Everything was handled quickly during my recent oil change. The Technician was great, as was the Receptionist. Shout out to Yenni the Customer Care specialist who always speaks to me in the waiting area and makes sure I know about the beverages and snacks that are available. She also asks about my customer experience.

Jacob politely explained in detail to me what corrective service needed to be done to my Toyota Sienna van that I purchased from Danville Toyota in 2013. I scheduled a time for service, dropped my van off that morning, and got it that afternoon after the service had been completed.

Thanks, Danville Toyota, for the great, courteous, and professional service. Claude S. Moore, EdD

We had been looking for a newer hybrid Toyota for a few months without having much luck. We stopped in to Danville Toyota and Hazem "Zoom" Aziz came to greet us. He, in short time, found us the car we wanted. He sent us photos of new arrivals, within a week we had the car we were looking for. Smooth, transparent, and honest transaction. Thank you Zoom (sales)and Janet(loan officer).

I had a great experience purchasing my new 2025 Corolla with Hazel “Zoom” Aziz. Met him one weekend and let him know what I was looking for and he periodically updates me via text when they had something that matched my wishlist. Process was smooth!

I call today 06/11/2025 midafternoon because driving to North Carolina my Sequoia had problems with the AC. So they welcome me and fix it in about 1 hour. The people there is wonderful, specially Yeny Gluhareft and a lady who speaks Spanish at the entrance, they are wonderful people to do business with. I’m from central Virginia but I definitely want to recommend 5 stars to them. Thanks to them I ended my trip with AC …really could.

Terrible experience with the service department. I had just purchased a used vehicle and it had a service engine light on so I took it here. It took a long time for them to check the code and rotate the tires, there was no sense of urgency at all. Finally, I was told that the part that needed to be replaced was supported by some kind of warranty, the receptionist gave me all this paperwork stating the issues with the part and that there would be no charge to get this part replaced. She called me a few days later letting me know that this part had come in and if I could set up an appointment to drop the vehicle off. Everything is good up until this point, I drop the vehicle off the day before so they could have plenty of time to work on it and first thing that following morning at 8:02AM I received a call from them saying that they had made a mistake, it’s a different part number that will not be covered by the warranty or whatever, that it would come out of pocket from the customer. For me, it seemed that they had this information beforehand and waited until the vehicle was already there for them to call me and let me know. In turn, wasting my time and effort to get the vehicle dropped off only for them to tell me that they’re going to charge me $600+ on a part that was covered by this supposed warranty. I denied their services and will not be visiting or recommending this Toyota service department.

I recently brought my Volvo to Danville Toyota for a tire replacement and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. Before coming in, I called eight different places to find a specific tire that’s hard to come by and none had it in stock. When I called Danville Toyota, I spoke with service advisor Jacob, who provided the most helpful and professional assistance over the phone. He quickly ordered the tire and had it ready by the next morning.

When I arrived for my appointment, the service techs faced a challenge getting the screws off my tire, but they didn’t let that stop them. They worked with patience and care to make sure nothing was damaged, and still got the job done efficiently. The level of professionalism and dedication was impressive.

A big thank you to Jacob, my service advisor, who made the entire experience seamless. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely committed to getting things done right. His professionalism and reliability truly stand out.

Thank you to Jacob, all the mechanics, and service team at Danville Toyota.

Had the pleasure of working with Hazem ‘Zoom’ Aziz, new to this career he was knowledgeable and worked within dollar perimeter I gave him. Since he is new and needed questions answered he politely excused himself to get appropriate information. I got the car I wanted at the price wanted and left with my car. Everyone was satisfied!

Came to this dealership 4/4/25 to have a tire rotation done on 2017 Rav4 vehicle. Previously we had gotten a quote for Brakes and Rotors to be done for $680 and declined the service. Decided to have the work done with another Service Dept. which is accredited to preform work on Toyota vehicles. During the return visit for a tire rotation, the service dept. broke a stud for the tires. They tried to say that is was damaged at the previous shop that did the brakes and rotors. I know for a fact that is was not the case. It was not broken when I came into the shop for service. The Service Dept. at Danville Toyota charged Us to replaced a lug and bolt that THEY BROKE!!! $11.89 for parts and $130.89 labor. In all my years as a vehicle owner/commercial driver I have never been charged for something that the Service Tech broke until this visit. I was very disgruntled with the fact Danville Toyota Service Dept. was not accountable for the Damage that they caused to my vehicle.

We traded in an old vehicle which was in less-than-stellar condition and bought a much newer, nicer used vehicle. Cortez was great to work with—no pressure, but very helpful and patient. In fact everyone we dealt with, from sales to trade-in to negotiating the final price, was great to deal with. We never felt like we were being deceived or taken advantage of and we got a fantastic vehicle for a really good price.

I’m not one who likes car salesweasels or car dealerships in general. I wanted a Prius Prime and the dealerships in the Triangle wanted to tack on an extra $6,000 because-we-can fee. And I would just get me on some list for future delivery (maybe).

Found the car I wanted online at Danville Toyota. Had the good fortune of working with Jane, who made the process, simple, clean and easy. Plus, no because-you-can fees. It’s a no brainer to leave the inflated pricing of the Triangle to take a rural drive to Danville to save money and have the whole process straightforward, affordable and easy. Highly recommend working with Jane, in particular.

I had a need for a new Toyota after my 13 year old Camry had extensive repair needs. I chose to buy new and upsize to a RAV4 XLE. Hybrid. I highly recommend the hybrids for fuel efficiency and dependability. Everyone at Danville Toyota was helpful from Kirk Wilkes, the sales manager, Jacob Tatum, service manager, Jane Martin, Jamar Jones sales consultant and especially *Teresa Wiseman. A great dealership that stands with you, day in and day out no matter what you need they are responsive. They had what I wanted. It all went well and I’m very happy. Our home only drives vehicles from DANVILLE TOYOTA!

Worked with Jamar Jones to buy my new Grand Highlander and couldn't be more pleased. Jamar was incredibly knowledgeable about all the vehicles we compared and assisted me in getting the entertainment module set up and connected once we were ready to head home. Completed purchasing with Buck and it was super efficient, quick, and painless. I can't thank everyone enough for their time and help during this purchase.

They cleared my parking brake malfunction in the computer. They said it did not resolve the issue and the brake light continued to flash.
The service advisor came to me with the cost to repair it. They wanted to charge me $3500.00 to replace brake calipers, parking brake actuators and some other stuff.
I told him that there is nothing wrong with the calipers sticking and if there was, they would have been red hot after driving 30 miles to dealership. I also told him that I tested the actuators with 12v power source and they extended and retracted with no problem.
I told them that I did not want them to do the work that didn't need to be done. I drove home and tried to engage the parking brake by holding up the parking brake lever for about 30 seconds. I heard the parking brake actuators running and then stopping. At that time the parking brake light went out. I was charged the $130 diagnostic fee and they didn't do anything but try to rip me off.

Overall Jane was good and I got a good deal on the vehicle but when I called to let them know that front end was out of line I was told that the mechanic would call back and as of today 9/24/24 I have not hear from mechanic.. I had no choice but to take it somewhere else to get fixed.. and the day I got the vehicle I was told that they would fixed the scratches on it and still has not been fixed.. again I’m gonna have to pay someone else to fix it for me..

Jane was an absolute pleasure to work with regarding my inquiry on a Corolla GR. She made excellent conversation, was knowledgeable about the vehicle, and wasn't pushy about the sale. I felt treated like a friend rather than just a potential sale.

Bought a 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross from these people. Paid 32,000 for a car that had a faulty microphone off the line the issue was I had to yell for anyone to be able to barely hear me, even then they couldn't understand me.

Jacob, and a few others gave me the run around for almost a year and a half and I had to bring it back THREE times just for them to tell me "We cant replicate the issues when we have it here" "It must be your phone, our phones work fine with it" my phone is 5 years old and it worked with the 2023 rav4 rental they gave me. I mention this and they tell me "The rental has a different multimedia device". So I get my car back and test it again with my phone and 2 different iphone 15s and the same issue persists (side note: the iphones didn't work from the start of connecting whereas my phone worked for about 15 minutes before going out WHEN it worked)

I call back and tell them about the newer iphones having the same issue just to be told by Jacob "I'm going to be out until next Wednesday, I will get intouch with my rep and will contact you wednesday". Wednesday comes around no call, text, or email (not the first time this has happened either). I call then Thursday got placed on hold for someone to take my name and number, and I never received a call. I call back Friday to be told by Jacob for the 2nd time "We cant replicate the issue when we have it here".

Final thoughts: screw Danville Toyota. My phone doesn't have the issue some times, and usually when it works I can talk for about 15 min or so before it goes out. They tell me they make a phone call for 4 minutes and that is supposed to mean the car works perfectly fine I guess? Whatever though, its more about me paying 32,000 for a car that doesn't fully work that pisses me off. Anyway congrats on scamming me out of my warranty. Also thanks for the free oil changes, you aren't getting another dime from me.

EDIT: Since i can not reply to their response I will do it here. It isn't about meeting "expectations"its about paying $32,000 for a car that has a faulty microphone off the line, and your people basing the conclusion from a 4min phone call, that probably didn't even happen. Lastly why when I waste my time calling the number provided when they're just going to tell me the exact same thing again?? That number is literally the number that I've been calling since I got the car to try to get the issue fixed... Pathetic.

Had my 2005 Corolla towed to Danville Toyota. The diagnosis was that the clutch went out. After being in the shop for 2 weeks to get the clutch replaced, I was then informed the transmission needed to be replaced, and the total cost of getting my car back on the road would be almost double what I was quoted. This new quote was significantly more than my 20 year old car was worth. After several discussions about the misdiagnosis, and the financial bind that I now faced, Jacob (the Service Manager) went to bat for me. He negotiated with the General Manager to get the total repair done for the "Private Sale" value of my car, saving me over $1000. It took a total of 33 days to get me back on the road, and my car seems to have been repaired properly. Kudos to Jacob for having my back. However, I can only give 4 stars because of the misdiagnosis, and for slow status update communication in the first 2 weeks. Overall, I am happy with the outcome.

A few years ago I went to Danville Toyota for an oil change and they told me a rear light assembly needed to be replaced. They charged me for it and I paid Virginia state tax on the parts and labor and I waited a few more hours. I wanted everything taken care of because I was driving home to Oregon (where there’s no state sales tax) I got to Oregon and the light they “replaced” and charged for was out. I went to my local Toyota service with my receipt and when they replaced it, they told me the light assembly was the original and Danville never did the work for which I paid. This was not a bulb replacement but the entire assembly that costs well over $100. People, don’t go here. They think nothing of lying and ripping you off. Do not trust this dealership. This came up because I’m in Danville again now and a rear light is out. I’ll find a mechanic I can trust. DO NOT TRUST DANVILLE TOYOTA.

I cannot say enough great things about Danville Toyota. Juan and Eli made the whole experience amazing. If you belong to a racial minority, they will treat you unfairly. Their incompetence in handling business matters led them to deny our right to register the car at our out-of-state address and receive a rebate. Cortez was initially accommodating and willing to meet our needs over the phone. However, once they realized we were minority, they began discriminating against us at the dealership, constantly denying us by enforcing their written rules that restricted our rights. Despite our qualification for a rebate and out-of-state car registration, as stated on the government website, the Sales Manager (worst manager) appeared reluctant to sell us the car. It comes as no surprise that their weak business skills have resulted in unsold inventory. In Virginia, we are filing a discrimination charge against Cortez Barksdale and Douglas Hall, citing race, color, and national origin, with the Better Business Bureau and Government Agencies. They do not deserve any positive rating, and I would strongly advise against doing business with them.

I love taking my vehicle to Danville. I will not go to Rice Toyota to have my vehicle fixed simply because they like to cheat people. I took my vehicle to Rice Toyota. They told me what the problem was but then when I took my vehicle back to get it fixed they said I didn't have a problem. I took it to Danville Toyota and they fixed the problem. This place is incredibly awful. The salesperson, Cortez, performed poorly in his role and had us to endure a wasted 10-hour drive. He lacked knowledge about his job and neglected to inform us about the car state registration and rebate. It's not just Cortez; the entire sales and management team are incompetent in business matters and lack the ability to close deals. They discuss rules and policies, but “their dealership rules” are deeply flawed in every aspect. Unlike other dealerships that were willing to exceed expectations by offering rebates and accommodating state regulations, they were unwilling to do so. Normally, Toyota Highlander Hybrids get sold like a bread due to its demand, however, they still had 2023 “new” one in the lot, sitting over 3 weeks. They had a good deal, which puzzled me why the car wasn’t sold for a long time. I figured they lacked a good businessman skill and capability. Cortez initially appeared agreeable and positive in response to my questions, but as I got there, he became inflexible and repeatedly refused in several matters. If you’re thinking about getting one of their rebate offers, I save you time - they will not give that to you. Although I had all verification of my recent graduation documentation, they would deny them. What a joke! I strongly advise against doing business with them. If you plan on traveling from a distance, I would advise you to save your time, gas, and energy and avoid going there at all costs. While I was at the dealership, I witnessed two elderly women complaining about their recent transaction, which raised another major concern. If possible, I would rate them zero star, as they do not deserve even a single star. AGAIN, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

Update needed: While the sales experience was great, they dropped the ball for my out of state purchase title work. I initially financed the vehicle, because the dealership wouldn't/couldn't take a personal check/ACH/Cashier's check. I then paid it off 10 days later. They dropped they ball on the titling the purchase....Purchased it 11/9. Paid off the loan 11/20. Finally got title on February 12th... 3 MONTHS later. When talking with the bank and my state's DMV the problems always went back to the fact the paperwork was sluggishly and inaccurately processed from the dealership. I had to call numerous times to get the ball rolling on their end.

Jane Martin was an excellent salesperson. She was knowledgeable, helpful, and answered my questions. She went out of her way to give me a video of the car because I was coming a very long distance to pick up the car. She even shot video of the underneath of the vehicle, when asked. Jane was helpful and friendly throughout the process. I knew what I wanted and Danville Toyota had the exact car I was looking for, so it was an easy transaction. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't exert pressure on me to buy things I did not need with the vehicle. All around it was an easy car buying experience, coming from out of state.

Went for VA inspection. Everyone was nice. Lady asked if I needed shuttle service (I did not need), she was very nice also. I had toyota wipers installed because they are better than ones at auto parts store and worth the extra money to me. They got me in and out good without a long wait.

I was traveling through the area yesterday and had an emergency light come on. Fortunately for me, I had just passed a billboard alerting me that Danville Toyota wasn't far away. When I got to the service department, I told Jacob the Service Advisor I was traveling through the area when the problem occurred. He immediately got me in for service, and Austin the mechanic took over to diagnose and resolve problem. While I was waiting, no less than half a dozen different staff offered me snacks or beverages. And in no time at all, they had me back on the road again. This is THE BEST service center I've ever visited! My only complaint is that they are three hours away from where I live, so I cant come back for any additional services. THANK YOU Jacob, Austin and Danville Toyota for doing it right!

Do no waste your time at any other dealership. Whether you are purchasing or just browsing Doug the Gm and his team Eli and Cortez and Buck at Danville Toyota will make you feel like you are on paradise! No pressure and no feeling like you are at a time share. To start Doug the gm is awesome he is a sweetheart and will show you all the cars you want before you make your final decision he will even bring your final two cars and park them side by side to help you make a decision and it was and never will be a rushing process with him he told me I can take all the time I wanted. So before leaving Cortez did my final paper work not only that but he open the car door for me and adjusted my seat he went above and beyond to make me feel really special after my big purchase. The team also gave me a full tank and a free car detail! I recommend both Eli and Cortez even through Eli did not do my paper work he made sure I got a new battery for my key and before I forget the warranty guy buck stayed after hours to help me pick out the best warranty and he will make you laugh and will answer any question professionally. Overall hands down the best dealership in Danville. I do not even live in Danville it takes me 30 minutes so the commute is well worth it. For future I will be using them to upgrade thank y’all for taking care of me.

I normally put positive review & experience & try to stay positive but I had to share my experience with Danville Toyota Took my scion few month back to Danville Toyota cuz of check engine light on & after new spark plugs was put on it they charge me $560 for oil change & diagnostic & re change my spark plugs even though I told spark plugs was just replaced & it's most likely the coil pack they said that's what's it's reading less than 2 week I had the same issue while was out of town I took it to 2 local shops where I was & they said it's the coil pack ! I went back week & explain the issue to them & service advisor said bring it back Monday & we will check it for you no charge I bring my car today to get it checked out & they said it's the coil pad & $115 for diagnost the car ! I know for fact that was the main issue to begin issue now I can't leave the dealership untill I pay the $115 ! I do not recommend them very bad experience I will taking them to small claim court to get my money back cuz they replaced something that was already replaced!

It took me a while to update my old review. But now I want to express our sincere appreciation for the outstanding service received at the Toyota Danville dealership. The entire team consistently demonstrates professionalism and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Each employee, from those in sales to service, contributes to a positive experience. We especially want to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of the staff, which truly made the visits memorable, like Jacob Tatum, Yenni Gluhareff, Jamar Jones, Tim Crews, Elijah Williamson, and many others. Overall, the dedication of the employees reflects positively on the dealership. So if you're looking for a dealer with great customer service and fair deals, look no further, Danville Toyota is the place!!!

Nick Bello, Jose Barraza, and Lamar Jones are a great team and an excellent asset for Danville Toyota.
Both times that I have been there to buy my cars, they have been really helpful.
Thank you, guys!!!

Tommy in the Service department is what customer service should always be. I love it when he's there because he takes care of his customers and does everything to accommodate them. But checking out can be unnerving, depending on who's there. Too often I've gotten unfriendly service and talking on the phone while taking my money. I don't like that.

Thanks to the General Manager for the very kind and generous gift card appreciation in the mail. What place does that!
