I recommend Shoreline for your roofing needs. They had reasonable pricing, responsive communications and provided quality work.

I needed a new roof and deck due to remediation work and it was hard to find a company who would respond in a timely manner and who could do the work within a week or two. Ed’s quote was reasonable and he said it would take 5-7 days. He and my contractor communicated well to coordinate timing as certain projects were dependent on the roof being completed.

To my surprise, there was a big crew who worked 3 full days to get everything done! The crew were reliable, polite and did a great job with the daily clean-up, which was really appreciated due to kids and pets always being around. My neighbours also appreciated that my house didn’t look like a tornado passed by.

There was a supplier mix-up and the wrong vents were installed. I thought it was too late but Ed was amazing with fixing the error. No fuss at all and I’ve received many compliments on the roof already.

Shoreline Roofing replaced the shingles on my residence in June, 2024. The owner of the company, Ed Combs, was always punctual and super easy to deal with. His crew was very hardworking, paid attention to details, and cleaned up the yard at the end of each day (thanks, Guy and Oni!). Ed was also able to arrange a carpenter to repair a pre-existing sag in one section (thanks, Jody!)

The insurer wanted proof of our roof being adequate. I called Shoreline for an appraisal, which covered us, but we only had a brief bit of leeway, so I asked for an estimate. It was done quickly and I was impressed at every turn. The roof was on in quick order; looks great and the site left as clean as a whistle. I found the business on the Victoria BBB, and am happy I did. Ed Coombs and his crew are TOP SHELF!

Ed Coombs was great to deal with. He was prompt with quotes and his prices were very reasonable. He always returned my calls quickly, if I had any questions or concerns. We recently had our roof replaced by Shoreline. Dealing with Ed and his roofers (Lukas and Alvin) was a pleasure. We are a Victoria townhouse Strata that quite urgently required 6 roofs to be replaced, either in whole or in part. Finding competent/quality roofers, indeed most trades, in 2022 was found to be difficult. However, through BBB and google review we fortunately settled on Shoreline. We found them to be excellent across the board. Their pricing was good, management of the project was spot on, attention to all detail very good, quality of their crews excellent and very professional. The owner, Ed, was hands on, very responsive and ensured coordination of all aspects. We would strongly recommend.

Their attention to detail is second to none, Trust me on that as i am as picky as they come when work needs to done on my house. The way they hold themselves to a higher standard is amazing. Ed took my call while driving and so requested an email with my request to make an appointment. After settling on a time for an appointment over email to which he was very lax in responding, he never showed up for our appointment and didn’t communicate. We had our roof finished by Proline Roofing 12 years ago and after multiple leaks and years of temporary repairs (workmanship not honoured by Proline), decided to replace the roof. We interviewed 4 companies and checked all reviews and decided on Shoreline. I found Ed to be very professional, honest and true to his work throughout the process from assessing the roof to final completion. His team that completed the work did so in a very professional and safe manor. They worked "smart and safe", abiding by WorkSafe requirements and respecting the property (thanks to the Lead - Owen). The jod started on schedule but completion took a little longer than anticipated. I think that this is a reality of this type of work and having to manage different worksites with changing weathet conditions. I would recommend Shoreline Roofing, with Ed at the helm, for roof replacement using asphalt shingles.

After almost 12 months of 'shopping around' to find a reliable roofing company to take on a three-part job (new roof design/ refurb, new gutters and new roof combined), I finally found Ed and his Shoreline company. They were in a very slim minority for the Victoria area - a local, reliable and professional company that went over and beyond what was expected from them.
Ed was extremely prompt in all of his communications, his team were personable and courteous, the work was neat and to a high standard, and the end payment was 100% in line with the original estimation. No unpleasant surprises! So great to find such an amazing team, and Ed even returned on site to do a little extra job that wasn't even part of his scope of work! He then did two final inspections on site to check that we were satisfied with the work. What an outstanding team. I would not hesitate to recommend Shoreline to anyone who needs reliability and attention to detail.

Workmanship is top notch and they were much more knowledgable than the other companies I spoke with. I had a repair done by Bob, it was done on time and for a great price, it is clear that he takes pride in his work. I will be using this company again.

Prompt service and a reasonable price for a hopefully simple roof repair. They also give a 5yr guarantee on their repair which is nice. The fella was nice and explained what he was doing and what i could do to prolong my roof's durability.

I'm the husband of Marina Bettaglio and am replying to the owner's response to her. As I indicated in subsequent e-mails to the owner and to the insurance adjuster, I stated very clearly that I believed that the roofing company was responsible for the ceiling damage. I continue to believe this, and for this reason I believe that Marina and I should be compensated for the repairs we will end up having to make.

Stay away from this company. They caused damage to the interior of the house and refused to pay for the damage. Really bad customer service. We are left with thousands of dollars in damage. Worst experience ever.

Great work on reroofing our studio. Bin driver was friendly with my kids who were excited to watch, and then took the time to make sure the bin placement didn't obstruct our gate and my wife's ability to get the stroller out. Very conscientious. John did a great job on the roof work and left the yard and deck cleaner than when he arrived.

I received a couple quotes from other roofers to complete the work, but Ed from Shoreline provided the most complete quote, fully detailing the services he was including.

With my roof in need of a full re-shingling by years end, and after liaising with other companies, I went with Ed Combs of Victoria. The quote was competitive and he kept good communication flow via email. The roofers were very professional and did an excellent job. When also re-shingling my backyard shop, they even trimmed back alot of tree foliage to keep it back from my new roof. They cleaned the gutters, replaced the screening, as well left no mess behind. Shoreline Roofing just replaced a 25 year old flat tar and gravel roof with 3 layers of torch on material. Ed and his crew did a good job in a reasonable time frame. Plus the price was very competitive. I'd certainly recommend him to others.
