Roof Works did an awesome job replacing a brand new roof on our home. They were here early that morning and was finished by that afternoon. The workers cleaned up when finished and cleaned my yard well getting all materials up, When they finished everything was put back all my yard furniture which they had to move. The new roof and yard cleaned up me and my wife were very pleased of the outcome. I would highly recommend roof works to do anybody that needs a new roof. They are BEST EVER!!

Disappointing.. I hired them to work on a property that I manage. We urgently needed to tarp before we begin the work of replacing the roof. Reached out to them to tarp. They were scheduled the next day. When we discovered that they did not arrive at the job at the time specified we called and they indicated that they deviated contractor to another job pending payment. We had the owner pay to ensure that there be no more damage to the unit but this is not a rule of thumb nor is it legal to require payment before a job is completed. I had their contact info because of a job a few years back. Our intention was to have them replace the roof however, I found their work to be subpar and they were dishonest after they left debris on the roof promising to return only if they received the okay to move forward with the job of replacing the roof. Not only will I not be using this company personally. They will no longer be part of my database of go to contractors for any job as it relates to roofing. Thanks Rhonda.

I reached out to 3-4 roofers to help fix some trim that had become detached during a storm. None of them even responded. Then a neighbor recommended Roofworks. They came out to give me an estimate so quickly... I think think it was same day. This is trim issue is very common in our newly built community. I was able to direct 4-6 homeowners to Roofworks and their team organized a day to come and fix all of our homes. Minimal effort on my part, because there team is full of great communicators. The workmanship is great, they reenforced the trim and I haven't had a problem since. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Also, our home is a very tall 4 story townhome. It is tough to get contractors to do anything on our roofs. Roofworks gets it done. Thanks

Mike did a thorough review of the roof (including actually getting onto it and taking pictures to show me) and identified both short term urgent needs and longer term projects. He did not apply any pressure and was not tricky about what we actually needed to do for winter as opposed to what we could do eventually.

New slates are installed where needed and the gutters are clean. Crew was professional.

We had a great experience with Roofworks! We had wind and hail damage from a storm. Zach came out right away to repair the issue but recommended that the insurance adjuster come inspect. The adjuster recommended the roof be fully replaced and covered by insurance. Zach and April worked directly with my insurance company to get the approvals. The installation was fast and excellent. High quality products and 50 year warranty. Terrific customer service. I highly recommend them for roof work.

The Roof works team was super professional. I'm a buyer who needed a roof evaluation. Ms. Ronda (project manager/administrator) matched me with Mr. Widener who has decades of experience. He was kind, thorough, and fast. He explained his findings in laymen's terms, showed pictures, and was transparent about the immediate next steps. He assessed the best way to access the roof for future repairs and work and shared some "less than pleasant" news in a kind and professional way to myself, the seller's agent, and the seller's contractors. After shingles flew off my roof, I was referred to ROOFWORKS by a neighbor. ROOFWORKS is a family-owned business, and I believe this is important to quality. Zach came out to inspect the old roof and worked on a plan for a new roof that would agree with the HOA requirements. My new roof has a 50-year warranty! Four ROOFWORKS' workers came to my house and raised a new roof in just 7 1/2 hours. The workers were diligent and careful to clear off all the debris and haul it away. I highly recommend ROOFWORKS to anyone who needs a new roof and a company you can trust. They are above excellent!

Roof Right recently replaced the 2700 sq. ft. roof on our 2-story colonial home in Montgomery County. Although their price was not the lowest of the estimates we received, their experience, workmanship, labor warranty and shingle quality were excellent. They arrived on-time, tore off the existing roofing, replaced 10 sheets of plywood and put down the new roof in 1-day. They kept us informed of the project’s status and plans throughout from their initial proposal to final inspection, and cleaned up the debris thoroughly before departing. Their price also includes a free roof inspection every 5-years going forward, and reimbursement of client expenses if they choose to board their pets away from the noise during construction. I highly recommend this company.

Totally satisfied with the bid & work done by RoofWorks. Mike spent time with us explaining the process without pressure or slick tactics that another firm used. Job was done in 1.5 days; enthusiastic laborers & good clean-up. Follow-up inspection with Mike a few days after & he said they would come out to fix any initial issues at no charge. Absolutely trustworthy. Would definitely use them again, but hopefully not for a few decades or so!

Zach, the tech, was very knowledgeable in assessing the siding issue we had from the recent days of unusually strong winds. Pieces of the vinyl siding had blown off the house and the roofline cladding was flapping in the wind.
The tech was able to expertly reattach our siding and cladding, apply matching color sealant to a piece that had cracked and secure all pieces for a seamless result. The service was excellent, and the tech then diligently checked the entire exterior for any other potential issues.
We would definitely call this company again for future exterior needs. What a pleasure!

I could not be happier with my purchase. I was eager to get several quotes and did; however, Roofworks was able to secure my business. The selling points for me were: Mike came out to thoroughly examine my roof and educate me on the things that he saw without trying to upsell me, the contract was clear and provided in a timely manner, the warranty on the roof is provided, and when I had questions about things afterwards, the company was extremely responsive. Also, I had a bit of trouble submitting the final payment due to bank limits, and the company was understanding in their follow-up. I have since gladly submitted the final payment and would absolutely do business with them again. Thank you for making a very stressful purchase less painful. This is my honest review.

This company was professional and timely. They quoted an estimate for replacing two of four gutter systems, they did the work within a week, and didn't try to pressure into upgraded systems/filters. Great work!

Smooth and great experience; I got several estimates from different companies but this company was very honest did not try to sell me more than what I needed.
Answer all the questions I had and completed the job in a timely manner. I highly recommend them

Edit: After posting the review, April resolved our remaining issue (thank you). I hope in the future Roofworks will have a knowledgeable foreman check the install so their customers do not need to point out issues. If their customers do find issues, I hope they'll also be more responsive to concerns.

A few of the issues:
* Installed the wrong range hood vent and refused to replace it for over a month, even with written proof from the manufacturer that the vent was insufficient for the purpose.
* Repaired a rafter and charged us for it without any prior communication. This should have required a permit and inspection.
* Initially omitted kickout flashing that was explicitly included in our quote. On the other side of the house, thought this caulk monstrosity was acceptable for kickout flashing (photo).
* When we pointed out the kickout flashing issue, the install follow-up guy was surprised to hear we were getting our siding replaced (which would have affected the flashing install). Their sales rep knew this and must not have told the team.
* Initially installed a different ridge vent on part of the roof and only replaced it when we pointed out that it looked different. Follow-up guy said the install team must have used a random piece from their truck instead of what was specified in our contract (photo 2).
* Customer service was poor beyond the sales quote. Installation team did not even tell us when they were done or do a walkthrough, just left.
For $19k, I expected much better from the start. I recommend finding someone with a better process for ensuring quality installation.

I was looking to replace my roof, not because of an active leak, but more because of the age, small area of water damage in garage and my preference of making a large financial decision without the stress of an emergency.
In total, I received 3 estimates from 3 companies (Home Genius, Roof Works, & Roof Pups). My experience with the other 2 companies was like dealing with a used car salesperson. What I respected and appreciated about Dave Goldfein was the approach he took. He really understands all of the pieces of the larger picture and was able to educate me on what it all really meant. I never felt pressured, in fact, I felt comfortable to ask any question and get a clear answer. He didn't try to 'upsell' and didn't claim I needed additional work (when really, I did not).
Claudia from the office was genuine in our conversations, not blowing me off or not hearing what I said. She kept me informed of the what I could expect. When I called to see about scheduling a date, she patiently reviewed the steps of the process. My experiences with other companies' in the past, have been anything but helpful and respectful. I never felt like I was being given the runaround. She was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable.
The crew worked hard all day to make sure everything was done the way it ought to be. They were all very friendly and highly skilled. They returned the following day to go around the perimeter with the magnet (it was dark when they left). The clean up was thorough and complete. Nothing was left behind. The result looks great, and the best part is the relief I feel knowing an excellent job was done to protect my home and family.
My best friend used them last year and had a similar experience to mine. She intended to only replace the skylights and had the unfortunate surprise to learn her roof was in pretty bad shape. I highly recommend Roof Works to anyone looking to replace their roof, whether emergency or planned. I don't give out recommendations of many companies but this is one I encourage you to consider.

I was delighted that Chris from Roofworks came out to take a look at a concern we had. He was thorough, got on the roof, took a picture to show me what he saw. He discussed options with me and did not charge for coming out. I appreciated that he was not trying to give me a hard sell.

I had roof, gutters (black), facia, and soffits replaced. The crew working at my house was professional and did an amazing job. You could tell this crew has worked together for quite a while. Their work was systematic, with pride and their clean up was great. We haven’t found a single nail and my roof was done about 3 weeks ago. My neighbors have even commented on how good my house looks. I would highly recommend RoofWorks and can’t wait to have my siding and windows done by them next year.

Excellent experience from initial estimate to job completion. We received several quotes for a total roof and gutter replacement. Not only were we impressed with the quality of materials and transparency in pricing, they were also very competitively priced and the representative listened to our concerns, areas of focus, and desired work schedule. Wonderful communication, customer service, and follow-up from the central office as well as explanation of process and estimatimation for completion time-frame. And to top it off, the work, while not rushed and what appears top quality, finished as promised, if not early. I, as the proper owner, was communicating and making decisions from out of the county and not once did that pose a problem as they were easy to communicte with in all forums: text, email, or phone call, with a variety of payment options available. We ran into a leak in our roof with in the first 2 weeks of moving in. We had 3 roofers look at the issue and Michael from Roofworks figured it out and was able to have it repaired in no time. We have had 2 other issues since that time, they have always been helpful and swift in their evaluation and repair. Also provided us with a very good quote for both repair and replacing the roof.

Zack of Roofworks did a great job helping me comply with our association's roof and gutter repair and cleaning. He was quick to respond and performed the cleaning and repair quickly and efficiently. I will use again and I highly recommend!

Our back porch roof needed to be replaced. The ROOFWORKS estimator provided a detailed description of the work to be done and the materials that would be used. He also had samples of the replacement shingles for us to choose. The front office was a pleasure to work with in scheduling the job. The workers came on time. They worked carefully, efficiently and cleaned up. We are very happy with the quality of work and thought the price was reasonable. We would not hesitate to use ROOFWORKS again and would them recommend to friends and neighbors.

We recently had our roof and gutters replaced. The salesperson that did the estimate did not pressure us at all and was extremely informative. Once we decided to proceed, we paid a 1/3 deposit and the supplies were ordered. They were able to start the work the following week and were done the roof in one day and came back the next day to install the gutters. Their staff cleaned up and were very polite. I would highly recommend and they are a local business.

Mr. Widener who examined the roof and provided the estimate is well informed about the roofing business in general. After evaluating the roof he discussed areas of concern as well as potential replacement possibilities necessitating additional cost. I appreciate Mike explaining the entire process to me which included payment and options too.
He also made valuable recommendations regarding the type of skylight glass I needed to aid in heating/air conditioning efficiency. The roofing staff perform the job are definitely an asset to Roof Works. They too were professional and skilled in their trade and in working well together to get a two-fold job done: removal of roof flue pipe before & skylight replacement. Roofworks came highly recommended by two neighbors and we now know why! We'd never use anyone else. Getting an appointment for a free estimate was quick and easy. The estimate appointment was super easy and we didn't feel pressured in any way. This was in stark contrast to another estimate we received where the appointment felt high pressure and full of gimmicks and attemps to upsell us on products that came standard with Roofworks. Roofworks was the more affordable estimate we got with the same quality of product and I'd argue better workmanship! And, they started work within a couple of weeks, where other companies told us we'd have to wait at least a month (we had a leak so time was of the essence). One they started work, the workers were fast and super respectful of our property. They cleaned up thoroughly and were very patient with a busy family moving in and out the front door! We are thrilled with the quality of the new roof.

My roof was not very old but had a leak. I could not find the leak and the original installer could not find the cause the leak. I was frustrated and ready to replace the roof. I asked roofworks for an eatimate but they discovered the cause of the leak and repaired it. I was charged a reasonable amount for the service which saved me thousands. I would recommend them.

These guys did a good job replacing my gutters. They were efficient, has decent prices, and got the job done quickly. They could improve a bit on the backend, which is where some of the negative reviews come from (I had to call a few times), but the work was good.

When we purchased our house, it had a new roof that was recently installed by Roofworks. Since then, we have had two separate issues with leaks and we were not sure of the source. Both times, Roofworks came out and was very helpful in diagnosing the problem and helping to come up with a solution for us, even though it ended up being the case that neither leak was due to the work by Roofworks (but instead were caused by a neighbor's roof and an issue with mason work). Both visits were also free of charge under our roof warranty, even though the issue ultimately did not end up being a Roofworks issue. We have really appreciated their customer service and would recommend their services.

Our most recent experience was a roof replacement, new gutters and gutter guards Dave provided top notch guidance with walking us through the process, professionalism and great communication. This is a genuine review. I wasn't asked or paid to write this review nor was I promised or given any discounts, upgrades or perks by Roofworks.
The pre-installation experience was great including on-site visit for inspection (coordinated with the insurance evaluator) and estimate. Roofworks was very responsive and contacted within one day of my estimate request (vs no response at all from 8 other roofers). The representative was very knowledgeable and friendly. There was no sale pressure.
The installation experience was okay. Water got into the attic and caused mild water damage to the upper level ceiling as well as a short circuit tripping the breaker. The water leak happened at some point when they the removed the ridge and some OSB boards although the actual source remains unclear.
They sent my final invoice by email and it was as promised in the estimate with a fair price and no surprises.
The post-installation experience was good. Roofworks answered all my questions on the new roof and they are currently processing the registration of the roof warranty. I'll update this review if warranted.

The worst time to reach out to a roofer is when a large branch(tree) has crashed through your roof. I lucked out when I reached out to Roofworks to come in, cover the damage and replace the roof. The company is experienced in working with older homes (I have a 100-yr-old bungalow). I highly recommend this company.

I had a great experience with Roofworks. Zach worked well communicating with myself and my insurance to replace my full roof. Explained the details of the work needed in a clear manner. Price was very reasonable. When work was scheduled, the crew was on time and very efficient. Constantly working on the roof throughout the day to get it done. Very hard working crew. Cleaned up my yard and neighbor's yards. Overall, for a project this size, I was very happy with who I chose to do the work.

This is the company to go to for a new roof. They did a timely, detailed estimate for roof and gutters that was lower than some other companies charged for just a roof. Work was completed in a day as scheduled.

UPDATE: I hired Roofworks again to replace another roof, and again they did excellent work in a timely manner. The roof they did 3 years ago still looks brand new. These guys are great!

I have a rental house with a small, unusually steep roof. Multiple roofers went to the house to give me an estimate and then I never heard from them again. Roofworks harnessed in and did an excellent job, and their professionalism was really appreciated.
