I highly recommend working with Signature Exteriors. Every aspect of the project was a breeze. I really enjoyed the experience. Special shoutout to John Hannaway. He gave us a competitive quote and you could tell he actually knew what he was taking about. While it wasn’t the lowest price of the quotes I received from some other companies, the quality of work and customer service made it worth it. The project manager Jennifer was a delight to work with as well and made sure my home was taken care of on the day of the project.

I called Signature Exteriors to do an inspection of my roof because it is pretty old and I wanted to understand the condition. I am glad I did. By far the best roofer out there, and there’s a lot. I met with John Hannaway who was genuinely a good human being. He was very knowledgeable and showed me a variety of pictures of my roof and gutters. I ended up getting my roof replaced through an insurance claim and John Hannaway guided me throughout the entire process and made it very smooth. I met with a few other contractors and none of them gave me a sense of trust. John was an open book from the beginning and other Signature Exteriors team members such as Katelyn and Isaac provide great customer service and updates on scheduling.

Kyle and Jon came by today to look at my roof for hail damage. Thank goodness I am good for now. Thank you guys!!

Roof has been damaged since Hurricane Helene in 2024. Had multiple roofers come out and not follow through. Jacob made it seamless and walked me through every step. Rafael and crew were so fast, efficient, respectful of my home and family as well. Roof looks amazing. 5 stars all day everyday.

On June 20th, I met with Jacob and another salesperson whose name I do not recall. We discussed replacing all siding, wood rot and roof repairs to my home. I expressed to Jacob that we are highly motivated and want to start as soon as possible once we have chosen the company to do the work. Jacob and the other man both seemed very knowledgeable and told me they would have a quote to me by Tuesday, June 24th. That day came and went without a quote. I sent a message to Katelyn on June 28th, who scheduled the appointment with the 2 salespeople and informed her that I had not received the quote. She apologized and contacted the sales manager about the delay. I received a text from Jacob that day and he stated they were waiting on Hover measurements. On June 30th, I messaged Jacob asking what are Hover measurements. He responded stating it's a company they use for accurate measurements. He then said that he thought Hover required more photos and could come out that same day to take them. I told him that was fine but I had a full calendar that day with back to back meetings and would not be able to greet or interact with him. He said that was fine. On July 1st, I messaged Jacob to find out if he got the photos he needed and he stated. "Yes ma'am! We have the hover back and are getting updated pricing."
Today is July 14th and I have not heard a word from anyone at Signature Exteriors nor have I received any quote. It has been almost a month since they first came to my home. To be clear, I took the day off from work just to meet with them on June 20th. I do not appreciate my time being wasted like this. When someone tells me they will provide me a quote by a certain day, then I expect or at the very least the decency of communication from the company informing me of a delay. It is sad that a potential customer has to take more time contacting the company to find out what the issue is. If the sales team fails miserably on following up, then I can only imagine the project management to be as poor. I contacted this company initially due to their Google reviews, which I now question their legitimacy. They obviously do not want my business and I doubt they want yours.
Incidentally, I received a detailed quote from Crown Builders on the same day I met with them. We are still looking to get a quote. At this point, I'm not holding my breath that I'll hear from Signature Exteriors with a quote.

I have used Signature Exteriors twice, the first time for skylight replacement, roof inspections and replacement and new gutters. The second time for gutters on my sunroom. I've worked with Signature Exteriors for the past few weeks to complete some repairs to some siding on my house as well as a full roof replacement. I chose this company because of the great reviews and I wasn't disappointed! From day 1 working with John was easy, he is knowledgeable and communicated throughout the process, and navigated the insurance claim for me with ease - I honestly had to do very little in the process, which was awesome. I also worked with the team lead Isaac who coordinated the actual job, timing, and prepared us for all of the work that we were getting done. You couldn't ask for a smoother prep or day of experience. Both Isaac and John were some of the best professionals I've worked with on a home issue - I can't speak more highly of the process. Finally, on the day of all of the work I met Jennifer who is the onsite leader, and she was also excellent to work with, explained everything, made sure to text me photos of the progress during the day while I was at work and stayed for several hours after the job was finished to make sure the yard, driveway, etc was just as it was beforehand - I don't think I could find a nail if I tried! The roof looks amazing and everything was completed in one full day.

To summarize, the experience with Signature was a great one for us - the process was clear from the start, the insurance claim was a breeze, and I felt like the communication throughout, including the day of was stellar. I review 100s of roofing bids across the Carolinas for my work. Signature Exteriors cost was the most competitive and fair of the multiple companies I contacted for my own home. I got a new roof, soffit repair and new gutters. The repairs and install was quick. Great seamless experience working with Signature Exteriors. I’m busy, so them dealing with my insurance company helped. I didn’t think my insurance company would pay for a new roof, so their extensive knowledge with the claim process was so valuable upfront. My roof was paid for! On the day of the roof install, the Project Manager Jennifer stayed onsite to make sure everything was on schedule. That was important for my project since they had to finish in one day due to rain in the forecast the following day. Jennifer’s communication skills were timely and concise, which helped me go about my work day smoothly. Would recommend them !

After a tree decided to 'rest' on our roof, John came out the same day. He worked with the insurance company and made sure that the estimate covered all the necessary repairs. John kept track of the repairs and provided updates to the insurance company. Isaac brought out fans and a dehumidifier in order to dry out the attic and bedroom. The new roof is beautiful! The foreperson, Jennifer, was helpful and diligent. They did the entire roof quickly and with minimal disruption. Cleanup was impressive, too. Today I had a great experience with Katelyn Brown at Signature Exteriors! After filling out their online contact form, she got back to me in no time at all—and instead of just sending an email, she took the extra step of giving me a direct call. This made the whole process so much quicker and easier.

Professional company with very responsive and knowledgeable team that worked well with getting a quality Owen’s Corning replacement roof quoted and completed through my insurance after hail damage and installed in one day. They even went over my yard twice after work was done with a magnet to pickup any loose nails for safety. Recommend option of paying a little extra for Perma-Boot for roof vents designed to last life of shingles versus cheaper builder grade where water tight seal degrades and causes leaks. Other recommended upgrade options that are now code in SC to protect roof decking from water damage are aluminum drip edges along the gutters sides and rake edges along the sloped edges of roof line. Jennifer (Project Manager), Isaac (roof materials expert), John (Sales & Quoting), Katelyn (Office Management), installation crew, and John (Owner) all put in the time to earn my business and others around my neighborhood.

They were onsite when they said they would be. Materials were dropped off the day before, so they were ready to begin before daylight. They put down water membranes as we had discussed and used quality shingles in the color I selected. They had a large crew that finished my roof in one day. They cleaned up completely when finished. The initial conversations, the working with the insurance company, the discussions about upgrades and the scheduling on the calendar....all excellent. But the icing on the cake was the absolutely wonderful experience I had on the day of the roof replacement! Jennifer set up the day with a detailed phone call a few days prior. The day played out exactly as she had laid out on the phone, and she was available time and again throughout the day for all the questions I had. With tremendous expertise and patience from John Hannaway and Michael Garrie I was able to secure an insurance settlement from my homeowners insurance carrier and arrange for roof upgrades to enhance the long term beauty and durability and property value of my home. When the installation day arrived project manager Jennifer Brown was on top of every aspect of the process. She was the first to arrive and the last to leave. She was an efficient manager of supply resources and more importantly an effective manager of her crew. Despite it being a miserably hot day her crew worked to achieve the goal of finishing the installation of the roof before the end of the day. When a summertime storm was threatening she made sure that unfinished areas were covered and her crew was protected from the lightning until the storm passed. They were then able to finish in short order and achieve their goal. Jennifer returned the next day for a final inspection and make sure that all debris and nails were picked up. The roof is beautiful and I look forward to the installation of new gutters in a few days. Great experience with Signature Exteriors. Michael really is an expert and provided great advice when we were deciding on the best course of action to replace our roof. We ended up upgrading the roof with a better quality of shingle that was originally installed, replacing the gutters and gutter protection, and some downspouts. We're very happy with the work performed.

After we had decided on the scope of work, John and Isaac did a good job of keeping us updated on the insurance claim information and preparation of the house prior to starting the install. Finally, our project manager, Jennifer, was excellent in letting us know exactly what was going to happen, making sure that the work was done correctly, and resolving any issues that came up either the day of or even after the installation was completed. She was onsite for the entirety of the job and even came by after the work was completed to make sure there were no pending issues. Wish I had the same experience as other reviews. Happy with our shingles. Gutter install busted up my fascia. My dark copper roof was replaced with a pure copper. Now I have an extremely bright copper roof - literally a bright penny covering over my large front bay window. Maybe it was in style when house was first built but I doubt it. You’d think the customer would be consulted about materials before install but I showed up after work and they had already installed. I asked about it but was essentially informed it’s not their problem and that in three years maybe it will be better when it patinas. Anyone know if many houses using this bright copper these days?

Fine tuned machine for the model so most will benefit. I did not. I would not use again and wouldn’t recommend.

Working with signature exteriors was a great experience. It was so stress free for me. Literally the hardest thing I had to do was sign a few documents. They worked with my insurance company to manage the whole roof replacement. I never had to get involved. The roofing materials are high quality, and the roof looks so good. The workers were quick and efficient, and the they did a really good job cleaning up. I have zero complaints. 10/10 recommend!!!!

I contacted Signature Exteriors about a small leak in our 23 yr old roof. Michael, the owner, came out to look at the problem and do a free roof inspection. He was very professional, courteous and helpful. He was able to quickly identify the issue as a dry rotted collar around an air vent. He also identified all of the hail and wind damage that has occurred to the roof over the years and said that a new roof should be covered by insurance. He even offered to replace the damaged collar right on the spot at no charge in order to stop the leak until I can get the roof replaced. I am very pleased and looking forward to working with them to replace the roof.

Update: It's about a year later, and my insurance company finally decided to approve our claim. Signature Exteriors was with us the whole way and took the lead dealing with the insurance claim, even involving a 3rd party arbiter when the ins co refused to budge. John was so incredibly helpful in this regard, because it was not necessary for me to be very involved at all.

Now the job is done! Signature replaced our roof, a couple of damaged pieces of siding and repainted the bathroom ceiling to cover a water stain. All of this work was done quickly, professionally and perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves and left our home and yard just like they found it. Wow! I am so relieved and pleased! I had a leak in my ceiling and around my fireplace from a second floor stone patio. I called 4 or 5 local contractors from large companies. They showed up, either suggesting I rip the whole thing down with an enormous cost associated with it, or they walked in took one look at the project and walked back out. It was very frustrating. I needed a solution. Well, I'm so grateful I also called Signature Exteriors. The Owner, Michael Garrie, came out to the house looked at the project, and he knew the perfect person on his crew to tackle this project. He scheduled this person on his crew to come to my house to take a look himself. He was able to determine the leaking issues and offer a cost effective solution to prevent it from happening again. Ditto on all the positive reviews...everyone of them. I researched local roofing contractors to perform an inspection of my roof. I contacted SE based upon their 4.9/5 nps. My experience mirrors the other positive reviews. A certain fast food restaurant with a "chicken sandwich claim to fame" are known for their food and the "My pleasure" they dole out freely and genuinely to their customers. SE operates in the same fashion. I know they have many clients and are very busy...but I always felt like a priority. They went over and beyond without me asking. Their level of communication, professionalism, transparency and accountability are unmatched. I loved their commitment to doing work the right way, with no upselling and no shortcuts. For a minute I started to wonder if Michael and I were married because he and his team steered me away from extras at my expense that he felt were not necessary. He just was not going to let me spend unnecessary money out of pocket. There was not one bit of upselling by Michael (the owner) nor his team.

And I must add that I had an insurance adjuster that was not at all "like a good neighbor". Nonetheless, my project manager, John, conducted a master class in diplomacy, persuasion, how to neutralize tension and control the conversation to make significant progress to the primary goal, complete insurance coverage of the roof replacement.

Throughout my project the SE team (Michael, John, Isaac and Jennifer) consistently demonstrated skill, promptness, courteousness, transparency, thoroughness, patience, diligence, modern technology, accuracy, professionalism, and most importantly, integrity. If you were to ask me if I would use them again or recommend them to anyone, I cannot help but repeat words spoken in one of the final scenes of the movie Black Panther by the general, Akoye...that is to say, "Without question!"

One more thing...open a hospital, restaurant, car dealership...pretty please!?!? They all could learn from a team like yours.

I highly recommend Signature Exteriors. I found a leak in my roof and had never dealt with that issue before. I saw that Signature Exteriors had the best reviews of any other roofing company in the Charlotte area and that was for good reason. The whole team is phenomenal.

I spoke to Michael and he was at my house the following day conducting an inspection of my roof, gutters, and downspouts. He showed me everything with pictures and drone footage along with giving a thorough explanation of the issues and solutions. Michael and John were very quick to set up a call with my insurance company and get a meeting with the insurance adjuster a couple of days later. John was extremely helpful in getting everything arranged from the insurance part, to a date to get the work done.

Isaac and Jennifer led the crews at my house and both were awesome to work with. They arrived early in the morning and got all the work done in one day. They went above and beyond cleaning up, putting back and outdoor furniture, etc. Jennifer even rehung some outdoor lights, which was extremely nice of her to do. Isaac was out at my house the next morning cleaning up any remaining residue/scraps, and making sure I was satisfied with all the work. My neighbor was so impressed with their work that he asked me for their contact info.

Thank you to the entire Signature Exteriors team. When I found the leak in my attic I thought this was going to be a long, painful process, but every one of you made it so easy for me and my wife. I will use you again in the future and refer to anyone I know.

Big shout out to Signature Exteriors for completing a full roof replacement on our home. The roof looks amazing. Observing the team reminded me of a military squad executing a mission. Everyone had a role, position and knew what to do. This was impressive as we have a very complex roof structure.

Issac and Jennifer were top notch project managers and kept me informed along the way. Also, we really appreciate the diligent work on the clean-up effort. The place was left immaculate. That has a huge impact as it is the finale of a great performance.

Signature exteriors is a top notch roofing company. The young man (Nick) came out and did a very thorough examination of my roof. Even took pictures. The secretary Katelen Brown was very friendly and helpful when I called. John Hannoway was also very very professional when I interacted with him. The roofers themselves did an awesome job. Move a very heavy statue to protect it from their work. Then they put it back when they were finished. They were very friendly. I can recommend this company
