The installers were very friendly,clean and efficient! The whole process was easy as they all helped with the process. Even the owner himself came to check the work to make sure it was to his liking!!! GREAT JOB TEAM!

I was hoping to wait a bit to post this because I’ve seen the way the company handles complaints and just didn’t want the beef. The guy who came for our estimate threw his coat on our dogs cage, didn’t offer to take off his shoes, spoke quickly and confused the crap out of us. He started talking about drilling into brick and ignoring our concerns solely for our attic. Wanted to turn a $200 job into a $5,000+ job. We just wanted our attic done, nothing else! He essentially wanted to cover our entire house top to bottom. Maybe it’s not the most effective to just do the attic, I’m not sure because I barely understood what he was saying to us, but that’s what we, as customers wanted. If money was no object maybe then it wouldn’t of been an issue. At the very end after he went entirely around our home for measurements and pestering him about the attic did we get a quote for that but then he refused to write it down? He only wrote the expensive quote for everything. Even at the very end my mother and I were looking at each other wondering what, of anything, did the man say, tell us, or write us a quote for? There was no clarification on anything. Almost like one of those car shops that’s hoping if they say it quick enough you won’t notice you don’t need that because you’re a woman and can’t or shouldn’t understand those types of things.

Which by the way we did I ended up doing batts solo. An had an inspection afterwards to prove it was done right. So I knew what I wanted but clearly wasn’t listened to. If it was too small a job for the company, could’ve just said so. There’s plenty of handymen around who need an extra few hundred.

Would of given 5 stars but the installation crew had to come out several times to finish the job because they did not read the work order other than that our Salesman we worked with was excellent and didn't try to over sell us. Any issues that came up the person I talked to on the phone. I believe her name was Kayla, understood my concerns and resolved them to best of her ability. The gutters look great. Will definitely consider them for future projects.

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had with home improvement! Punctuality! Quality of work! Quality of material! Quality of people from sales right through installation! We used Shelby Construction 2 years ago for a new roof, siding and windows. Tim, the owner, was great to work with. He explained all the different products, delivered on the time lines and any issues that came up, he addressed. Recently, we noticed a large dent on the trim around the garage (our fault, not the companies). I reached out to Tim, texted him a picture of the damage, and asked if they could fix it. He said they'd handle it. I left for work this morning and realized they must've come in the past few days, because the area was good as new! We are beyond impressed. I had Shelby Construction do the siding for my home. I’m very disappointed how the finish product turned out. Our first issue was our siding started to buckle due to the installer face nailing my siding. The installer came out and repaired my issue by adding more nails to the face of my siding. This caused the siding to be much worse. After addressing my concern with the office they decided to redo the siding which was appreciated. Now we have issues where our siding is coming apart and we find pieces in our driving. Very disappointing as this cost us over $7,000.

I worked with Shelby Construction and had a great experience with my roof, gutters, and window trim claim. Mike my rep helped with walking me through the process and made sure that any questions I had were answered immediately. Other companies didn't want to work because it was insurance, but Mike made me feel good to know that Shelby were the ones to get the job done. The entire team from Mike, to the office, to the crews were professional and courteous.

We saw excellent reviews of Shelby Construction and decided to include them in our search for a company to install a roof and all new siding at our home.

We interviewed 4+ companies and decided to go with Shelby, as the owner was willing to come out and talk to us about our job. We had some unique aspects. We were adding in all new lighting outside, so we needed electrical work done as well. We were opening 2 windows to make them wider, so there was a bit of construction as well.

What is important to me as a real estate attorney who has sued builders, is having one party to go to if something goes wrong or something is incomplete. The buck must stop with ONE company, and then A PERSON who stands behind that company’s overall work – including any crews the contractor brings to your home.

It was immediately clear this owner, Tim, would act as that backstop and I wouldn't have to chase multiple subcontractors pointing fingers at each other if there were problems.

The roof was done in a day and the siding took about ten. There were some minor things that came up, and they were all addressed quickly and professionally.

All this was done last year and I didn't want to leave a review then, because systems like siding and roofing can't really be judged immediately.

Here we are a year later and both are performing as expected.

I would recommend them and have already.

I know what you are thinking. Yeah right. A flowery review. But I promise you that I am TOUGH when it comes to interviewing and evaluating vendors. When I began my process of interviewing for siding and gutters, I warned each salesperson that my alarm was set for one hour. I had done my homework, knew exactly what I wanted and didn't have the time or patience to deal with a sales speech. I interviewed a wide range - from a national chain all the way to independent businesses. From the moment that Paul showed up, Shelby Construction was different. My time, homework, intelligence and budget were all respected. No trying to upsell me on stuff I don't need. He went right to work and the price was less than half of some others, with innovative solutions to unique structural issues that I have, that no one else was willing to handle. Within one hour and 10 minutes, it was a done deal, complete with financing that beat what I could have gotten from a home equity loan. (My credit score is excellent and I already knew what the others offered in terms of rates.) Everything they promised happened like clockwork, they kept me informed and the crew was OUTSTANDING!!! I have never seen such a clean work site EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! They respected my home and yard and were hard workers, doing an absolutely perfect job. They were pleasant and not a bother to have around in the least. I had a question during the process and I got a personal phone call from Tim the owner to make sure I was happy. They finished the entire project so fast I was stunned. Nicole in the front office made sure I knew everything that was going to happen, so I understood the process. I quite literally have never been happier with a home improvement project and wish desperately that I had known about Shelby Construction when I got my windows done! From start to finish our experience was flawless.
This was the first time that I’ve had to purchase a roof for my home, and we met with several companies before going with Shelby Construction. I felt a level of honestly that is hard to find. They had an option to meet our needs, and because of the condition of my prior roof, they had a crew out as soon as it was safe enough to get on the roof.

Hired the Shelby Construction team to replace my house and garage roofs. My house is older and the team made sure everything on the roof was updated to newer standards; thus protecting the roof for greater longevity. The team was great to work with and great seeing Tim (the owner) on site to check on things. Would do business with the team again in the future.

I do have to give a special shout-out to Nicole, who works in the Shelby Constuction office. She was my go-to if I had a question about financing or anything at all. But she also helped me because I am wishy-washy and second guessed, the roof and gutter colors I initially chose, right before she was going to place the order. She emailed me the color options again, then sat on the phone with me for like 20-30 minutes while we both tried all the different color options on an online house simulation and discussed which we liked the best. Nicole helped me a bunch- and my selections turned out beautifully!

Fred came out to my home. He listened and answered all of my questions. Explained all the materials used for roofing by Shelby Construction. Fred even explained how the roof line vent works in tandem with the overhang vents and the side roof line vents. Also, explained exist vents like on the face of my garage would need to be covered on the inside for proper flow. Explained how my current box can vents would get covered via an insert before the new roofing materials were put on. Fred walked around my home taking measurements and diagramed my roof. Learned about their Fully Transferrable Guaranty. Estimate was 4 to 5 weeks later, they would start working on my roof. Soon, I learned it was going to be quicker than that. Will post again later with pictures.

He was very patient with all my questions and explained every detail from installation, products and financing very thorough. I've had two companies not even show up. Not sure if that was because I'm not in a fancy neighborhood, but Paul gave the same treatment as if I were. I've found my roofing company. Thank you Paul, hospitality goes along way. We choose Shelby Construction after looking through dozens in the area. They were not the cheapest, but the value compared to others was immediately seen. The offered warranties, were always responsive, pleasant to talk to (Tim, Nicole & all the on site workers over and above kind) and offered more purchasing options than all the others. I am 100% satisfied with our decision. We ran into some unforeseen circumstances; unfortunately this happened multiple times. EVERY time they were quick to respond and fixed beyond our expectations. Two actually costs them money that I said was not necessary and planned to spend ourselves, but Tim took care of it; even over a year later from weather damage!! All of their work (front makeover of removing nasty siding, gutters and an awning to beautiful new siding and gutters) looks amazing and is holding up wonderfully. Not to mention there is no price that can be paid on the peace of mind in knowing any problems will always be cared for quickly. I am very thankful we chose Shelby Construction and highly recommend their services to all.

I was referred to Tim by a family friend because we needed a new roof. He personally came out himself to make sure we were good in hands. We received a quote from Power Home that was over $7k more than what Tim quoted us for. Shelby Construction offers 4 different types of roofs. My siding looks beautiful! The price was good. I felt comfortable with Paul and Tim right from the start! I needed fascia, soffit, and freeze board replaced replaced around entire house and also decided on replacing with all new gutters. I contacted multiple companies and received quotes. Paul, from Shelby Construction, promptly came out, discussed what I needed and what they would do, and provided a quote. At first meeting, I was extremely impressed with Paul and Shelby Construction and I knew I wanted to work with them. Their quote did not come in as the lowest, however, we were able to discuss and negotiate an agreed upon fair price.

Once the material and product was delivered, I received a call for a day they could start. Shelby Construction had 2 different teams that would be doing the project, a soffit/fascia team and gutter team. Both teams arrived early the day we were scheduled, working all day in order to complete the project. During the whole process, Paul was in constant contact in order to follow up. Also, Tim (the owner) stopped by multiple times to follow up on the project and to discuss any questions I had. Overall, Tim, Paul, and their teams were very professional and I would highly recommend Shelby Construction Services.

This company did an excellent job installing a new roof, gutters and new siding. The sales man Paul was very informative.
