I am very grateful Bill was referred to me by his friend Rudy at Toss-It Junk Removal (also a great guy) a couple years ago when I was renovating my farm to be a forever home for rescue pigs. Bill hauled away over 50 tons of hazardous broken concrete, over 100 cubic yards of barn debris, and a busted up old building. He also installed a gravel parking pad off my driveway so I could park my truck out of the way and took care of some dangerous tree limbs. He was out on 4 separate occasions and it was always a great experience and he truly is a top notch professional at what he does. He always delivers great value and ensures you know exactly what you are getting. I look to having him back out for future projects and I cannot recommend him enough.

Bill with SHC did an excellent job clearing and cleaning up a ton of overgrowth around my elderly father’s property. Bill was great to work with, he’s fast, friendly & most importantly ensured all the dead trees were removed safely. He even got up on the roof and cleaned out the gutters so my father would not be tempted to try it on his own. If you are looking tree removal or dirt work I would highly recommend SHC. Thank you Bill for the outstanding work.

We found Bill as we began a pretty comprehensive cleanup and renovation of a 124 year old building and its surrounding property. Very realistically, we couldn't have done the work without him. From taking down derelict buildings, to endless dumpster loads of demo debris, to clearing large swaths of property thick with blackberry, grapevine, and wisteria vine, to digging field drainage ditches, and so much more, we trust Bill to do the work, have the correct equipment, and be very fair about pricing. As any homeowner knows, there are no end to the projects, and we'll keep calling Bill to help us with them.

Highly skilled equipment operator. Good communicator. Fast and extremely efficient service; came as promised when promised, removed four 22 yard dumpsters of renovation debris from my property in a single day, and came in over $400 under budget! That's a rare thing for the construction industry! Call this guy with confidence, would highly recommend!

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
