I would give more stars if I could. Alala, Wesley, and their team of professionals took on our FULL vinyl siding replacement after the crazy hail storms in May. They did an awesome job, and our home looks so fly now!

From the second I met Alala, I knew I was in good hands. She brings an undeniable level of cool confidence, organizational skills, experience, and artistry to the table. She was willing to work within the constraints of our insurance claim, and she has a tremendously talented team to back her up. The leadership and installation crews that put it all together really sealed the deal for us. They were on-time, courteous, and provided quality work that the building inspector seemed pretty impressed with at its conclusion.

Alala and her team are great professionals. They replaced my old siding, did some customization on the exterior window trims and delivered it exactly as planned. Siding Design Pro. Removed the old damaged fiber siding and attached OSB board and a vapor barrier wrap and sided the house with James Hardie fiber-cement board. Each task was moved up from the initial date estimate, so the job was completed early. The paint was an issue, because the red color had been matched several times. We needed to re-paint. Alala handled this issue
Calmly and even provided the labor for the re-painting. We are very satisfied with SDP and would recommend their services.

Siding Design Pro, and their partners in TLC Construction, did a fantastic job replacing the windows in our 1950s home. Our home was built with concrete blocks around the windows, which is unusual even for the age of the home. The team was incredibly helpful in coming up with a solution that worked well and looks great. We’re very happy with their work and plan on using them again should the need arise!

We are truly grateful that we found Siding Design Pro to do the residing and painting of our home. Our past experiences with contractors were often unsettling, which made us realize even more how special Alala, the owner and operator of Siding Design Pro, and her crew are. We engaged Siding Design Pro, owned by Alala Wakelin of Longmont, to put metal siding, gutters and windows in our home near Jamestown. We interviewed at 6 vendors, and we felt two were qualified. We wanted an integrator who could do all those components so there's one warranty and service path. Not every vendor does this. The work completed on time and communication was great. Say what you want, but we felt that a woman-owned biz would be easier to communicate with, and that proved true. Parts of the job were eligible for a low-interest BoCo energy loan, and Alala was familiar with the process. Here's another cool part: The job completed 8 months ago, so we've lived with the work long enough to know that's it's flawless. Even cooler - we got service after the sale in the form of some documentation and some siding samples for paint matching.

Alala and the Siding Design Pro team are literally the best in the business. We were looking to modernize our dated exterior but are far from skilled designers. We spoke to multiple other siding companies who literally just sold us whatever James Hardie had to offer. We almost pulled the trigger... then we found Alala! Alala is a fantastic designer and business owner. She took us through tons of options and materials and turned all those ideas into beautiful digital renders that made it so easy to decide. In the end, we did a mix of steel siding and an amazing real cedar refresh of our entry way.

Wesley and his crew are true pros. The quality of work is outstanding and their care and attention to detail is top notch. Wesley himself is a great guy and worked so hard to make sure every little detail was to our liking, down to the house numbers and lighting.

Before choosing Siding Design Pro, I contacted a total of 8 companies and 6 of those companies sent representatives to my house (including Siding Design Pro). I received final bids from 4 companies and, by far and away, the bid provided by Siding Design Pro (which included gutter work) was the most complete and the most detailed, and the price was lower than two other bids.

Siding Design Pro is a first-rate, high quality business that should absolutely be considered for any siding project. This company is great!

Absolutely pro level service and quality start to finish. Alala was very accommodating to my tenants, helped communicate all deadlines and requirements. Great quality and fair pricing. They made my 120 year old home look new again.

Where to start?

When we were soliciting bids for replacing the siding on our entire house she was the ONLY one that showed up with documentation proving that she had the proper licenses to work in our county along with pictures of previous jobs that she had performed. She provided a solid estimate for the James Hardie siding we wanted and worked with us (and the factory) to get us the custom 6" reveal, in the color we needed, to stay compliant within our HOA.

We had some existing siding damage and knew there was going to be some underlayment replacement and she factored in the cost of replacing a lot of the underlayment, AND the underlying insulation, just to make sure the siding was going to have a SOLID foundation for it to be installed over.

She also didn't bat an eye when we explained that we wanted our shed underlayment replaced and the same siding installed on it in order to make it match our house. We now have a shed that won't need repainting or rebuilding for 20 years. :-)

She already factored in, and had run to acquire, the necessary Spanish tile for our roof as she figured that that there would be some breakage in the installation process. Even though our tile was discontinued she had connections and was able to procure several tiles to match ours.

She did this on her own time and at no cost to us!

Her crews were always on time and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and restored our neighbors property every day after working on our house. We had consulted with Alala to replace our soffits with James Hardie products. Unfortunately, when they were tearing the old ones out the found that they hadn't been built to code by the builder. They rebuilt them CORRECTLY at a minimal to us as they needed them correct in order to install the product we requested.

After all the siding and trim was installed her painters came in and matched EVERYTHING else to the colors we had selected in order to make the house beautiful and match. They painted the garage door, the entire porch, all the siding penetrations, and all the trim to cover all the nail holes and seal them against the weather.

We NEVER had to wait long when we reached out to her. She was ALWAYS very responsive and very pleasant and professional to deal with. Especially when the siding production and shipment were delayed by the manufacturer and the project started to run into the late fall and potential storm season and we were on the phone to her a couple times a week asking for updates.

Unbeknownst to us she had several family tragedies while this project was underway but she NEVER even let on that anything was amiss. She was a consummate professional and we would recommend her to anybody.

Siding Design Pro is the best contractor I have dealt with. Everything was easy from the initial consultation to the final walk through and in my opinion they over delivered what I was expecting. Alala was always available to answer any questions that I had with my project. The quality of their work and professionalism with the installers is next to none. my house went from the ugliest on the block to the best looking. If you go with them you will not be disappointed.

I can hardly say enough good things about my experience with Alala Wakelin and Siding Design Pro. First, she gave me a competitive bid for replacing my vinyl siding that had been damaged in last July’s big hail storm. Then she helped me see how the insurance adjuster had mis-estimated the needed repairs and worked with the adjuster to get me more than double the original amount. Yay!
She patiently helped me choose the right replacement product and got that ordered. Installation was a bit delayed due to the big snow storm at the end of November, but once we got a good stretch of weather installer Wesley showed up with his skilled team of hard workers and the siding was up in a flash. Wesley was very attentive to my concerns and requests and they did a good job with cleanup afterward. Gutters were installed the next day and now my home has a new lease on life. It looks great!

We had hail damage to the siding on our rental and as I was driving over to that house, I saw a house in the neighborhood that was being resided. I was impressed so I stopped to get the name of the company. Fortunately I met with Alala (owner of Siding Design Pro). She came by later and talked about doing the job on our house. We had 2 other estimates. One was a little cheaper but I was impressed with Alala (very sweet personality) and very professional too. We picked our color and the rest was history. All of her crew were extremely good at what they did. They did a beautiful job and I was even fortunate enough to find paint to match the boxes on back of the house within a shade or two. Just love the looks of the house now. Couldn't be happier.
