I have been working with Roland for the past 3 weeks to help me file a claim on my roof and storm damage. He is up to date on all the issues I need to do to accomplish this task in a timely manner.
He keeps in contact with me about where my claim process is at every couple of days. I will continue to use Roland now and in the future if needed. Roland is hard working, polite and very professional. Shamrock Roofing should keep this gentlemen in there business. Great person!!!!!

Jacob Oliver from Shamrock Roofing originally approached us about our older roof and offered to check out our roof for damage from a recent hail storm. He found a lot of damage (not just on the roof but on the gutters, deck and garage door) and made sure to document everything! We called the insurance agent together to file a claim. When it was time for the adjuster to come out, he advocated well enough on our behalf that the damage was severe enough to warrant a full replacement. Thanks to Jacob, we are on our way to a new roof!

I was asked to update this review following work that was completed recently because I left a 1 star review. Here's the rundown of what happened. I contacted shamrock in June 2023 to get a new roof for two properties. In November 2023 they did the roof around thanksgiving week. I rented a hotel for my entire family to stay in while the roof was being done on both properties because we had to move from both of them. They cancelled that morning they were supposed to start and didn't even call me, I had to check up on them and did it a different day which was very disruptive on a holiday (the day before Thanksgiving) when I had so many people there. I had been waiting months so I was just happy to have it done. The gutter guards were not put on correctly and were holding up the shingles along the edge but I was promised that by March when it got warmer the roof would flatten out. It snowed a ton and I waited. In March of 2024 I contacted them about the gutter guards because they were blowing off the roof into the yard and the downspout they were supposed to install wasn't installed correctly and the roof looked even worse because the gutter guards were holding up the edges. They said that they would come in the summer. Then there was a giant wind storm and I called because the roof still wasn't done and the gutter guards were all over the place because they hadn't reinstalled them when they put the roof back on. They came out, replaced some shingles where a tree branch hit the edge of the roof and gutter and charged me 500 while replacing the gutter guards which I was happy to pay. This was in September 2024. I went up on the roof in November to install Christmas lights and noticed tons of places where the shingles had been torn when installing the new gutter guards especially on every single corner piece. The new shingles were ripped and in some edges I could see the underlayment layer which was fixed in November 2024. Finally, I just had a siding professional come out and tell me that parts of the roof were installed incorrectly, specifically some kick out flashing that was way too long and was peeling up the shingles around the chimney and causing a water leak into the soffits which rotted. They came and fixed that in January 2025 for free and I'm hopeful my roofing journey is done for a while. The last roofer we had was great, however, for how much I had to pay out of pocket and for how many things were incorrect on the contract it wasn't worth it (it's basically blank, all it said is replace roof and replace downspout and there is stuff that they forgot to take out of the contract which makes it sound like they replaced the entirety of the gutters which they didn't). It was a headache and it took 3 different roofers, multiple repairs and years of phone calls, texts photos and advice from others to get it finished. I'm overall begrudgingly happy but still wish I had gone with a different company. They weren't even the cheapest option. Everyone is very nice and polite but getting people to come and finish the work is a headache. Prepare for the work of a part time job of getting them to finish what they started if you hire them.

I was referred to Jacob Himelick with Shamrock Roofing and Construction in Omaha, Nebraska by a friend and could not be happier with the final work. They came out within a relatively quick amount of time to replace my roof despite all the work they had been doing due to the damage all over town from a bad hail storm a few months back. Besides my roof, they also replaced the fascia under the roofline and ensured it looked as good as new again. Jacob was responsive to all of my communications and addressed any concerns I had quickly and without issues. I would recommend them for roof replacement and would use them again in the future.

Worked with Jacob Oliver from Shamrock a few months ago after a big hail storm. He did the inspection the same week I reached out, and talked to my insurance agent on the phone with me to describe the damage. When the insurance company sent their own inspector over, Jacob came back to walk them through it and ensure they didn't miss anything. All the roofing work was completed in a single day and looks great. Overall Jacob was very easy to work with.

The roof crew took special care to cover my mom's flower garden to keep nails and dibree from falling on them, and it looks great. None of the flowers were damage which made me and her very happy. Don't know how I get continue to get the worst shamrock has to offer. From getting a pushy salesman last year, to today getting one storm chasing salesman that, while I'm impolitely telling him to leave my property, tries to incorrectly inform me that a no soliciting sign is only legal if it's the new sign the Douglas county sheriff's created 2 weeks ago.

The roof replacement is a 10/10!! It looks fantastic. I have a few issues with the gutters but as long as we have prompt fixes it shouldn’t be an issue. 8/10 on the gutters.
Part of the reason I’m giving a 4/5 stars is I originally hired Shamrock as they said they could also do siding and painting around the same time of replacing my roof. It has unfortunately been like pulling teeth to get them to come through with this. I’ve had to bring it up multiple times and still haven’t had someone out to give me an estimate on the work needing to be done.

Sam Spearman was super helpful in getting me looked after during the insurance adjuster process and in getting me a bid. I ended up going with a more general contractor for this job because there was more significant damage and I decided to work with a single vendor on everything but I can wholeheartedly recommend Shamrock in terms of their professionalism, responsiveness, and cost with the bid I did get on my roof replacement. They will be my backup if anything goes wrong with this contractor and I will not hesitate to contact them again in the future.

Wanted 11k for a roof on a 64k house (Plus $80 for each sheet of plywood decking they had to replace). National average for a my house is in the 4k-8k range. Found a local group that did it for ~7k which included full replacement of the decking. Good friendly people though so I can't fault them there. But when working with a large company that have overhead like this, it's just no worth it.

Our sales representative, Trey Kobza, was excellent throughout the process. From the initial visit when he got on the roof and cleared a clogged downspout, he was helpful throughout the process. He even drove to Kansas City to pick up our downspouts to get them installed before the Leaf Filter workers were scheduled to install their product. We are very happy with our new roof!
