Very professional every step of the way from beginning to end as Shiner exterior did an excellent job of replacing my roof. They were interested in making sure I received quality work and material; I thought their inspection process was most excellent. Inspector came in early as the roof was being replaced in the right way with quality shingles. He and came back a week afterwards to make sure the finished workmanship was excellent and that I was completely satisfied. I was extremely satisfied with and want to give them 5 stars.

Shiners removed a transom window and a French door. They then built the support structure to then install Tyvek and exterior siding. The construction crew were hard working and careful to complete the project correctly and cleaned up at the end. Price was fair. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Shingles are great skylights are an amazing upgrade to what we had installed 20 plus years ago. Every effort was made to clean up the grounds from nails and Debris. Highly recommend Shinner.

I keep coming back to Shiner for roof-related needs because every experience has been great. Right after the new gutters went on, we had a torrential downpour (one of many this spring) and those new gutters worked GREAT! I was skipping from the front to the back of the house looking out the windows and was so glad to see the water going where it was supposed to (the downspouts) instead of running off the front lip of the gutters because the old gutter covers had been doing more “covering” and less “filtering and draining” in recent years.

Shiner doesn’t try to upsell which I always appreciate. It’s easy to schedule. You guys even rescheduled because rain was expected (and received) the day they were supposed to start. You have access to a much better weather forecasting system than I have on my phone because that thing was telling me we would be getting more rain on the new date and we did not - at all.

Doing business with Shiner is always a pleasure and now that I see you have gone from Shiner Roofing to Shiner Exteriors, the day may come where I look to Shiner for siding or some other exterior thing that you now do.

Bill came out to give us an estimate and placed a temp patch on our roof where a 3” branch left a hole. After getting 2 other estimates, both the other companies wanted to file a class action lawsuit on our builder and get everyone a new roof. Not wanting to go though that pain, I selected Shiners and and thoroughly pleased with the service, professionalism and clean when they were completed! Great company!! Thanks Bill!!

Really simple experience to do a minor roof repair of our ridge cap. The estimate process was fast, and then they were able to fit me in earlier than I expected.

We highly recommend Shiner Exteriors. During 1998, we first used Joe Francis to replace our roof as did two of our neighbors. These three roofs remained trouble-free for the past 27 years. Then, after our house suffered hail damage during 2024, Shiner provided the best estimate for the replacement of our roof, gutters and siding. The decades of Shiner experience helped us make decisions regarding the renovation, such as providing 3-dimensional pictures with different colors. Before the renovation began, we became so comfortable with Shiner that we added to the contract window replacement as well as the aluminum wrapping of our house's wood trim. The new windows have resulted in a difference in both temperature and noise levels.

In general, Shiner covered all the bases. Shiner personnel, at all levels, took the time to answer any questions and keep us updated with scheduling. Shiner work crews always showed up on time, were friendly and performed excellent work, as well as a willingness to please. We plan to use Shiner in the future for our deck renovation. We recently worked with Shiners Exteriors for the replacement of 12 50-year-old windows in our home. The process from start to finish was exceptionally efficient, and we highly recommend Shiners Exteriors.
Having used Shiners Exteriors for previous window replacements, we decided to get quotes from two other companies. These companies provided lengthy presentations and pressured us to sign immediately for the best price. Shiners Exteriors, however, came out for measurements and sent a competitive quote promptly. Based on our prior positive experience, we chose Shiners Exteriors and scheduled an installation several months later.
As the projected installation date approached, we received updates from the Scheduling Representative regarding the order and proposed times and dates. On the day of installation, the Workers arrived on time and started work immediately. We also had two bay windows replaced under Shiners Exteriors' lifetime warranty. The Installers were courteous and kept us informed of their progress throughout the day. They moved a baby grand piano that was in front of one of the windows. The installation of all the windows was completed in one day, although we had anticipated it would take two days.

Shiner Exteriors has done a number of projects at my house. The latest was taking down the original wooden French doors and windows opening onto the brick patio and replacing them with MI Sunrise vinyl sliding patio doors. The work was done carefully and thoroughly, with everything left clean and in working order. The technicians were very professional and focused on their work. Excellent job!

We have two skylights in our roof that had been installed more than 20 years ago by Shiner. One had developed a very small leak that never dripped but had done some damage to the roof. We decided to replace both of them. Shiner gave us what we felt was a reasonable price, began and finished the job promptly, and we are delighted with the results.

Shiner Exteriors was the easy choice for replacing my roof and gutters after getting estimates from seven companies. The estimator was thorough, knowledgeable, and educated me on what was needed and what my options were but I never felt like he was pushing a sale for unneeded "upgrades". The estimate they sent was by far the most detailed and I had no worries about getting stuck with additional costs once the crew was on site. They also helped me navigate getting a small insurance claim for weather damage to the metal parts (vents, fan cover, etc.). The roofing crew showed up 40 minutes early and got straight to work. These guys busted tail on a 95+ degree hot summer day and were done by 4pm. The gutters were done the next day with the same skill and efficiency. Add to all this that they were the least expensive of the companies that gave full quotes (two companies looked cheaper but left things as TBD based on what they would find during installation). I would, and already have, recommend Shiner Exteriors to others.

Very, very honest and helpful. 2 other companies said we needed a new roof. Shiner said we needed minor repairs and together with other (Non-Roofing) contractors they recommended, all of our issues were resolved. They did what they said they would do and did it well and on time. Highly recommend.

I had Shiner do two homes. Their quote process was the most detailed of the companies i surveyed. Their attention to detail and pride in quality of their work won me over. They communicated well and completed both jobs on time and budget. Id def recommend them.

Shiner replaced our roof in 2001. Called them when a couple of roof tiles came off in 2024. They did not try to sell us a new roof. They diagnosed the problem as stemming from excess heat in attic; installed an attic fan which solved the problem at a fraction of new roof cost.

The barn re-roofing job was performed on time and very efficiently and, importantly, all roofing nails were retrieved. The gutter team was miraculous, completing its job in 1 1/2 hrs.

Reviews for this company look great, and friends had good experience with them. I called to schedule an appointment and a quoter (Ryan) came out the same week as my call and did a thorough job inspecting my roof issue, was pleasant to talk to, and said his quote would be sent to me within the next couple of days.

But here, is the problem... the quote never came. I called and emailed multiple times and received no response. Shiner Exteriors ghosted me. It would have been better to just tell me they were not interested in the work.

After another company’s installers damaged some shingles installing gutter guards on my perfectly Shiner installed two year old roof, I called Shiner for the repair, no wanting to let that companies contractors do the repair. As usual, the process from start to finish was handled professionally with great attention to detail, even for this small job.

As usual, I have been very impressed with Shiner and highly recommend them to all my neighbors.

Had a small repair job. The estimator and contractors showed up on time. They explained what they found and spent more time than I expected fixing the original builder's poor quality work. The scheduling and coordination was excellent.

Shiner came out within 48hrs of my call for an estimate. Bill sis not take my word for what caused the leak, he went up on the roof to inspect…AND into my attic to inspect further! Based on that, and his decades of roofing experience, they provided a reasonable quote to fix the problem. Once crew arrived, work was done quickly, thoroughly, and well. No leaks since!

We fully recommend the Shiner team. Shiner has been making repairs to our roof for the past 16 years. They have helped us extend the life of our roof by patching it to avoid having to do a full replacement. This is the fourth roof repair job that they have done for us, since we moved into this home 17years ago. (The previous owner had another roofer replace the entire roof, without removing the existing shingles, which has created a host of issues/problems). We have been very pleased with the results the job took one day. They arrived on time and were done by 4pm for our fairly easy roof repair. They aren't the cheapest, but I felt very comfortable with the work and feel it is value/quality for money.

I paid an outrageous amount less than two years ago for a new roof. My instructions were, "what ever needs to be done I want to do it now because I do not want to have to do this again for another 15 yrs." less than two years later I have a leak because Shriner did NOT complete the job professionally. I called them and they finally sent an inspector out four weeks later. Finally, they said it wasn't their problem. Not only that, management won't even take my calls. Don't waste your money. Go to someone else. Totally inexcusable and very disappointed.
Now paying over $20,000.00 for a new roof, new gutters, replacing wood, etc because they were unprofessional. I do things right the first time so I don't have to do it every other year. Also, Shriner's hiring practices need to be investigated. They appear to be cutting too many corners.

The job was performed on time as expected. I'm very happy with the workmanship and quality of the products used. This roof will last and look good for a very long time. There were 6 shingle-roofers and 2 flat-roofers involved and everyone worked together very well. The supervisors and the job foreman were responsive to questions. I am confident that Shiner will be responsive should any issues arise in the future.

We found Shiner on Google as one of five companies we looked at for gutter, roof, and siding replacement. Shiner was really professional and thorough and put together a very good proposal (they were right in the middle price wise). They followed up as we weighed our options to make sure we had everything we needed. Communication was very good. The roof and gutters were done quickly; there was a wait for the siding but it was done in a few days. Everything was done well and the house looks great. Clean up was done fairly well though we've found the occasional nail. We're quite happy with the work.

My project was to replace 20 builder windows in 25 years old house. The whole work was handled very professionally and with no sale pressure. I really liked the quality of the Sunrise brand. Indtallation was handled in 2 days, with break for rain days and them my unavailability. Job site was cleaned up, all minor items I found were resolved on the spot. This is local business and I loved dealing with them, rather than one of two behemoths of home improvement not to be named. I will definitely consider them for other exterior projects in the future.

I was very pleased with the siding repair job . We had a leak on the side of the house and during heavy rain storms the water flowed under my porch roof. The technician had it corrected within an hour and a half and used a piece of siding from behind my garage so it matches the side of the house and they also corrected a few cracked pieces between my garage doors. He did a great job, the two new siding pieces blending very well with the old siding pieces behind my garage and I certainly would recommend Shiner Exteriors again to anyone.

Great all around from the proposal to the finishing touches on the deck resurfacing project. The new TREX surface and railing look beautiful and everyone in the company was easy to work with.
