I have a personal policy to utilize a local service when necessary. Mike Simon and his team did an excellent, event free, job of repairing my roof in late 2021. I had a small leak recently and called him and received same day service/ repair at no charge.

We had a leak and I knew it was time to replace our 30 year roof. We received several quotes, but Simon Roofing was honest, reasonably priced and did great work! I highly recommend Simon Roofing!

Mike Simon has replaced roofing material on two different style roofs for us. One was a home with a tile roof whereby the underlayment was replaced, and existing tile re-installed, and the other home had a flat roof whereby they power washed and applied two lawyers of new roof coating. In both cases, the roofs were completed professionally, efficiently and in a timely manner. We highly recommend Simon Roofing for roof replacement.

As it was time to replace the underlayment under my tile roof, I did my research on the local building codes and reviewed installation manuals available from the Tile Roofing Institute. With knowledge in hand, I began getting estimates. Wow, what an eye opening experience, as nearly half of the proposals were not to code/standards. Simon Roofing was a shining star. The price was very reasonable and the work was done quickly, and was done right. I appreciated working directly with the owner. Mike did an excellent job describing all the work to be performed. Mike was very easy to work with and didn’t ask for final payment until I was 110% satisfied. Very professional and worth considering for any roofing needs.

Last time the roofing technician made great mess at our home. But these roofers were not like them. They made sure everything was nice and clean before they left. They did great at our roof installations and the windows are a great hit as well.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
