They are terrible, some of their workers don't have a clue of what they are doing, had a two hour fist fight. After they installed a new roof on it leaked worse for like 10 months ,constantly telling me stories and lies when they didn't know how stop the leaks .

We had Gregory contracting replace the footings on our 3season porch which were heaving. They installed helical piers which seems to be working well so far. The ground is freezing but not all the way. They were very friendly and kept us updated on the project. They used plywood on the lawn so it would not get too much damage and it saved the lawn. Unfortunately some arborvitae got some damage and they said they would be back this spring to check on them and to make it right. All in all we are very pleased with Gregory contracting and would use them in the future if needed.

Work was done when it was supposed to be done, the workmen were very pleasant, very reliable, and did a good, thorough job. The supervisor kept us up on all details that we needed to know.

Over the years, I've had several house projects done by Gregory Contracting. All my projects were done on time by skilled carpenters and roofers. The project manager periodically checks to make sure everything is okay. They do high quality work at a fair price.

Working with Gregory contracting was a great decision, the attention to detail, communication and high quality work truly showed. When Gregory came out they were upfront about the entire process and very timely which put me at ease. While working on my garage floor they kept me updated on events happening and made adjustments to the situation at hand adding more support than expected at no extra cost. The work they do is of high quality and I can not compliment their work enough. There was an issue that arose with some damage to my property during work on my garage before I was even able to consider the damage they had a plan to fix the damage and had implemented plan. I cannot recommend Gregory contacting and my contractor Paul Brandt enough they did great work, with great communication and they owned up to their mistakes and made a plan to fix them. Throughout this whole process I have felt confident in my choice of contractor, I will be contacting Paul Brandt for future projects. Good company, great contractor worth every penny.

I’ve had a disappointing experience with the management at Gregory Contracting. Communication was poor, with delays in responding to inquiries and a lack of transparency about project timelines. Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of organization, leading to several preventable issues during the course of the project. Management seemed more focused on cutting corners than ensuring quality, which ultimately affected the final outcome. I expected a higher level of professionalism and customer service, but unfortunately, Gregory Contracting did not meet those expectations.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Their prices are high, very low quality of craftmanship, and the job isn't done when they say it will be. You will be given excuse and excuse as to why your project will not get completed on time.
Homeowners beware of Gregory Contracting as they sub out to the lowest possible bid thus resulting in very poor results!

They were very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions regarding the exterior of my home. They were fast and friendly, and they left the work area in better conditions than when they came.

I have had three different projects done on my cabin in Anoka county and with every project I was totally satisfied with the work performed. They kept me informed during the process, the price quoted was the price charged and they finished the work on time and cleaned up afterwards. In all I had windows replaced, siding done, kitchen remodel and a new roof.

Gregory Contracting built our deck this summer. They were very easy to work with. They did an excellent job. It was completed in a timely fashion. I will be using them again.

Had a small roofing job with special circumstances and a precarious work space. Estimate was reasonable, scope of work was detailed. Initially every time I spoke with someone, it was someone different, was a little worried about that. Once it was assigned to a project manager, James Heavey, he was a great point of contact. Work was done times, 1 man crew was friendly, efficient and skilled. It took a bit longer than anticipated due to weather but he was good about communicating. Left the area clean every day. Took obvious pride in his work which was much appreciated. Will definitely consult them with my next project.

From first contact to construction to final invoice, Gregory Contracting was a pleasure to work with. We contracted them to work on the exterior of our home, replacing vinyl siding with Hardie Plank, rebuild a deck, and construct pergolas over two sliding doors. The price quoted was reasonable for the scope of work. Our project manager, Nate, was responsive and friendly, as were all who worked on our project. The pergolas were custom-designed and built by Gregory Contracting experts. They are a beautiful and unique feature added to our home. I will be recommending Gregory Contracting to friends and family and I will consult with them for future home improvement projects.

Gregory Contracting was excellent to work with from start to finish on my bathroom makeover.

From listening to my ideas, ordering products, keeping me updated on start dates and progress reports each day, the project went as smooth as possible.

I had an Onyx shower surround installed, shower door and shower system, new flooring, toilet, paint and trim work done. I am extremely happy with the final result.

The entire crew was friendly and a pleasure to work with. I will be considering Gregory Contracting for future home renovations.

Seriously, it was a nerve-racking decision to make, but they made every step about as easy as they could.
No remodel project is ever flawless, so I won't blow a bunch of smoke about perfection. But, from 1st day to completion, our project went about as smooth as it could.
And to our satisfaction, anything that wasn't right was immediately owned and corrected.

Aug 2024 Update - I’m changing my 5-star review to a 2 star review in response to our latest experience with Gregory. They did such a good job on our project last year that we hired them again to JUST replace a tub with a shower – nothing else in the bathroom. We signed up for the project in MARCH yet by the start date in June they hadn’t ordered all the parts – but they started the project anyway. There were no complications with the installation, but between not having peopled to work and not having the parts – the job dragged on 8 days over 4 weeks. I know people that have their tub replaced in ONE day. When I complained I was told they realized the delays were their fault and they'll try harder in the future. They wouldn't even give me a breakdown of my costs and tell me what I paid for! Disappointed and can’t really recommend any more.

Very prompt and direct with getting back to you when asking for a quote or an estimate. Does the research. Nice people answering the phone. Excellent work and excellent communication. What more could you ask for!

Gregory Contracting came out to give me a quote on Windows, Siding, and Soffit & Fascia. They emailed me a one line quote for each. My insurance company asked for it to be broken out into materials and labor (I agree, it should). Toby at Gregory Contracting emailed me and said due to company policy they cannot do that unless I signed a Promissory Agreement that they would get all the work. Who does this? BEWARE of contractors that will not be transparent with their quotes and explain what is, and is not, included. I will not ever use them and surprises me they gave up not only the windows, siding, and soffit/fascia business, but also all new kitchen cabinets and master bath remodel. The owner needs to re-think his business model.

We would definitely recommend Gregory Contracting. They completed our project on a timeline that fit our needs. They were completely in tune with our needs and design elements. Their workmen were courteous and incredibly accommodating. We will certainly use their services in the future.

Very disappointed in this company. Set up an appointment 2 weeks before for an estimate on our basement finish. They never showed up. No call, nothing. I called their main office and the receptionist confirmed that we were indeed on the schedule. She tried to get a hold of the person who was supposed to come to our house; said he wasn’t answering his phone. Then she said he had just changed his schedule to say he was off for the rest of the day. We rearranged our work days for this appointment. Very disrespectful of our time, and our project obviously wasn’t important to them. We would have understood if someone would have just notified us and let us know ahead of time that we needed to reschedule. But no communication whatsoever. We will be looking at other contractors who actually show up when they say they will. Very unprofessional, extremely bad first impression; I do not recommend them.

I had roof damage in one of our storms. They came and tarped it off immediately. They then rescinded my house and it looks awesome. Gregory also had it finished before any of my neighbors' floors were fixed. Great job!

We were extremely impressed with Gregory Contracting. On the first day, they came in to go over everything and then got to work and the whole job was finished in one months time. Their work is exceptional. I love how our one bathroom was transformed into two and they had the vision for this. I highly recommend Gregory Contracting for your next home project.

We had a deck installed by Gregory 16 by 16, the work was amazing and the team was very great to work with the entire experience.
We loved working with the project lead Perry who made sure our deck was of the best quality and was always quick to answer any questions we had.

Gregory did two projects for us, first a relatively small deck refurbishment and then a bigger project of two new spaces which included a hot tub, fireplace and laundry. They did an excellent job in all regards, despite supply chain issues. Project manager Bill Albrecht and carpentry sub contractor Dan Hushagen were responsive, easy to have in our home, and dedicated to quality craftsmanship and customer service.

The team from Gregory did an excellent job on our new deck and screen porch at our lake house. Everything looks fantastic, and exceeds our expectations.

We had Gregory Contracting replace our poorly built deck. They designed a wonderful replacement based on our ideas. Prior to starting, we became those annoying customers who got another idea. They made changes to the plan with grace. The workmen were great guys. They were efficient and clean. Not only did they craft a wonderful deck, their attention to detail was outstanding. We have a better deck than we ever thought we would. Couldn't recommend them more.

They just completed a large addition to my home, which was a significant undertaking. From the time of quote to the final inspection, everything was on time to the day. The job site foreman, Bill was incredible helpful and responsive about what needed to be done. The crew even went so far as to help give me pointers, and ask about plans for finishing's on the inside. They left the job site every day cleaned up, and orderly.

The quality of work performed was top tier. Every minute detail appeared to be well thought out and planned. They did not cut any corners on the structure, and the quality shows.

From a price preceptive, they were competitive. They were not the cheapest I could find but were also not the most expensive. Simply, were well priced in the market.

Cant say enough good about Gregory Contracting. Doing work on your home, typically your largest single investment, can be intimidating and worrisome, especially with all the horror stories you hear. Worth every penny!

We had Gregory install a bay window in our dining room. They were very professional. Put up plastic sheets so the plaster dust would stay by the window. Then we had them put in a couple of windows in a bedroom. Again, very prompt and professional.
