I had a sweep and inspection, and my technician was fantastic. Explained everything to me before during and after would absolutely recommend and use again.

Did a chimney inspection and yearly service on the gas insert. They were knowledgeable and thorough in their handling of my services. I was so satisfied I signed up to be put on their yearly schedule. They made recommendations but weren’t forceful so I’ll get to them as I get the money.

I just had Joseph and Elijah complete maintenance service and thermocouple repair on my 20 year old propane stove. They did an exceptional job of cleaning up the stove, repairing problems and returning the stove to full functionality. I could not be happier with the results. I have used another Waldorf-based propane stove service and Chesapeake Chimney is MUCH more technically competent

The service call was done throughly. They took the time to check for any cause that was responsible for the malfunction of the fireplace. They repaired it and now it works fine.

The tech, Cameron, was on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. He took time to listen to the issues we were having and explained everything thoroughly after diagnosing the problem. Will use this company in the future.

We recently moved into a new home and needed some work done on the fireplace. The condition of the fireplace was terrible. Joseph came out and patiently explained what needed to be done to convert this fireplace into working order. He did everything in a little over one hour. He was courteous, professional, and quick. Technician came out and cleaned/inspected my pellet stove. He removed my two fake logs and broke one. He and the company say it's not his fault. They refuse to take responsibility for their breakage. They said: "the logs were at the point where they needed to be replaced." That is MY decision - not yours. If you were careful, they wouldn't have broken. OWN YOUR MISTAKES.

I had an inspection done that uncovered a joining cap that was installed incorrectly by the furnace technician. I also had a new chimney flue cap installed. They guys are very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend.

We have used Chesapeake Chimney since 1996 for our wood burning fireplaces, but had never had them repair a gas stove insert. The technician, Joe was amazing! He was very honest and helpful.He diagnosed the problem with our gas fireplace and was able to fix it on the spot! I’m grateful that he took the time to explain what the issue was, and explained how to best repair our stove so we can use it this fall and winter! He installed a new pilot assembly today, and repaired the switch on the wall. He was very professional and very reasonably priced. The job was completed in a timely manner and the area was spotless when he was done! We will definitely be calling Chesapeake Chimney again. Thank you for a job well done!

Chesapeake Chimney installed a custom made, powder coated black chase cover and chimney cap on my house. I looks amazing, and is the perfect topper to our new roof and siding.

Continued excellent service by Chesapeake Chimney! Thank you Eric and Brian! Brian power washed the chimney to remove the masonry discoloration, vegetation and grime before applying 2 coats of a commercial grade water repellent system while Eric replaced the rusted interior black pipe on the wood stove. Both guys repaired the chimney shoulders and added slope as needed. Very nice job!!

We have used Chesapeake Chimney several times and have always received outstanding service. Most recently Eric, Brian and Nicholas installed a chimney cap. They are very nice and knowledgeable. Additionally they call you back and show up when they say they will.

I scheduled a service appointment for our gas fireplace. The technicians arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time. They worked quickly and neatly, explained what they found wrong with our fireplace, and even gave me the option of ordering my own part to save money. Definitely recommend.

I made a desperate call to Chesapeake because I had a dead animal in my chimney. There was no way I was getting it out myself; I called and first spoke with Barbara who was amazing. She was able to get me an appointment 2 days after I called (which required her to move things around on their schedule), which was great because the smell was HORRIBLE! The technician, Winston, showed up right on time. He was super professional and nice, and is now my hero for getting the rotting, dead squirrel out of there. He inspected my chimney and let me know what my options would be to eliminate future critters from getting down in there. He's a young guy, but he knows his stuff. Really impressive - highly recommend this company.

Came back to check on leaking around flashing following re-lining chimney. Put some silicone around area as he couldn’t find a leak site.

I called expecting they wouldn’t be available to come for a couple weeks but we’re able to come the next day. They spent time diagnosing what was wrong and gave me a good plan for ordering the necessary parts and coming back to install. They know what they’re doing and communicate well.

The technician was very friendly, very clean and very knowledgeable. Honest work and lets you know what needs to be done in priority instead of trying to sell everything at once.

The company inspected the chimney and provide solutions to fix. As I considered the alternatives, Hurricane Ian was expected in the area within days. Aex came and installed a tarp over the crown so that water did not enter my home. He was prompt and called when he was coming and called me when he left (I was not home). The tarp stayed on during the storm.

Winston was very respectful and knowledgeable. We did not get the outcome we wanted for our chimney but he helped us navigate the steps we need to take in order to resume using our fireplace. I look forward to using their services for years to come.

I made an appointment with this company. For two days I received and replied to both emails and text messages about them coming to my house. When they didn't show up at the specified time, I waited and then called them. The office then called the technician who then called me, only to tell me that the office had given them Another job this morning On top of the other jobs they had so that made them late for the jobs they Already had planned and couldn't even get to Me for at least Another Hour! Who does that? What kind of company is this? Needless to say I cancelled! To not show up on time, to not call me, and to schedule Other people In Front of Me, I'm sorry, I am just not willing to do business with a company with principles like that!

Quick turnaround on scheduling appointment for cleaning and inspection. Technician, Winston, was on time (actually a little early). Got texts and emails with his picture that he was on his way. Winston called as well. Very personable. Professional. Knowledgeable. Got a detailed report with pictures on problems that were found during inspection. Highly recommend!

We needed to have our chimney inspected as it has not been used since we moved in. We wanted to convert from a pellet to wood stove. The customer service was beyond amazing and flexible, and the technicians were awesome! We never felt pressured to buy more services, they were thorough in the inspection and took the time to explain everything to us.
