I'd like to thank Shelter Construction Services for helping us through the entire process. I called needing them to look at our roof from storm damage and to get quotes. They worked with us as I waited and battled insurance. Shelter Construction Services can find and get roof colors that other companies just won't put the time and effort into finding. Justin was fantastic from start to finish reworking the estimates to fit our needs and budget to communicating throughout the process. They have professional crews that know what they're doing. They pulled back the siding on my home to insure that the shingles and flashing were done right. These guys are AWESOME! It was raining in my living room and after I changed the date on them a couple times, when I was finally ready they rushed right over and fixed my roof. They were very professional and did a great job. I am very pleased with this company and their staff.

This company was honest, offered options to save her money, didn’t offer things she didn’t need & through the entire process “did the right thing”!! They did what they said they would do, plus fixed surrounding areas that needed fixing as well. They explained the process and gave different options to fix and pay. Definitely the best contractors I have ever dealt with!! I needed my skylight replaced, and I just happened to see one of their trucks passing by, so I contacted them. I spoke with Jeff and Justin who came out and looked at the issue and then gave me all of the information I needed to make a decision. Once agreeing to move forward, the work was done very quickly and without any issue. They kept me in the loop and updated from start to finish. Needless to say my new skylight looks great, and there are no leaks!! The customer service that I experienced was nothing less than service excellence, and for that I am appreciative!!! I highly recommend Shelter Construction Services for any and all of your roofing needs!! A company with good honest people who knows how to treat people.....priceless.

I could not have asked for any nicer people to deal with at Shelter Construction Services. I called and told the person the problem with my roof and as soon as i hung up the phone someone was calling to set up a time to come out and see it. They came out the next day to assess the roof and by the following day they came and fixed it. Super friendly and very knowledgeable of their business. I would recommend them to everyone.

Most knowledgable and honest roofing company in the area. I had a whole new roof and gutters placed on my building. I contacted Shelter construction from a referral I received from a friend. They were awesome! I had a roof leak where our vent pipe is. They are very pleasant to talk with and very professional. I do understand in this day and time a lot of employers do not have a lot of help and are stretched thin and they were very prompt at coming out and getting our job fixed within a couple of days. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Again, I cannot stress how great Shelter Construction is to work with.

James and his crew were phenomenal. I begged a few people to come and fix my roof that was leaking for months. James saw my plea for help on Facebook and reached out to me. My roof was fixed a few days later! I've had no issues since and he explained to me everything he was doing and he actually saw a few other issues that the DIY person that fixed my roof prior had messed up and fixed them too. The price was fair and they are super fast. I will always recommend him.

I had a gentleman come out last year to do a roof inspection. It's my fault it took this long for me to find his information and write this review.

He was prompt and super informative. He did not try to upsell me or convince me that I needed a new roof. He even showed me all the things the look at and look for (yes I was up on the roof with him) when seeing if someone needs a new roof or not, and he showed me all the reasons why, I don't need a new roof and also schooled me on how much life is more than likely left in it.

He even left me behind a free bottle of shingle cleaner if I ever get around to trying to software the roof.

I would highly recommend this company, and I will be using them, if and when I need a new roof.

I was extremely impressed with the quick response time. James’s crew was on the spot with my roof repair. They were professional and did quality work. I highly recommend Shelter Construction Services.

I initiated contact with this company to come to repair my weather damaged front porch and replace my aged out roof on my 1950s home.

They organized an appointment that worked with my busy schedule and came by for a quote. They helped me better understand the shingles that they would be installing before allowing me to choose a color for my roof.

Less than a week later they started the job they found lots of hidden damage within the porch as well as the porch being an had been an add on at some point before my ownership. They were flexible with an on the fly decision to remove the porch entirely to reveal the original roofline.

The rest of the roof needed minor repairs throughout as well as the removal of two leaky and squeaky vents.

Less than a day after the work was completed new gutters, and various bits of flashing were installed front and back to complete the job.

Excellent customer service and with a very fast and efficient work crew.

I needed a full roof replacement on my 130-year old Victorian home. Shelter was quick, responsive, and thorough through the entire process from negotiating with my insurer to completion of the replacement. The team removed, replaced, and put final coating on a complex Queen Anne-style roof in under a week. It looks great and hasn't had any issues since installed. Will definitely do business with them in the future. Pricing is very reasonable and the service is a great value.

Super quick to come out and assess the issue with my leaking low slope roof section and then to do the repair in advance of incoming heavy rain. Repairs ended up being more extensive than I'd expected, corners had been cut in previous work to the roof and deck. James was great about keeping me informed and going the extra mile with his crew to ensure the job was done right this time. Thank you!

Anxiety and stress were just two well known factors when previously happy home owner discoverers he needs a major roof repair or Oh! My a complete roof replacement. Believe me it seems like anyone with a nail-gun was the answer to my dilemma; however, when asked do you have insurance? Our happy roofers dropped by well over half, then what shingle do you recommend? and Oh! what is the guarantee, along with a few other nice to have items. Then we talked about another strange term "squares", one vendor might measure the roof at 62 squares and another comes in and measures the "same" roof at 55 squares. Then you ask for their estimate. Some gave an estimate a week or so later and another's estimate was more than I paid for my first home. Oh! Well, to make a long story a little short, James Silvey of Shelter Construction Services is the quote "Real Deal" unquote. On all items he did as he promised. His crew the best of the best. Now don't take my word for this, do your own checks and when you return in a couple weeks I'll say "I told you so."

These folks did a great Job!! They stayed true to their word and went out of there way to make sure every thing was satisfactory. They were on time and finishing the job in the time promised.Gutters and and roof looks great. I highly recommend their services.

On Sunday 9/11/22, I noticed a water stain in my kitchen ceiling. The next day in going to my warranty website, 3 roofers were listed in my area affiliated with this warranty company. Shelter Construction Services had 5-star reviews, so I gave them a call. My first impression was the friendly manner in which my call was answered. After relating my problem, the gentlemen said that either he or someone else would contact me later in the day. Sure enough later that afternoon, Mr. Travis Wilson (the owner of the company) called and said he would be at my house in 15 minutes. He arrived promptly. Mr. Wilson was also very friendly and professional. After assessing my problem, he explained to me what probably caused the leak and did the necessary repair. He even looked in my attic to be sure he did not see any water damage there. Mr. Wilson did this without a charge. I would definitely call this company for any roofing repairs and recommend them to anyone who may need roofing services.

Found shelter through a google search and called them for a roof repair. Amazingly quick response time. Roof was replaced and all issues were addressed. Employees stayed in contact with us throughout the process. Later had shelter come back to install new gutters. Again, the process was smooth and easy. The representative laid out exactly what the job would be, the time line and the costs. Fantastic company to work with and would recommend them for any and all repairs.

Excellent company. We had our entire roof replaced and it looks AMAZING! All of our questions and concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. I had a couple of issues with my roof over the last year. James Silvey at Shelter Construction was quick to respond and found the problem. Got an estimate and their pricing was competitive. They did some custom cooper work around my chimney and put up new gutters. Then I developed a leak in a bedroom ceiling. I called James again. It turned out one bad nail in my roof was causing the leak. I can’t say enough about the customer service of this company. Friendly, dependable and professional!

We had a leak in our bedroom ceiling and had been trying to get in touch with many different companies before I called Shelter Construction. They sent a man to look at my roof the same day, within an hour of calling, and he was able to locate the problem and fix it quickly, and he did it without charge! So far, we have not had anymore issues with our ceiling. I highly recommend these guys for any roofing need!

After many different roofers came and couldn't find my leak, Shelter came and found the problem immediately. James Silvey, Shelter Supervisor, diagnosed the problem, set up the time and he and his crew quickly and efficiently repaired my roof. I called Shelter Construction for an inspection and estimate on my roof. HL was right on time and took pictures for me as I can’t climb a ladder, he showed me the places that were needing attention as he explained the process the company uses. I was impressed by his knowledge and the 50 year warranty that came with my roof. The crew were very hard working and made sure the handicapped ramp was clear for me at the end of the day.

The workers were very efficient. Mr Silvey got back with me promptly anytime we had a question or concern. The qorkers cleaned up everything when they were done and they finished the job in one day, I am very happy with the results!

In April, 2020 we called Shelter Construction Services and two other local roofers to get an estimate on replacing our roof. One of the other roofers did not call us back. The other gave us a higher estimate than Shelter and claimed that we had 5 more roofing squares to cover than what we actually had! We mainly worked with H.L. during the sales process. He was very professional, explained the entire process in detail, answered every question we had, and was not pushy at all. We decided to go with Shelter and are so glad we did! They replaced our roof in May, 2020. We have a large roof with a lot of ridges. They did the entire job in about 1 1/2 days. Their crew is as hardworking as we have ever seen and they cleaned up the mess each day before leaving. The week after they finished it rained every day and we had no leaks whatsoever. It has been almost 5 months now since they finished and we have had zero issues and could not be happier with the job they did. They also took care of handling all of the warranty registration. We simply had to check the mail about 6 weeks later to receive our GAF warranty packet. Excellent service with a 50 year warranty is tough to beat!

After a very negative experience with another company I called Shelter to come look at my leaky roof and they were incredibly professional and responsive. Within an hour of calling them they were at my house to give me an estimate and they were able to do the repair the same day. They gave me multiple options for how to fix my roof and they were genuinely helpful in helping me understand the pros and cons of each option. At no point did it feel like they were simply trying to upsell me or push me towards the more expensive option. So far the work has been good and my roof hasn't leaked at all. I would recommend them to anyone and would certainly call them again in the future.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Shelter Construction. From start to finish, the whole crew was amazing. H.L., who did our estimate, took photos of our roof and took the time to go over them to show me exactly what the problems were. James, who handled the financing, didn't give up when we ran into a couple of snags in the paperwork and made sure we got what we needed in order to get the job done. Anytime I had any questions, day or night, I could always contact them and they would respond right away. The crew was completely professional and worked 12 straight hours in the middle of July to get the job done in one day. I would most definitely recommend Shelter Construction.

After speaking with Travis, Shelter Construction dispatched a crew the next day to repair the roof. James and his crew were great! After the initial communication issues, I am satisfied with the service. I will wait for some rain to evaluate the job quality.

Calls are not returned and no one shows up or calls when scheduled repair date is missed.
Totally unresponsive!
