I have owned a 80 year old 3-story apartment building on Capitol Hill in Washington DC for the past 20 years. It had an exposed brick wall that was badly in need of re-pointing and repair. Shal Builders was working on a similar building nearby. I was immediately impressed by the professionalism of their work. I asked for and received an estimate to do the re-pointing brickwork and also a complete repainting of the front of the building. The estimate was detailed and very fairly priced. SHAL workers erected the 3-story metal scaffolding and completed the brickwork and exterior painting in a highly professional manner. Their workers and supervisors were excellent by every measure. SHAL Builders completed a masonry point up project for Charles County Government. The company was very responsive and exhibited considerable ability to complete the project in spite of the weather conflicts experienced during the time on the project.
