Back Country Painting is the best option around this area. They are reasonably priced, efficient, detail oriented and patient. I had them do the entire interior of my home before I moved in, and two of the colors, when on a wall instead of a tiny chip, were horrendously bright. So after they had almost finished the whole house, I asked them to please repaint a good portion of it, and they didn't complain, they just did the work. Then I recently had them paint the exterior of my home, and they didn't just slap the paint on. First they washed the siding, then repaired caulk and some rotting window and facia board. So the siding was in great shape when they started, it took about a day for the actual painting. And it looks great! I would definitely hire them again.

We don’t usually leave a review for work done a couple of years past completion, but in this case we make an exception for the excellent work we received by using Back County Painting. We wake up each day and still marvel at our home’s interior and how flawlessly Caesar and his crew painted it - still looks like new and holding up to everyday living. We would definitely call them again for any further painting needs and would highly recommend them to others.

We called Back Country Painting as our house project was nearing the finish line but still had some "uncomfortably high" spots that were a little out of my reach (think ladder-averse heights). They squeezed us in during the tail end of the painting season in October, and let me tell you, these guys are practically magical! They arrived early in the morning and by late afternoon, the job was done—and done beautifully. The team left the place cleaner than I do after a Sunday cleaning binge (and that’s saying something). The work? Impeccable. We’re thrilled with how it turned out and will be shouting their praises to anyone who’ll listen. We just had Back Country Painting refinish the soffits of our house. We have lots of soffits, all wood, and they take a beating in our climate (lots of condensation, wind and rain). A carpenter we recently used recommended Back Country Painting and they were great. Their office was professional, responsible, and easy to work with. They came out and looked at the job, and then did a lot of research on the best way to refinish the soffits given the kind of wood and previous treatment. They kept in touch through the bidding and planning stage, and their bid was less than some others we got and, we think, very reasonable. We scheduled their work months in advance because they are busy and the ideal time for such work is short. They kept things on schedule and called to remind me when it was time to complete the work. When the day to start arrived, they called to let me know that they had a brief interruption (2 hours) and thereafter they were on time. Their workers were great. They were skilled, hard-working, and meticulous in their work, and they were genuinely nice people. Most of their work (~80%) was focused on careful preparation. They used drop clothes on the ground and plastic sheeting to protect our windows and siding. I haven't found a single drop of dripped varnish around the house. They ended up spraying the soffits to get the best coverage and then went back over everything to make sure they didn't miss anything. They applied a second coat on some areas that are more exposed to the weather. And they completely cleaned up everything after they were done. Will I use them again? Absolutely -- in a heartbeat.

We are pleased to recommend Backcountry Painting of Burlington, WA. We live on an island with ferry service so it is important that matters be done with an eye to logistics. They did that! We made our arrangements long in advance. The process involved considerable communication over time. The entire project went very well in all ways. Lisa was very helpful in communications and planning. Cesar, the boss, was there at key moments and took care to communicate well with his workers: Alejandro(2), Yessero, Gilberto, and Salvador. The last four did the painting; all were courteous, pleasant, and hard working. Salvador served as leader on-site and was great in all ways. The crew worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. We made some minor last minute changes; Salvador adapted well to those. He and Gilberto came twice so we got to know those two much better: great guys both. Nice smiles. Good follow through too. We needed a little touch up from some tape damage to previous paint on door trim. We found arranging for that easy and pleasant.
It always helps to be and stay present during the work, and that was true in this case. We feel we got what we wanted at a fair price. Very professional outfit. Thanks again!

Back Country Painting is absolutely the Best! We needed the interior of our house painted and were in a bind for time. Caesar and crew came to our rescue and did an outstanding job. From the bid to the finished product, we were treated with excellent customer service. We have 5 buildings that are all built during different eras and they handled all of it with the proper equipment in an efficient manner. They were professional from start to finish. I cannot say enough about the excellent service and overall quality of Backcountry Painting. They are professional, efficient, and do very high quality work (and I’m not easily impressed). They were respectful of my time and space, and left my home as clean as it was before they arrived. I had them do my main living area and cabinets in the bathrooms and kitchen. It wasn’t long before I decided to finish the remaining areas of the house and had them come back. The second time was just as good as the first. I highly recommend Backcountry Painting and I will use them for any future painting needs.

Our house is a very difficult exterior paint job. We had contacted several contractors. Only three responded. Back Country made a very positive first impression and we hired them. As soon as the weather allowed they began work. The job was not only professional it was outstanding! The crews worked hard and with long days. The were very responsive to every question and request. The difficulty of the job was the reason for many estimates never being completed once they saw the house. They did all the work with 100 foot ladders on the front and safety equipment to protect the painters. We have pictures of the work and would be glad to share them. The quality of their work was beyond our expectations.
