We are so pleased with our new home built by Sherko. The entire team was attentive to any questions or changes we requested. The process building our custom home went better than I ever expected!
Thank you again for building our amazing home with craftmanship and professionalism.
Excellent builders, built our multi family home from a Pinterest design. Excellent communication, design and all the staff! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
EDITED: to include picture of the siding over a year later, still doesn’t match). We built with Sherco around 3 years ago. Early on in the process they were fine to work with, and the builder trend app was great. (there were some hiccups, but this was to be expected with COVID) During the build process we were told we had a $5,000 appliance allowance (We, including Tom, the owner of Sherco initialed the page) but after we had picked out our appliances we were told that because we changed the kitchen layout our appliance allowance was $1,800. After a compromise, we were able to meet in the middle. Fast forward to after we moved in, we realized they put our septic mound in the incorrect spot, so badly that it crossed over into our neighbors lot and had to be shifted. Due to this, they also had to redrill the well, and in the process did not pack down the driveway well enough causing a huge crack. In addition, they do NOT reach out to you to do the 1 year walk though, you need to reach out to them (a few times) before something gets set up. During the one year walk through we pointed out the TERRIBLE caulking job that was done.(Our house is dark and the caulking turned a light pink) It looked like a toddler had finger painted all over the front of our house. It took them over a year to finally decide on their end who would pay for the fix and repaint the front of our house. Lastly, we had a bowed stud on the side of our house where we have vinyl siding. The siding guy came and ripped off the siding so aggressively that it was not reusable, in addition left ALL the nails in the grass along the side of our house where our 3 little children run back and forth to our backyard. Rather than replacing the siding on the entire side of the house so that it matched, they slapped up some new siding so now the side of our house has mismatch siding that is on display for all driving through the neighborhood to see. When we called the PM to express our concerns and frustrations about this, he said he would speak with Tom, the owner and get back to us. Tom, told him that "They are not responsible for it matching, and that going forward they will be upfront with their customers on that and that if we had questions, we could give him a call" I called Tom and left a message almost 2 months ago, and have yet to receive a phone call, but yet, they can send out a reminder that it might be time to get our septic pumped, and they now offer that as a service.
To say we are less than thrilled with the customer service would be an understatement.
