Abry Brothers recently installed pilings under the pillars of my raised house and I found everyone I encountered from Abry to be courteous and professional. The workers were careful to keep the area as clean as possible. In fact, they would come from under the house covered in mud but wouldn’t take their break by sitting in the shade of my porch even though I suggested it to them. Jeff, who supervised the crew, would always take the time to answer my questions in terms I could understand. When the job was over, he made sure everything was picked up and put back to my satisfaction. The receptionist, Janet, was outstanding in that she always would try to get me to someone who could answer my question. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of Abry and would highly recommend them.

I had a sinking spot in the center of my raised house. I called multiple companies for estimates and expected to have to replace joists and sills. I was guessing it would be about $7500. My husband guessed double that based on all of our research and previous consultations. I called Abry Brothers for another opinion and soley based on reviews (on Google and on Reddit).

Thomas Abry came out to take a look and immediately said he knew the issue. He crawled under the house in the fresh mud to confirm and then informed me that my issue was extremely minor, explained in detail what is going on, and told me any contractor could fix it. He estimated it to be well under $500. We called our favorite contractor immediately and he's scheduled to come by this weekend. Thomas saved us thousands of dollars and won our loyalty to Abry Brothers. If I ever need my house leveled or shored, I will call Abry and I will recommend them to anyone who needs a shoring company in the New Orleans area.

Abry Brothers: Thank you so much for not taking advantage of this situation. You could have charged me $3,000 for it and I would have not known the difference. When I offered to pay a service visit fee for their time, Thomas refused. Absolute five star- quality customer service even though I didn't actually need their services.

We had some foundation concerns at our home. Abry Brothers came out to inspect and take measurements. Extremely timely, professional, and thorough. After a thorough evaluation, they actually recommended against any repairs. They could have recommended repair and we wouldn't have known any better, but they did what was best for us and that meant a lot. Highly recommend. Very trustworthy.

We contacted Abry Brothers when some cracked interior walls caused us to suspect that our 60+-year-old two-story brick house was settling. They arrived on time, confirmed the diagnosis, scheduled the work as quickly as possible, and levelled our foundation. The project required their crew to hand-dig under the entire foundation and replace all of the severely rotted wooden pilings with concrete. They finished the project sooner than expected, and did a great job cleaning up our yard. Well done!

In 1982 Abry Brothers leveled my house. After Hurricane Ida I wanted to double check how the foundation was doing before I started repairs on our hurricane damaged interior rooms. I was SO happy with the work they did 39 years ago and was thrilled to find out everything was in great shape. When Thomas stopped by I found out he was the grandson of the gentleman I dealt with all those years ago. This a family owned business who cares about their customers through the generations! Thomas spend time going through my house to give me a thorough assessment. I can't recommend this wonderful company highly enough.

I got a recommendation for this company, and I was very disappointed when I called twice and both times they asked me for what I needed done, asked me the same questions about my name and told me someone would call me to give me a call to schedule an appointment. I did not receive a call even though I told them I need to get a quote by friday. So today I called them back only for them to tell me they no longer provide quotes. I dont understand why I wasnt told that right away. It would have saved me 2 day to know that right away.

Had Abry Bros. come look at some settlement concerns and he talked through the issues in a real friendly clear way and actually recommended I use gutter and carpenters rather than their foundation service to stop the problem. If I have future issues with foundation I will absolutely give them a call.

He had a couple of suggestion for steps we could take ourselves but generally gave us much comfort that our foundation is stable. When we decided midstream that we wanted the foundation to be able to support a potential future camelback, Scott got the engineering turned around in hours. And the crew was exceptional! We had a target date to have the foundation work done. They worked both weekends and finished a day early. And the site clean-up was excellent - the team even pressure washed our courtyard of mud tracked during the process!

I was concerned my house was collapsing and he eased my concerns and said to wait for some time because there's a drought going on, and that drastically affects the soil which affects the foundation significantly and sure enough a few weeks later the house was back to normal. We thought we were having a foundation issue and called The Abry Bros to come check it out. Brook came out promptly when he said he would, was incredibly nice, and was very generous with his time, explaining what was going on with our house and putting our fears to rest in the process. What great customer service - friendly, prompt, and saved us a ton of money! After a cursory look at the warping/cracking on the floors and walls of our house, a different shoring company told us we needed around $5K in leveling work. I'm so glad we consulted Abry Brothers for a second opinion - they did a very thorough assessment, told us we did not need any shoring/leveling, and suggested we instead address a separate issue that is trapping moisture under the house. Since the moisture-remediation issue is not work that they perform, I feel confident that their only motivation was giving us an honest assessment of our problem. How refreshing to recieve such honest services and be given peace of mind!

My boyfriend recently purchased a house with some serious foundation issues (it was 7” off level) and contacted Abry Brothers for the repairs. They were very quick to come out and make an estimate for repairs. They even helped us look at where were able to cut out excessive costs from some of our other estimates. Once they broke ground, the repairs took three days in total. They were so helpful and communicative about everything that was going on. Great work. So happy with the house now.

Gave an accurate estimate for work, accomplished a (for me) major shoring and leveling job with great professionalism and in a very timely manner. Abry’s foundation repair on our house was the best experience we’ve had as home owners! We panicked when we noticed cracks on our wall. Their assessment of the repairs needed was most accurate compared to other companies. They did NOT try to sell us on unnecessary repairs. Also, they were always prompt, easy to contact, transparent, and put us at ease about the repairs. After the work was complete, our property and garden was returned to perfect condition. We sincerely appreciate their help!

I was a customer of the original Abry Bros guys way back in the '70"s
... guess they have since retired... the job then was professional & they guaranteed their work... I had an issue and they immediately fixed.. However, that was then and this is now......
I do not know the quality of work do Abry Bros' do today because they failed to return my phone calls of at least 4 times.... shame.... work values and past customer appreciation is going away with the "ole folks" retiring....

This company was raising tbe house next door & in this City to repair/ paint a house often you have to do work from the neighbors peoperty. There was a serious glitch in repairing my sidewalk after having to remove parts of it. But the had sublet the sidewalk part of it & while it looked right it was not & for several reasons it had to be modified. Abrey Brothers has come & looked at it, brought a gentleman ib from higher up the chain I think & right now they are working on il to make it right. I think if the work does not for any reason meet your requirements, they will stick with it till it is right. As for the house lifting part of the job, it was done carefully, gently & yet very timely. I would say they are a good vompany!
