!

POOR SERVICE.
My partner and I had an assessment completed by Simple Solutions on February 1st. The reason for the initial consult was due to squirrels entering our attic from what we believed to be a hole(s) in our roof. At the conclusion of the assessment, Anthony shared that there were a few holes that appeared to be caused as a result of poor weather conditions. He provided a quote and we paid the deposit for them to come out and fix the issue. Andrew, another contractor came out to repair the roof. He shared that what they initially quoted us for was not the issue he seen upon viewing the roof however, he would fix it to ensure we did not have the same issue. We were certainly appreciative of this. Unfortunately, the next day, we continued to have the SAME issue. Til this day, we still have squirrels in and out of the attic. We have shared our concerns with Simple Solutions MULTILPLE TIMES and the past 2 weeks and they have shared that they “took care” of the issue. Not once have they attempted to come back out to review, problem shoot, or resolve the concerns that we have shared with them from the very beginning! Instead, their Admin expressed that they will not be moving forward with repairs and will not require any further payment on their initial invoice. We had another company come out and they shared that their were 3 big holes (NOT MENTIONED BY SIMPLE SOLUTIONS). All holes were associated with squirrel entry. Holes that WERE NOT identified nor attempted to be fixed by Simple Solutions (pictures attached). Simple Solutions is THE ABSOLUTE WORST company we could have identified to support addressing our needs yet they will tell you they "took care" of us.

I would love to thank Anthony and Jodie publicly for noticing my roof had the facia falling off.He came got a ladder put it back on and noticed some other things to touch up and he did that for free.I love the generosity they both show in their advice and giving heart.Ty Simple Solutions.Who knew a company would see my roof and a few repairs and do that for free.I dont have pictures its too high and I don’t know the names of the parts he replaced but thank you again simple solutions ❤️

We had an issue with birds coming through our vent. Anthony came and inspected the property and discovered the source of entry. He worked with me to get a crew up within a couple of days. They cleaned the area and placed a screen over the vent. I appreciated the timeliness of their work.

After dealing with another local roofing company, which I found out later to be a sales company(for roofing) I was disappointed. They would not return my calls to fix an issue with the new roof causing a leak because the company they contracted could not be bothered. This went on for weeks, calling and no response, then I reached out to Anthony from SSC and he came out the same day to help! Offering advice and solutions to what someone else had messed up, this is the type of customer service I’d expect from a company and will be using them moving forward.

Andrew from Simple Solutions came out for an inspection and an estimate, after I had called earlier in the day. We had just noticed a leak the night prior during a large storm, and were worried about how to fix it. Am so grateful to God for granting me the opportunity to come in contact with Mr Anthony Latimer. He is an angel sent from God. Himself and his team. They came to my house access the damage on my roof cause by the installation of SUNRUN solar panels and fixed it for FREE!!!! YES FOR FREE. I have tried for almost 2 years for Sunrun to fix the roof they damage as a result of their installation but they did nothing and here came Mr Anthony. I will forever be grateful to you and your company for being godly people, so true to your words, faithful, trustworthy and committed to rendering great and excellent service to people in Maryland. Update: They immediately contacted me about finishing the job, within a few hours of my initial review, and got it taken care of within a few days. I guess my job slipped through the cracks, and they do seem to care about doing right by the customer.

I'm not sure how they have such good reviews, but I originally contacted them in November of 2022 about shingles and gutters. They had the quote and all the insurance stuff taken care of pretty quickly, I submitted payment in November, shingles finally got installed in March 2023, and I am STILL waiting on the gutters to be installed.

We lost a couple shingles during the last wind storm and were looking for a contractor to repair our roof. We contacted a couple of contractors, but didn't find one we liked until we came across Simple Solutions Contracting. They were early for their appointment, very professional and provided exceptional craftsmanship at a great price. I would definitely use them again and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.

This was a great company to have our roof repaired. They were very attentive, professional and most importantly they did an excellent job. We needed some shingles replaced after a hellish windstorm. Replaced my roof. Looks great! Very fast, efficient and clean. The workers walked the yard for nails and debris and blew of our deck , porch and sidewalks. I would recommend highly! I will be calling them soon for some flooring and tile work!
