This service was the only one to provide a standing seam metal roof, which means there are no visible screws on the surface. Other companies only offered a 5V Crimp metal roof, where screws are exposed and may require occasional tightening or replacement due to aging seals that can lead to water leaks if not addressed quickly. If you look up the differences between standing seam metal roofs and 5V Crimp roofs, you’ll see what I mean. Driving through any neighborhood, you’ll likely notice many 5V Crimp roofs, but my standing seam roof truly stands out. My roof has become a talking point in the neighborhood, and I've received so many compliments on how great my home looks because of it. I also recommend asking for peel and stick underlayment. While it may come with an additional cost compared to felt, you can recoup that expense through your insurance when you submit a new wind mitigation report. I paid $1500 for the peel and stick, but my insurance dropped by $1400 in the first year.
