As a Veteran, I really appreciated how they took care of this install from start to finish. From Sal who handled the deal to Eric's install crew, they were amazing! They were priced below everyone else, installed the roof in one day, cleaned up the whole site when they were done - absolutely wonderful! Professional, kind, and courteous. My recommendation to whoever reads this, don't even bother shopping around, because you're gonna just go with Vallor. Save yourself some time and just start with the best of the best with your first call! And I'll say it again, the crew was f"ing awesome!

Called looking for an estimate to get my roof replaced. I have solar panels on my roof. They told me they couldn’t help me until I get the solar panels scheduled to remove before they would even come out to give me an estimate. I said ok I’m trying to see how much it would cost for a roof replacement so I can make a budget to have the money to do the job. The company spokesman said and I quote “google it.” Externally helpful. I was done at that point. Thanks!

Sal and all of Valor did a great job getting us a new roof. Sal personally provided me an estimate in a very responsive manner. He then proceeded to answer a ton of my questions, taking this time and explaining everything until I understood the answer and was comfortable with everything. They offered a VERY reasonable and fair price. the crew came out and worked a very long day to get the job done in a single day. The new roof looks great. Overall, Valor home was very easy to work with and extremely responsive to all of my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend them.

Valor Home recently replaced the roof on our home. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. We signed a contract on a Monday and the project was completed 4 days later. The project would have been finished a day earlier except for a one-day rain delay. They replaced all of the plywood, shingles and the entire gutter system. All of the Valor Homes crew were courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend Valor Home for your roofing needs.

Sal was great to work with. The supplies were delivered on Monday. The crew had the shingles installed by the end of the day on Monday. The rain gutters were installed today.

The service provided by Sal and his team was excellent! Sal, in particular, was extremely responsive and patient with me in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. My inquiries were often addressed within the hour, regardless of the day or time. They provided a fair estimate and completed the project as scheduled. I seldom write reviews, but the service and responses of Sal and the Valor team was so impressive, I believe a five star review is appropriate.

The Valor Home team were on time, professional and very hard working. They did a great job on our roof which looks beautiful.

From beginning to end, Valor Home took care of our family and our home the right way. I am an Air Force Veteran and the main thing that brought me to Valor was the fact that they give back to the Veteran community.

An experienced sales person came to our home and explained everything that they were going to have to do, explained what hidden issues there might be and how they would take care of it. He showed us a quick slideshow of the history of the company and explained who they are and what they represent.

Within two weeks, I had a phone call scheduling delivery, installation, and gutters.

They came and installed my roofing in a 14 hour day on one of the hottest days of the year. They cleaned up after themselves and made everything look professional.

Next the gutter guys showed up and in a couple hours they knocked out brand new gutters, and downspouts that are beautiful.

I did receive quotes from other companies, and Valor was very comparable. I also found out that one of their products they use is made right here in Baltimore. To me, this was a win-win. Not only did I support a company that supports Veterans but it also supports local families.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not even bother calling them. I am an active duty Army servicemember living in Harford County, MD. It took multiple attempts just for me to get someone to return my call the first time. When I finally spoke with them, I told them I needed to schedule a roof repair. They told me they had to check their schedule and would get back to me by the end of the day. 2 days went by without a return call. When I called back, they apologized and guaranteed they would call me back this time. They failed to call me back again. Meanwhile, all the rain we’ve had in MD just keeps causing more damage to my house. Valor Home/Valor Roofing cannot provide basic customer service. I would not trust them with your home/roof.

Just had our roof replaced on our townhouse. The people at Valor home are friendly and professional to work with. The day of the install the crew arrived early and finished mid day. They cleaned up all debris so no mess was left behind. It was also a nice surprise to get a follow up call after installation to make sure we were happy with the process. I will be using Valor home if I need work done in the future.

Valor Home did us dirty over the course of replacing our roof. They placed scaffolding over our new patio iron railings causing divots and scratches then told us to "use Rustoleum on it". I had even asked the workers to please be careful as the powder coated and fired iron railings "are new". Their "customer service" was dismissive and insulting. This company advertises "Honor. Trust. Respect. Trust Your Home to Valor". What a crock. I plan to pursue this until they take responsibility for repairs.

Valor utilizes quality roofing products at competitive pricing. The installation team did a fantastic job and looks great!!! I now have one less thing to worry about. Added benefit, they support and give back to the military and first responders. I would recommend Valor for your next roofing needs.

Great experience, timely installation scheduling, completed entire project in less than 7 hours . Immaculate clean up. Quality products, finished product looks great! Could improve on communication after installation as had to ask for warranty info and complete that process (registration, provide bill of sale,etc).

The process of replacing our roof by Valor Home was completed from beginning to end without any issues. Our Valor contact, Keith, was available to us from signing the contract to completion of the job to insure all aspects/steps went smoothly. We would recommend Valor Home to anyone considering a roof or other home improvement project they offer.

This is a company with a solid reputation, time in the industry, excellent quality of work along with a fair price. Cody came directly to my door several times to meet with us. He explained everything in great detail. Not just the boiler plate stuff like how long the roof will last or warranty but what to expect on the day of installation. I received 3 estimates before deciding on Valor. Not only was the price very competitive but I love what they stand for. Including doing free roofs for veterans.

On the install day their crews were on time and worked the whole day both times. My roof is large so it was an expected 2 day install.

One thing that was a must on who we would choose was to do our roof must also do the gutters. Valor contracted them to be done right after the roof. Again, perfectly on time and finished with in the 2 days. Amazing. When everyone left the yard was perfectly clean like no one had been there.

Cody also helped set us up with financing. All I had to do was sign a few papers over email. Then I just went outside and admired our new roof.

Valor Home is just the company I was looking for. I wanted to give my business to an ethical company that I could trust. My husband and I knew what the problem was and Valor diagnosed the very problem we knew we had and fixed it. I would use them again and would recommend them to all my friends and family. The fact that they are a Veteran owned company had alot of appeal to me. You will never find someone that will work so hard for you. I would call them again without hesitation.

After having multiple leaks in our roof, my husband and I decided to replace the shingles completely. I sent the inquiry to get an estimate on a Saturday morning, and received a response from Sal that afternoon. He was super courteous, and very efficient at giving us our estimate. Two days later, we were scheduling our installation date. The instillation crew not only did a great job of completing the job on-time, but of cleaning up our property as well. They even moved our deck furniture back for us. I would highly recommend Valor Home for any roofing installation needs!

The team was awesome! Very respectful of property. It’s nice to work with people who have manners and are professional. They worked continuously and completed the entire roof including the replacement of 25 pieces of roof plywood and shingles in a single day! Clean up was great. Roof looks wonderful. I am so sorry we used Valor. We were so excited to use them for our walk in shower. 1st they said we would get an Xbox 365, and no payments until 2024. Well, we didn't qualify for the Xbox, because we received a discount for military service. Ok, no problem. But, now we are getting contacted because our payments are now 2 months late. Received a late notice in the mail early July and 2 days later the first bill for payment. Than the phone calls started. We are upset because we were lied to and now behind payments. I hate being behind on bills and have worked very hard to pay my bills. Being late or behind is very upsetting to me. I tried to make a payment today and they won't take a credit card. Only check or debit card. What kind of nonsense is that?
It's bad enough took days to put in. The workers did have all they needed to complete the job and had to go to the hardware store to purchase parts. And, the floor pan is so slippery. We have all slipped and my mother inlaw fell.

We will never use or recommend this company ever again.

We had a great experience with a quote for window replacement with Mr. Williams yesterday. He was prompt, professional, thorough, and friendly. I also loved hearing about the history of the company and their focus on supporting vets (my family is all military). We will definitely hire them in the future!

I can't speak to the quality of work but their sales practices are unprofessional and sketchy. I set up an appointment to have an estimate done for a roof on a house I bought and drove 3 hours to meet the salesman only to have him not show up. When I called they apologized so I reluctantly agreed to reschedule only to have the guy on the phone grill me about my relationship status and when he found out I have a girlfriend he insisted that we both be there or they wouldn't even give me a quote which is an impossibility as we were both 3 hours away and work and have pets to watch which I explained to no avail. Ultimately I'm glad we didn't have our roof done by them after the weird encounter but what a huge waste of time.

Roof was at end of life. Called Valor, they came out promptly, quoted and explained in detail their services.
Set date for install. The did a great job, cleaned up as the went through replacement, cleaned up completely and finished my roof and my neighbors roof in one day.

For the ones who use reviews as a way to decide I’m telling you now, do not use this company. You’ll better off getting your roof replaced/repaired by some other company who doesn’t use a sales team to try and rope you into a so called “deal” as the best they can do. Then make you feel like you’re messed up if you don’t take it.

Then when they say they honor the “right to cancel” they will try everything in them to get you to stay. I took a chance and I’m not impressed. For a company who is veteran owned should be really ashamed. Once again, if you look at the reviews to decide like I should’ve done, let this be your decider. As a member of the US military I won’t stand by and let someone else have a negative experience.

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone was professional, friendly and very responsive. Everything happened exactly how they explained. The onsite crew was professional and worked without delay. They tryout worked as a team and completed the installation in one day. A supervisor was onsite the entire time, followed by a area supervisor who came near the end of the day to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. They cleaned up every nail and scrap, not only in my yard but in my neighbors as well. Day two was new gutters. Again, completed without a hitch and the work looks great. I highly recommend this company. I was impressed from the beginning with the products made in the USA and their work with veterans. Thank you Valor roofing for a job well done

Fantastic experience with Valor Roofing! We had 5 estimates done and this was the only company that actually shows you everything they plan to do and how it's going to be done. They were here exactly when they promised and the job was completed in one day. The roof looks great!! Can not say enough great things about our experience. They fact they are veteran owned and the veteran charities they support helped in our decision. Also, their estimate was lower than the other four companies, all of which were 5-star rated companies.

We have tried several times to get a quote from this company with no response. The company even showed up to our home with a delivery of tiles which wasn’t meant for our home however I told the delivery guy that have been trying to get a quote from them for a roof. The delivery guy said a sales guy would be in contact…. Still haven’t heard from anyone… needless to say we will be be contacting other roofing companies. A shame a fellow veteran trying to support a veteran owned company and can’t even get a quote!

I looked into valor for a new roof. They were my first and only contact to do the job. I felt no need to look at another company. Valor demonstrated a high level of customer appreciation and they valued that i called them for any chance for them to do my roof.
As for the actual roof it was done without any issues and done fast. I highly recommend Valor their organization is beyond anyone else in this area.

I know that this is not a common review because William didn't do any work on my house. But I had an experience with William from Valor. I had been stuck on the road with my daughter after just leaving the house on the way to gymnastics practice. My truck wouldn't stay started I knew at that point that I needed a new battery at least and possibly a new alternator. William saw that I needed help and pulled over to help. The only one to pull over and help even the police went drove past me and didn't help. He gave me a jump start the car cut on but when I put it in to drive it shut off. So he saw that and stopped and said he would tow me with his pick-up truck to auto zone so I could get a new battery. And William did and stayed with me the entire time to make sure me and my daughter were ok. William even said he would tow me to my house 10 mins away if the new battery didn't fix the problem for me to at least get home luckily the new battery did allow me and my daughter to drive home. I offered to pay him for the help he had given us when no body else would. And he wouldn't take it he said "he was doing it out of the kindness of his heart." And I was touched and forever grateful for his kindness and generosity towards me and my daughter. And if William was willing to go above and beyond for a stranger having car troubles I can only imagine his work ethic on a job. Thank you so much for your service to our country ❤. And thank you for your help that day when I needed someone and you were there to help without looking for anything in return. And thank you for being kind to my daughter she cherishes the valor coin you gave her thank you.

The Valor team, from sales to installation were professionals. I received estimates from several companies, and Valor had the best price. I am also a veteran, and I try to support businesses that support veterans. I made the right choice. 5 stars!

The entire process was very straightforward and easy! Once we finalized everything, the installation process was just as fantastic! The installers arrived at 6:45am and they all worked STEADILY until 7pm (except lunchtime break obviously) and installed the roof on our home in one day!! The men were all very professional and friendly!! I seriously and honestly recommend this company for roof installation! It was so convenient and our roof looks absolutely superb! Every aspect of Valor’s service was very positive. The crew was very nice, answered questions, did a terrific job with clean up, and the roof looks terrific. We were given an excellent price for the architectural upgrade and the gentleman who came over to get our signature was a really good guy. I mentioned to him that it looked like they didn’t even charge us for the one sheet of plywood they used and he said they decided to simply concede the cost of that for us. Very impressed with Valor Roofing. This is a very competitive business and from the moment I started working with them they were very polite, professional, up front and honest. Had my roof and gutters replaced and the entire process from picking out material to install day was very easy and "NOT" an overwhelming task. The install team showed up on time and completed the job in less than half a day! Very clean, didn't leave any access nails or old shingles and even replaced a damaged piece of plywood free of charge. I was very surprised that the gutters were installed the same day. Great company, highly recommend looking into these guys if you are interested in a new roof and gutters.

- When materials were delivered on 8/27, my sidewalk was cracked and I still haven't heard from anyone as an insurance claim "was filed"
- Also driver of material delivery truck urinated at the dead end part of the street with me watching from my porch.
- No project manager on site during project as there was a language barrier with myself and the workers
- Broken solar light left on porch, was not informed that they broke it
- No magnet was used to pick up nails from work areas, husband picked up all nails in picture. The first row of nails were visible with own eyes in my DRIVEWAYS. Back row was collected after husband bought magnet and cleaned up our own site.
- No apology, no excuses, nothing....

Did an awesome job on my roof! Management, sales and the guys and lady installing the roof were very polite and knowledgeable about their products. I had an issue with the flashing near my chimney and they helped me out by fortifying it so future damage wouldn't happen. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with my experience! Very professional, understood ahead of time that I was gathering numerous estimates and did not want "the sell". After choosing Valor to complete the job, scheduling was seamless. They finished a day early to my surprise. When more rot was found on my roof that would require additional work, they notified me immediately so there were no surprises. Very pleased with overall job!

Our roof was done just today. BEAUTIFUL job. From the beginning, the salesperson, Chris, was responsive and answered ALL my questions. I received communication with reference to the delivery of materials and installation. On the day of installation, everyone was professional, efficient and nice. Whenever my husband or I came out to check, the foreman would ask if we had questions or anything. They worked over 13 hours with reasonable breaks. I highly recommend them. Great experience.

Valor roofing is terrible with communication. On our scheduled roofing day, it was raining so they told us we would get a call to reschedule. A week went by. My mother had to call them multiple times in order to set up a new appointment. After two months, the roof started leaking. Never leaked before, even with a 15 year old roof. So she called them, and they said they would contact her to set up a time they could come out. They showed up at 8:45am this next morning banging on the door to fix it. No one even told us they would be coming out. Also, this company texts you which is so unprofessional. I would not recommend Valor roofing until they get certain issues sorted out. I stand behind what they do for Veterans but their customer service, communication and quality of work is terrible.

I called to schedule an estimate for a new roof. My husband is coming up on 20 years in the military, and I'm a government employee. We like the idea of supporting vets. The radio advertisement for half the material free also was a good incentive.

Unfortunately, they insist on both of the home owners be home, or they won't give a quote. My husband is at work during regular business hours when there's daylight (when someone would be able to get up on a roof and look). My schedule is random, with short notice on assignments. Additionally, weekends have multiple kids' sporting activities. We can provide 1 of us, but asking both to take off work, or both to skip our children's sporting events is completely unreasonable.

The lady on the phone said it's not her policy, and refused to schedule an appointment. She said she would have a project manager call back, but no one called.

Heard of these guys replacing a roof for vets for free so thought I'd give them a shot. My brother is in the air force. I requested a price online and 3 weeks later I never heard from them so I called. He saw me in the system and told me someone would be out to price. 4 weeks later still never heard from them. If you're too busy or just don't want to work in Baltimore City, I wish you would have just told me that instead of wasting my time. I went with Allied. Allied has been awesome so far.
